"I think so" The kobold would say with a nod. he would then turn towards the gnome and extend his hand. "I'll take the luck stone, and Mugwort will take the potion. Mimzy can take the special dust and Fon can have some fancy not-armor armor if you have any..." Sound good?"
"Thank you for all of your help sir, we really appreciate it!"
Mimzy appreciates the thought but it's not really her style nor suits her Fey nature so she suggests that someone who might need it take possession of it just in case they find themselves caught in a hazard of the marsh such as quicksand, etc. To this she adds, better yet, if possible, then let the dust be split up and divided between everyone or any many of group as possible making it even more useful in an emergency.
Snibfi smiles a warm, ear-to-ear sort of smile. "Ah. I know exactly what you mean!" he says, signaling for you all to wait while he rifles through yet another basket. On the table in the center of the room he lays two objects - a pair of gleaming golden bracers and a beautiful belt cut from white-scaled hide. "These bracers are defensively-oriented while the garment magically augments the wearer's offensive capabilities - making a monk's mystical energy more potent and more... accessible. Fon, let me know which of the two strikes your fancy."
Snibfi nods, and the deal is completed. The following items are laid before you to be split up among inventories:
Bracers of Defense Dust of Dryness Minor Health Potion Luck Stone
"I must be mad, giving away these items for next-to-nothing. No matter..."
The old gnome looks at you all sagely. "If I may ask, what is your plan as the shadows stretch and the evening hours settle in - have you rest in mind, or travel?"
"How far away is your mom's house Mimzy? Do you think she would mind guests staying the night?" Mender would ask as he places the necklace over his head and the dust in his pack. "Otherwise, maybe we should stay the night here and leave to see her in the morning? I spend a couple nights out in that swamp already and it wasn't the most pleasant... "
Mimzy thought for a moment and gave Mender a playful Fairy smirk, "oh mother's lair is quite large actually, plenty of rooms... some I think I've never even bothered to look inside. Mother and I both prefer the little cozy rooms off her cauldron work room and study. I'm sure she won't mind putting up guests she's invited for the night."
"Sounds like a plan then! Plus... we don't really have the coin to sleep here for the night anyway.." mender would say with a smile. "I guess we better get going if we want to try to get there before it gets too dark." The kobold would adjust his leather hat and pack, ready to head back upstairs.
**** Assuming they are OK to go, he would make his way back to the table and carefully pack away any leftover food and empty any of the remaining rum from the pitcher into his waterskin. "Alright, you lead the way Mimzy!" He would exclaim, excited to be making progress towards freeing his island and having made some new friends.
"Sure thing," the Fairy quickly agrees, "just follow me," then and takes to air just over them to show them the way. Mimzy extremely excited that for the first time in memory her mother has agreed to allow her to bring her friends around!
"Ahem. Have you come to a consensus?"
"I think so" The kobold would say with a nod. he would then turn towards the gnome and extend his hand. "I'll take the luck stone, and Mugwort will take the potion. Mimzy can take the special dust and Fon can have some fancy not-armor armor if you have any..." Sound good?"

"I'll hold on to the dust for now too then" Mender would reply. "If anyone wants the dust they can just ask"
