Tyekanik continues to follow, keeping his eyes out for details to report back to the group, and half hoping they catch a straggler.

You hear the sound of stone scraping to your north, from on top the central raised area. Then after a few seconds, a male voice calls out in a strange language, that is replied to from the camp area in the northeast.
Turning to Mal, Tyekanik’s deep voice whispers, “There’s some movement up there, and they’re calling out to each other, though I can’t understand the tongue… Should we get the others?”
"Might as well, seems this camp is rather uninteresting, so why don't we liven things up." Mal whispers back and then moves off to rejoin the others. As they travel back she thinks, Need to talk to everyone about somehow getting a device made up or spells cast so we can actually understand what these idiots are speaking, as these info gathering trips are kind of a waste if we can't understand what is being said.
Akkron watches from the eyes of his familiar for a while, before returning to his own senses. After all, the riders might have scouts of their own, and he really wouldn't want to be caught completely unaware.
"So... how long do you think we should wait here before we follow them?" the lich asks no-one in particular. "If they're gone too long, Khessa and I might even be able to walk right into the camp... the riders probably won't think twice about a lich and a Zemoch priestess appearing in their camp... well, unless word has already gotten out that an undead mage has come across the seas to fight against Azash and his followers."

Khessa is uncertain... "We could go now, but I wouldn't want to interfere with their plans... Anator is keeping an eye on the situation, he should notice if they are in trouble... Unless they have come across an enemy so powerful as to neutralize them without giving them time to signal anything to Anator. But, hey... it would really take a major enemy... we're talking about Mal and Tyekanik..."
The blonde arcane warrior fixes her blue eyes in the mentor's sockets, as empty of matter as they are full of humanity: "Do you think it's time to worry, Master Akkron?"

nodding, Tyekanik sneaks back to the others with his companion to inform them of everything they've found.
[[ OOC: @DM: Thanks for letting us know; probably some were waiting for you to tell if Mal and Tyekanik managed to return to us without problems ]]
Khessa listens carefully to the account of the two returning friends and summarizes: "Two groups... camped relatively far from each other... and no trace of prisoners to be sacrificed. Perhaps there is no prison here and the victims are sacrificed almost immediately after capture".
"So..." the blue eyes of the blonde arcane warrior search those of her companions one by one "we limit ourselves to attacking the closest group, trying to surprise and eliminate them before they can join the others?"
"Right prisoners, forgot about them, could that possibly be the pile of skeletons in the one corner. Tye and I never really made it to that corner to look around, so your theory might be correct. I guess there is only one way to find out, we go attack the camp. I suggest we sort of split up, or at least divide our attacks. Tye and Akkron can focus on the camp the the northeast and Khessa and I can focus on the Northwest. With Akkron and Khessa starting off the fight with spells, hopefully killing most of them and then Tye and I can sweep up. Having Amanises and Benron taking out anyone that attempts to flee. Anyone have any better suggestion, as it has been a little while since I have worked with a group." Mal asks.
"That sounds like a reasonable plan to me... if I can get within 90 feet of one of the groups I may be able to neutralize all of them out at once with one of my personal favorite spells. I am also decently stealthy... though I am by no means an expert in that particular field. If anyone happens to have pass without trace or enhance ability prepared that would be helpful."

"Maybe we have an alternative to pure stealth, Master Akkron..." Khessa speculates "You and I could teleport directly to the point we want to attack from... I have Dimension Door Prepared, so I could use that... surely you have something even better than that Prepared that you can use. That way we wouldn't risk ruining Mal and Tyekanik's stealth".
Akkron can't help but chuckle at Khessa's faith in his foresight.
"I'm afraid that I mostly prepared offensive spells for this expedition..." he says. "Though I suppose I could dash down there and then get as close as I can with misty step. Steel wind strike also technically is able to teleport me, but I'm not sure I want to get within 30 feet of them and then cast a spell that basically puts me right into melee with one or more of them... so at the moment simple stealth will probably have to be sufficient. I doubt it will be especially difficult to get within 90 feet of their position anyway."

"Okay, Master Akkron" Khessa, holding her magical staff in her hand for now, already fixes her blue eyes with determination on the target. Before leaving, she will cast Haste on herself, so that she can also deal a physical attack, after having brought the magical one.
Tyekanik grins as they make the plan for the sneak attack. Creeping forward he crouches, waiting for the others to bamf into view before releasing his rage.
Mal will lead Khessa in the direction of where she saw the camp, pointing out the one guy at the alter, then whispering in her ear, "When you launch the attack at the camp I will also take out the guy at the alter. Once he is down I can join you in cleaning up what is left of the camp." Then Mal silently swears, "Totally forgot about Sparhawk and Maynard, I should have asked them to take care of the guy in the center, as they would probably easily have been able to subdue him." Then she sighs and shrugs her shoulders, "Oh well, nothing to be done about it now." As she raises her crossbow, "I will start firing on your mark."
Mal will move a little bit to get into position to fire when Khessa lights up the camp.
Stealth: Nat 1, but with reliable talent that makes it s 10 so 27 total.
{OOC: lol, sigh, Dice Gods rear their ugly heads always at the best time.]
Khessa will not risk stealthing, something she knows she is no good at all at; she uses Dimension Door (just after having Hasted herself) to teleport herself and Alfred behind the cover that Mal wanted her to reach.
As surprise attack, she unleashes a Fireball from her staff. If there are survivors she unleashes a second one. If there are survivors, she exchanges her staff for the Death Lance, runs to the nearest target and tries to impale them, while Alfred stays just behind her!
[[ OOC: Khessa unleashes Staff of Power's Fireball with her action, same with Action Surge, puts away the Staff as free object interaction, summons the Death Lance in hand as bond weapon as bonus action, runs toward enemy with her enhanced movement, attacks enemy with the single-attack action granted by Haste ]]
