Zeds, not about to surrender goods or coin to such, and deciding it best to eliminate a threat before it can become one, attacks. Drawing shortswords and slashing out he hopes to put this thief down quick and easy...
Short sword attack vs Thief: 21to hit for 8piercing damage Bonus Action short sword attack: 19to hit for 9 piercing damage Sneak Attack: If either of the above hit then Zeds Rakish Audacity allows Sneak Attack when nobody is within 5ft of him so 7additional damage
((OOC: I'm not sure how long it took Zeds to get up there and how far along the others are into unloading the wagons into the warehouse. But I assume that we're trying to keep an eye on Zeds and the thief on the roof.)
Does Ixsas notice Zeds is now on the roof and fighting someone? Perception9
Zeds gets caught by the thief's first counter attack but is then able to sidestep the other. "Not bad," he says with a grin. "Seem I chose..." but instead of actually finishing the thought Zeds is attacking again.
Short Sword Attack: 20to hit for 11damage BA Shortsword Attack: 25to hit for 8damage Sneak Attack does an extra 9damage, assuming one of those attacks hit...
Zeds grunts as the first attack hits but once more is able to avoid the second... And quickly counter-attacks.
Shortsword Attack: 13 to hit for 9damage... But Zeds uses his Heroic Inspiration to reroll that attack roll and it's now: Natural 1. So... good use of inspiration there! lol
BA Shortsword Attack: 24 to hit for 7damage
Sneak Attack does 10extra damage if the BA attack hits...
Seeing Zeds fight the man on the roof, the kobold immediately turns and begins muttering a few words in draconic under his breath as he attempts to cast hold person on the man in the shadows...
Perception: ? 4 and 20 [Tried to roll on the character sheet and it spit two rolls out. For RP purposes I think it's more fun to have Serge so amped up he fails to notice a swordfight on the roof.]
Serge continues to unload crates and barrels while trying not to look like he's ready to come out of his skin and rain vengeance down upon as-yet-unidentified foes.

ooc: I crit my previous perception check, am I able to notice the fighting or would I have to make another?
Everyone except for Ixsas can make another perception check. DC 10 to see Zeds fighting.
Ixsas does not notice the fight and he is perhaps distracted the by the unloading process.
Timing wise it would not have taken long for Zeds to climb onto the roof, so the rest of the party is just about finishing up unloading the goods.
A guard takes notice and does not intervene as he is just making sure the fight does not damage the building.
The thief is hardier than you think, and he immediately retaliates with 2 attacks with a short sword
