"Rest as you wish, but we shouldn't tarry here long. I propose we wait just until cover of night, and scout their position to catch them unawares." He looked expectantly to the others..
"I agree with Kyros. We shouldn't make camp here, just long enough to catch our breath, then hope to catch up to the rear guard before they alert any of their other friends."
You all agree to rest quickly (i.e. Short Rest, there's a button for it!) and camp briefly in the ravine. The hour or so passes without event, and the oncoming afternoon looms ahead of you just as your path to the south. Ted didn't remember how far away the rear guard was, but knowing it's there is a huge boon...
Please roll 2 each of a skill you are proficient in to begin traveling south again. Please describe your intent with your skill check and try not to make it something you used to get here. (May want to skim through notes and double check! We did that in person)
The afternoon sun begins to set as you come to a more defined road. After your skill checks please make survival checks or perception checks to look for tracks or noticeable signs of the rear guard.

As the party begins to rouse and hit the trail once more, Talien addresses his friends, "I'll keep my eyes out for some food, Archibald, care to assist?"
(OOC: I used Survival to track to the camp we're at now, so I am going to use Perception and Nature to try and hunt a bit for the party, and if Archibald comes with me, I'd like to chat with him a bit about myself and try and learn more about him as well -- Perception will be to find game, Nature will be to chat about my time as a Grove Sentry and whatnot as well as help with the actual hunting of the game).

As the party began travelling south once more in pursuit of their prey, Kyros made a visible effort at elevating his heart-rate. He did not so much sprint or jog away from the group, but instead meandered some distance behind the others in long, elaborated motions, to stress and flex and hone his physique. They had been hard pressed the past few days and he'd not found a decent time to properly train in their errand. He was sure the others must think him some kind of clown or buffoon as he pranced about, but such was the cost of Greatness!!
As the group moves on, Lias taps a quiet beat on her drum and tries out verses for "The Tale of Greenest." She will occasionally ask whoever is walking near her what they think of a verse, and if she should save it for "The Ballad of Kyros" instead.
Performance: 24, 12
Perception: 21
