Korba, seeing his companions go down, knows this needs to end as quickly as possible, but fearing for his own safety stays back sending his shadow to attack, as well as an eldritch blast.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(ehem... in that case)
Korba clutches his wounds, sheaths his sword, and attempts to help stabilize his companion, knowing that someone else can point out what he's doing wrong.

Hewelathan drops his end of the rope that's tied to the specimen jar and hurries over to Korba. He reaches into a pouch, takes out one goodberry, and hands Korba the bright bluish-violet berry. He says, "Here, Korba. Feed this to Jodie. Make sure she chews it, and it should revive her." He then continues over to Flinn and feeds Flinn one of the goodberries.
(OOC: Flinn's character sheet still shows 14 / 14 HP, but I'm pretty that between posts #418 and #433, he suffered 22 HP of damage and would also be unconscious and dying at this point.)
Once both Jodie and Flinn have been revived, he'll leave them to heal each other further, if they'd like. He's trying to reserve his final spell slot in case they run into more trouble and he needs to cast healing word to revive someone in the middle of a fight.
Hewelathan then collects his two javelins. Since one is near the dark pit, he prays for guidance and then sniffs the air and listens for a minute at the edge of the pit to check whether there's any hint about what might be below. (Perception12)
Before they leave, Hewelathan says, "We should also bring back one of these dolgrim to show Theodemar some of the other dangers that we faced to bring back his prize." He picks up the body of the dolgrim that was killed by dissonant whispers and Korba's elven shadow minion since that body is probably the least mutilated by the fighting. If he can just lay it across the top of the specimen jar, he'll do that. Then he gathers up his end of the rope that's tied around the specimen jar and gets ready to continue their journey out of the caves.

"I will be curious to see if he knows anything about how these things got here,"Korba muses, adding, "And if there is anything to be known about these deep pits into nothingness. Even my eyes," touching the dark lenses over his eyes, "cannot peer into their depths."
Jodie awakes with the taste of the gooderry in her mouth, "Madness! It's like eating tomato soup." She gets up gingerly. "How much further until we reach the end of the cave? Perhaps we can take a short rest before heading back to town. I too would like to reserve some magic. This day is not over yet."
She walks over to one of the doldrums, "Nasty little buggers, though I do fancy their crossbows." Jodie picks up one of the hand crossbows and bolts. "At least I can use this with my blade."
Rhaenys lets out a long relieved breath after she sees Jodie and Flinn being taken care of.
- Damn, that was close. - she says, but doesn't stay idle, and as she sees the druid gather the javelins and work on bringing one of the dolgrims back with them, she does her part searching the bodies for whatever might be useful. (Investigation: 16). When Jodie approaches, she pats the bard on the shoulder - Glad to see you in one piece, girl. Don't know about you, but I hereby promise that as soon as we reach Elora's manor, I'm gonna have the longest hot bath ever had in existence.
As she says this, and perhaps because Stafford is indeed idle, she is transformed into a female deep gnome.
The sorceress sighs. The staff whispers in her mind:"This is for your own good! That way we make sure you won't hit your head with the ceiling on your way out. And the dark skin will make you harder to be spotted."
I know it that RAW it won't make her harder to be spotted, but it's nice that the staff thinks so xD
PS: I did roll the investigation at advantage in case I could count with Jodie's help, but I got lower than my initial result.

Hewelathan agrees, "Yes. Let's get out of these accursed caves, and then we can find a place to rest and recover. Either just to catch our breath or maybe camp for the night before heading back to Tormere. I've lost track of time in here, and I don't want to be carting this thing," indicating the gibbering mouther, "into Tormere late at night."
I've lost track. Is this trip to the cave happening on the same day that we arrived in Tormere? Day 1 was at the Temple of Ilmater. Day 2 was trekking through the wilderness and the fight with the cultists. Day 3 was our arrival in Tormere and the meeting with Theodemar, but did we also make it all the way to the cave on Day 3? If so, it must be nearly dark by the time we get out of the cave. Of course, Hewelathan has other reasons for not wanting to sleep in Tormere multiple nights in a row.
I thought you guys spent the night at Lady Elora's mansion before the meeting with her uncle, so that would make this day 4. Either way, you're right that you're getting close to evening. It would probably be a good idea to find a safe spot to rest for a while.

Jodie speaks up, “Let’s get out the these caves. I will tend to my wounds better in the light. As long as there is nothing waiting for us outside the cave, let’s rest briefly before setting back for town.”
It sounds like the team have decided to get out of the cave and call it a night.
Searching the dead dolgrims, you find that each one had a shield, a hand crossbow, three spears, and a morningstar. They had 10 crossbow bolts each. If you look into the deep, dark pit, there's nothing of any real interest down there.
You manage to make it out of the cave with no further run-ins with monsters, and as you exit the sun is starting to go down. What would you like to do next?

Tytus is silent during the rest but he stays visible, although he would like to disappear as he feels ashamed. He hesitated to use more powerful magic and some of his comrades got hurt. He picks a book from his little chest and is studying it, to avoid interaction with others.

(OOC: how long was the journey from Tormere to the cave?)
If you all want to take a short rest, you can do so and amazingly enough nothing tries to murder you while you catch your breath.
After the group has recovered somewhat, Hewelathan is eager to find a place (not too close to the aberrant cave!) where they can camp for the night. Given the hour, he argues that it's better to camp outside the city. If they walked back to Tormere this evening, they probably wouldn't be able to drop off the gibbering mouther until tomorrow, and he wouldn't want to take the horrific creature at Lady Elora's mansion. He says that he'd rather camp in the wilderness here so that they can go straight to Theodemar tomorrow when they get to Tormere.
If that's what the group does, then once they find a place to take a long rest, Hewelathan casts goodberry to create a fresh batch of 10 berries.

Sensing his mood, Hewelathan claps Tytus on the shoulder (probably much harder than intended) as they finish their short rest outside the cave. But when he speaks, Hewelathan speaks quietly just to Tytus, "Hey! Good job in the there, Tytus. Thanks for leading us in and out. It was a tough hunt, but we got what we came for, and everyone made it out alive in the end."
(I'm just going to go ahead and assume you trek a couple miles from the aberrant cave and then take a long rest, as I'm not seeing any opposition).
After a bit of recovery, you walk into the woods for another hour or so before you make camp. (Dice sounds behind the DM screen) the night is thankfully uneventful, and you all wake up feeling invigorated.
(Go ahead and take your well-earned long rest and level-up).
What do you do next?
