There are 3 main entrances to the stockade; large double doors to the north, east and south. There are also two more ways in that involve flying or climbing - the lookout tower to the south of the complex and a large covered smoke-hole in the centre of the building that is over the large dinning area.
Under cover of darkness we set the pikes 100 yards or more beyond the north gate. So the display will be visible at first light.
As before we'll enter through the tower, as the gates not being exited by the Giants will surely be locked before we enter.
Sciathan flies up and perches on the edge of the tower roof briefly to investigate. The guards are probably more well prepared, if they are present at all.

There is a guard in the tower and this time he is awake and is constantly scanning the area around the stockade. Also, he stands with his hand on the pull rope for the warning bell.
"Fah'lin," asks Thar, "did Sciathan by chance see an area of the stockade wall that would be in a blind spot from the tower? I now have the ability to make a passage that could perhaps get us in without alerting the guard."
Most of the stockade is in a blind spot of the tower. You know from Arya's scouting on your first trip that the western side is kitchen, storerooms and barracks for the working stiffs. From what you saw of the east side that's where the leadership and soldiers live.
"Let's go for it." Fah'lin approaches the wall and get ready to enter through the magical passage, out of sight of the tower into the gate nearest to the military half of the complex. Once inside he tries to un-bar the door to facilitate their potential escape
(OOC: Hello all. My son was born today, so posting will probably be scarce if at all until Monday or so. What with pictures, family, doctors, and of course caring for the mother and a newborn. I just thought I'd let you all know before i went completely silent for a day or 2.
DM feel free to pilot Tarnce until I am able to post again)

You go in through the north gate (which is the one furthest away from the furore causes by the heads on spikes). It is a massive L shaped courtyard; to the west you see a door and about 180 feet to the south east you see double doors leading into complex. There are rooms to your east but from your current position you can't see any doors that way.

My best wishes to you and the family. Enjoy them while they are young for the grow up so fast.

"The passage is good for an hour," say Thar and then to Arya, "Would you mind doing a little scouting to see what else this courtyard may contain. I'm happy to provide some Invisibility if you would like."

"Cool!" Arya disappears from Thar's spell "Wait 5" she says.
After a time "BOO!" and some giggles "Seriously though, I think that the dire wolves usually have the run of this area. There are a lot of tracks and chewed up bones. Over to the east is a set of doors leading into a set of rooms, as usual too damn heavy for me to open. To the west is a door with the sound of giant voices behind it, if I had to guess I'd say lady giants. To the south are more double doors leading into the main area of the stockade. I could peak through a crack and could see a could of soldier giants standing guard there."
"I like it just for the principle of the thing."

There is a guard in the tower and this time he is awake and is constantly scanning the area around the stockade. Also, he stands with his hand on the pull rope for the warning bell.
Sciathan lifts off and circles overhead. He dives to catch a squirrel. (Nothing suspicious here)
When he reports what he found, Fah'lin asks if anyone can Silence the bell.

Tarnce can cast Silence, is it in range?

"Nothing doing here, I'm afraid," says Gijigume, "but if there's one up there, there's one less on the ground."
"Fah'lin," asks Thar, "did Sciathan by chance see an area of the stockade wall that would be in a blind spot from the tower? I now have the ability to make a passage that could perhaps get us in without alerting the guard."
OOC Thar can now cast Passwall
Fah'lin shrugs "I'll ask him."
(And by him I mean Les =P )

"South I'd say."
