Name: Garthan Praetoris Race & Class: Mountain Dwarn Abjuration Wizard Background: Folk Hero Brief Background or Personality Blurb:
A son of a well-known guard of high rank in a small border town in Karalor, Garthan was expected to follow in his father's footsteps. Much to his father's shame, Garthan failed to qualify due to his lacklustre strength to wield arms. Unfortunately, for a martial family like the Praetoris, the potential for magic, which Garthan had in drove, was deemed useless and a betrayal to their long ancestry of martial warriors. To hide his shame, Garthan's father disavowed Garthan, banished him from the town, and spread rumours of Garthan's death from his weak constitution and sudden illness.
Angry and betrayed, Garthan travelled away from Karalor into Eldoria, where it was rumoured that the land was filled with savages. His one goal was to become stronger and prove himself better than his father. However, much to his surprise, Eldoria was not quite as barbaric as Karalor propagandized. The people were diverse and kind -- welcoming. With the coins he brought, he managed to find some work and made his own home in this growing nation.
Though he felt content, Garthan still felt the drive to prove himself. This time, not for the sake of his father's approval, but for the nation he had come to like and love. His gratefulness to the King for allowing him to live in Eldoria and his new friends from his neighbourhood brought him to enlist to guard Eldoria. This is now his home too and he will defend it from the greedy and warmongering nations surrounding it -- to become a bulwark to Eldoria's enemies and a shield for Eldoria's livelihood.
Rerolling as well I guess, did not like that 5 ugh.

Name:Tom Brook Race & Class: Variant Human/ Wizard (Chronurgy Magic) Background: Astral Drifter Brief Backstory or Personality Blurb: I have long forgotten what I was in the past and just continue to survive. A core memory of my past is the fact that everything I have gone through so far is to become a wizard, but not just any wizard. Something much more. A wizard who can touch the flow of time. Something happened, and now I'm wandering endlessly, not knowing what time period I'm in. Or even in the same realm. The only thing I can do is survive as best I can.
Name: Karnash Race & Class: Goliath Monk Background: Pirate Brief Backstory or Personality Blurb: Karnash was raised by his Uncle in a nomadic community that was always on the move, or always on the run? Visits from local authorities seemed commonplace in his tribe. He longs for excitement, opting to spend his days exploring the wilds and engaging what nature provides rather than the comforts of indoors. He has a strong sense of honor and seeks to protect his tribe above all else. What better way to protect those he loves than enlisting in the King's army. Perhaps he could earn some respect for his tribe and clear the bad name associated with his family.
Stat Block should be STR13 CHA12 DEX17 WIS13 CON15 INT8 (Disclaimer: a 12 got changed to a 13 when i tried to edit my first post)

If you put the rolls in a quote box before you edit, it normally protects them from being rerolled like that. Another tip: the dice roller has a tab that will let you drop in all 6 abilities at once with a single click. Its the third tab, on the right. idk if you did use that, but with me it generally has all the rolls show up, so maybe something to try. It will even type the "Ability scores: " part for you

Race & Class: Human Warlock 2 / Sorcerer 1 Background: Criminal Brief Backstory or Personality Blurb:
Kell is the seventh son of the Sovereign of a conclave of mages. From birth he had been groomed for power, inked with tattoos meant to bolster his strength and trained in every aspect of the power that was his birthright. On the turn of his sixteenth birthday, he took part in the coming of age ritual that was supposed to unlock the power inside him. To the shock and dismay of his father, after the ritual was completed, he was still unable to access even a drop of magic. They tried everything to unlock it, strapping him to a table for days and casting every spell they could think of, no matter how vile, but the power was locked up tightly. He was shunned by those who once treated him with unearned respect. Unable to bear his failure, Kell stole a book from his father's lectern. In it, he discovered an ancient ritual designed to help one commune with a higher power. He set up the ritual in secret with the help of his familiar, Sandarial, but when he set it in motion he realized the magnitude of the mistake he had made. The spell forced him to peer beyond the veil, and the veil looked back. He pulled himself away from the spell and destroyed the circle, but the damage was done. His eyes were turned black as night, and he felt another nameless presence looking through them. His power was indeed unlocked, but it was twisted and tainted by whatever was behind the veil. Fearing retribution from his father and the conclave, he gathered his things and ran out into the night.
For two years he survived by begging, and when that failed stealing, avoiding using his magic. He wore a blindfold to hide his condition, seeing only through the eyes of his familiar. Eventually he was caught stealing one too many coins from a merchant's pouch. Instead of having his hand removed as was the law, he was forced to enlist in the army. Despite his apparent disability, they allowed him to prove his capability after lying about being a wizard. He has since seen no fighting, but he has a gut feeling that that could change any day....
Sorry, it's a little longer than I thought it'd be, I got carried away.
Shagrin was raised by his stone cutter father and home maker mother. He grew up admiring the shield bearers of the north and always swore he'd become one. When he became of age he joined the militia and became that which he so admired. He is stalwart and dedicated in his service.
Thank you my friend. I did not use the dice roller I just typed in a custom roll, 4d6rr1dl1 and then copy and pasted it so I had 6. As you can see I struggled with it so thank you for the advice.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Sounds very cool.

Name: Snigbat Race and class: Bugbear Rogue Background: Far Traveller Brief backstory: Snigbat has travelled far to reach Eldoria, having been exiled from his home for refusing to kidnap innocents. At first, he stayed around his homeland, sneaking around and sticking to the shadows, stealing to survive, however when his old friend spotted him, and tried to kill him for not sticking to his exile, he knew there was nothing left for him. He got on a boat and left. The boat was hit by a storm and broke apart, with Snigbat starting to sink before he lost consciousness. He awoke in a cage on the back of a cart in Eldoria, not knowing if he was even on the same plane. It turned out, he had been found by some guards who had no idea why he was there and if he was a threat to the land. In order to prove that he is not a threat, and show his willingness to help Eldoria if they allow him a home, he volunteered to join the army.
Hi! Your campaign sounds fun and interesting. I’d like to apply if you still haven’t finished your selection. I’m open to discuss details if I’m selected. This is a rough draft.
Character name: Rohan Winfield
Race/Class: Shifter (wildhunt) Rogue (Scout)
Background: Outlander
Backstory/Personality:
Rohan and his family lived in a town on the edge of the frontiers of Eldoria. They lived a self-sufficient life, hunting and gathering whatever they needed to survive. Not the most glamorous life, but they were happy.
When tension rose with the other kingdoms as the new ruler of Eldoria took power, his town was razed and destroyed by invading forces. Rohan managed to escape with the refugees, but his family disappeared. This event had a big impact on his perspective as he became disillusioned.
Not having anything else to his name and surrounded with the unknown, he did what he was good at: take what he needed to survive. In this case, it meant stealing. Eventually, he was caught by the guards. A guard captain took pity on him and offered him a choice: Rohan could either put his skills to good use and join the military, or he could return to petty thievery until he gets caught again and thrown into prison by a less sympathetic captain.
Rohan joined the army as a scout, which he was quite good at. Now he awaits his next deployment/mission.
