I'm back from my vacation and have read the posts from while I was away. A belated welcome to Tarnce. I must say Thar has done some unusually brave things.
Thar is keen for a long rest to replenish his spells. He is happy for the various items to go to whomever can best use them for none (maybe the bracers) seem worth given up what he already has.

Welcome back (hands back the reigns of Thar with a bow). He went a level while you where away and I took a couple of 4th level spells for him. Review and revise if you wish.
You have a restful sleep in the cave. Hit points and spell slots recovered, spell lists tweaked for the vampire to come. Have you worked out what the answer is to the last riddle?
”Of no use to one Yet absolute bliss to two. The small boy gets it for nothing. The young man has to lie for it. The old man has to buy it.“
Tarnce says a quick prayer then looks to the northern passage.
Perception + Guidance: 13 + 2
It goes on for a time then comes to a door. Locked, untrapped and more than enough to drive Arya insane. She cannot open it no matter how many guidance spells you may cast.
Tarnce says another prayer, for Guidance and for passage. And he will try to Dispel Magic the aura on the door.
Dispel Magic roll: 17 + 1
(Please don't be a 9th level Arcane Lock XD )
Click. You open the door and see
Five flesh golems are clustered against the north wall. Each has a number on its chest: 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13. Number 5 says, “One of us does not belong with the others. If you can pick it out we will allow you passage. If you pick the wrong one, we will kill you. You have sixty seconds.”
DM: as this is play by post and you all live across multiple time zones ‘60 seconds’ is a difficult concept to manage. One post each then someone has to answer. Or if you think you know it then make a declarative statement.
Oh and for future reference, it’s never a good idea to make a suggestion on how the DM can screw you over.

(I really think I know the answer but I want to let everyone get their say in because 1. I could very well be wrong. And 2. This is a co-operative game after all. But my (Tarnce's) guess is that 9 does not belong. 5, 7, and 11 are prime numbers. 9 is not.)
(And DM, good advice, I was more just being optimistic and hoping an 18 was good enough.)

Eider, Level 13 Human Abjurer Wizard - Colosseum of Conquest (11W-3L) (Tougher than he looks)
Fah'lin stands ahead of the party ready to dodge any attack. "You'd not be the first to die trying, but we'll spare you today. Nine doesn't belong with a series of primes."

The golems step aside allowing you to exit out the far side. The corridor winds on for about 100’ until it comes to a stone platform in a large natural cave. Opposite the entrance in the distance is another stone platform. Between them, a series of wooden disks is suspended from the ceiling by massive steel chains. The cave floor seems to be covered by a pool of boiling mud.
As you watch a huge geyser erupts from the mud. Being on a swinging platform when that happens is a REALLY BAD THING.
Three, of which you’ve used none so far.
Hi all,
I'm back from my vacation and have read the posts from while I was away. A belated welcome to Tarnce. I must say Thar has done some unusually brave things.
Thar is keen for a long rest to replenish his spells. He is happy for the various items to go to whomever can best use them for none (maybe the bracers) seem worth given up what he already has.
Aeliarin will take the bracers if bracers + Mage Armor is an improvement on his current AC.
(OOC: Are we back at the parties camp long resting or are we still in the room with the crab?)

Outside and camped. Long rest for all. Bracers to Aeliarin, luck stone to Gijigume and goggles to Arya.
Thar has the captured spell book so may wish to redo memorised spells.
You have a restful sleep in the cave. Hit points and spell slots recovered, spell lists tweaked for the vampire to come. Have you worked out what the answer is to the last riddle?

Fahlin approaches the barrier and asks "Kiss?"

The barrier drops. The corridor runs to the north east then splits; one goes to the south and the other to the north.
Tarnce says a quick prayer then looks to the northern passage.

"Stand back, I may have a solution." Tarnce will ritual cast detect magic, and focus on the door.

Very strong Abjuration magic.
Tarnce says another prayer, for Guidance and for passage. And he will try to Dispel Magic the aura on the door.
