Chester follows him, thinking that he might have some idea of where to go. He gestures for the rest to follow, while giving a wave goodbye to the mayor
Azzad looks puzzled by "The Raven's" answer, but he strides after the Halfling and towards the Northern Path. As they grow closer to the outskirts of town, he begins to look for a trail that the bandits may have left behind.

As he catches up to the halfling, he looks down towards him with curiosity. "Have you hunted a man before, perian?"
Chester looks up at Azzad and says, "Typically I'm the hunted, so I'm more familiar in how to hide tracks instead of looking for them. How about you? You seem to be the hunter sort." As they're walking, Chester wants to keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zannan says that “This island can be very dangerous. We must be prepared. I will take up the rear and watch our backs.” Passive perception 10. Rolled perception 4
Azzad thinks about Chester's question for a moment. "Hm.. no. I have hunted many animals, but never man. My people have very few farino, what your kind call outlaws, so I have never had reason to."
He hears Zannan's warning, which piques his interest. As the group continues forward, his hand drifts down to the hilt of the scimitar at his side.
Huh. My dice roller isn't working, which is strange
I'm sorry about the delay. I just started a new term and upped my course load quite a bit. Once I get my routine figured out I will probably be able to post again, but it might be a week or two until I'm comfortable with everything. Sorry again. If you want to wait that's fine, if you want me to start a new campaign in a week or two, that's fine also. I'm loaded with fun campaign ideas. Whatever you guys want.
You walk on, the sun scorching your backs. This part of the island is dusty and dry. The Raven walks ahead of the pack, the sun casting a long shadow in front of him. The more you look at his contraption, the more confusing it becomes. It looks like wood and metal have shaped themselves into a twisted wand. But those of you with an attunement to the arcane feel nothing magical coming from it. A fork in the road looms in the horizon.

Zannan nods his head in greeting to Azzad.
Chester waves, then turns to the stranger with the strange contraption on their belt. "And what's your name sir?"
"Lyn'daran Hewssar " simply says the wood elf while they are introducing themselves.
