Warren once again skulks off, the others following slightly behind him in the torchlight.
To Warren:
Ahead you find some more similar burial areas, and a passage that heads down to the next floor. There is more of this floor to look at beyond, but you can choose whether to carry on here, head down, or return to the group. You can hear the faintest echoing of noise in the passage headed down.
The party heads forward to find there is an opening that leads further down into another level of the crypts. Those with decent hearing (Passive Perception 12 or higher) can hear some faint echoes of noise coming from down there. It also appears that there is more of this floor to explore.
Either way, there is no sign of where Warren went.
To Warren:
You head further down along some long shallow stairs that twist slightly as they head deeper into the ground. You see some cobwebs showing the age and rare use of the lower levels. You arrive on a similar floor, with large open rooms. if you want to try and follow the noise, please can you make a Perception check.
Johann cleans out his ear with a finger then says, "I don't hear anything. You two hear anything? Nod if you do." He asks his animals, who both nod. "Must have something in my ears. Well, do you guys want to go down, or continue to search this floor?"

Warren, at the bottom of the stairs, attempts to hear out for the source of the noise. However, the echoes of his chatty friends upstairs seems to be a cacophony overriding the faint noises, meaning it is impossible for him to follow. He whistles up to them and they discuss more things.
Eventually, the group decides to follow Warren's whistle down the stairs to find him waiting for them at the bottom, another floor open for them to explore.
The group quietens down again. After a moment, those who could hear it before start getting the faint echo of the noise. (If people want to make Perception checks, feel free to)
Kithre creeps along as best she can with the rest of the group. "There is something, but what is it..." she mutters under her breath, straining to hear.

“Do you think that was a ‘approach carefully’ whistle or a ‘come quick, I’m being eaten by zombies’ whistle?”
”Wait! Could it have been a ‘I’ve been bitten, now I’m a zombie, come here so I can eat your brains’ whistle?!”
