(Just role-playing this sorry. Saw in inventory that bursting a rope is a Dc 17 strength check)
I'm totally ok with this. The party you're trying to eat, probably not so much. Gramgran strains against the rope, but she is unable to break her bonds.
"So, what do with do with Gramgran? I'd be fearful that she'd gnaw through any ropes we tied her up with, and I don't have any restorative magic... Maybe the druid will know of a cure?"
Vah'Lhorn starts to look through the dwelling that the zombies came out from, checking for anything of interest or clues to what started the zombie-ism... He makes sure to enter with his shield at the ready!
Vah'Lhorn enters "The Brown Horse" and quickly realizes this used to be an old tavern. Nothing else in the building stirs or tries to eat him. The door on the west wall leads into a storeroom. The ale barrels have been here for some time and you can assume the ale went bad by now, but there is a small rack of wine bottles sealed and covered in cobwebs.
Gramgran is able to wriggle a bit closer to Kim, but is unable to move more than a few feet before Vah'Lhorn's return. Kim believes she may have heard Gramgran groan out "brains."
Yuri scans the pathway leading south from the current location (3) and sees a dilapidated building. Beyond that is a branch in the pathway. Yuri assumes the dilapidated building is a continuation of the cottages with the twig blights.
"I think we should head left on the fork up ahead, it seems to take us more central to these ruins. I know not where a druid would likely choose to take up residence." So saying, Vah'Lhorn heads off down the fork, unless anyone else offers an alternate suggestion.
((OOC - @ Kyle - Vah'Lhorn will go the the buildings in the following order: 6, 9, 8, (through the ruin to) 13, 12, 11, 10. In his efforts to find the druid. If the building clearly is unoccupied, he will bypass it for the moment, so long as it is feasible. Vah'Lhorn will be very conscious of the need to try and help Gramgran, so finding the druid will take priority over anything except self-defense. @Moistbooks - if you want to do anything differently, happy to go along with that))

Vah'Lhorn and Yuri leave Kim and hungry Gramgran in search of the druid. As you two approach the fork, you will be able to see building 4. This small house appears to be in better condition than the ruined and dilapidated structures you have encountered so far. The doors are reinforced with heavy iron bands, and thick shutters protect the windows. I assume that would pique the interest of Vah'Lhorn and Yuri, but they pass up the house for the moment.
Building 6 is near the middle of the village. To the north is a narrow lane winds up the steep hillside to the north. Directly to the south is a ruined building (6) that might have been a store or workshop. Webs stretch across the lane, from the building to the trees on the north side of the road. A lot of webs, clearly untouched for some time.
You both continue on to building 9. Another dilapidated structure. This ruined shop is cluttered with sagging storage shelves and broken furniture. Shards of glass and pieces of pottery glint in the weeds and rubble next to rotted books and casks. A quick look finds nothing that appears to be a druid.
Building 8 is still mostly intact. A wide chimney and rotted piles of firewood jumbled outside the walls of this sagging building suggest that it was a smithy in its day. The windows are dirty but you two move in, wipe some dust away and can see two bodies on the floor. They appear dead and unmoving.
"Yuri. Bodies!" Vah'Lhorn moves cautiously forwards, looking for signs of zombies or the strange twig blights. He attempts to reach the bodies and undertakes a quick Investigation (18) of them for causes of death and any useful items.
As this is all she wants to do at the moment, Gramgran continues to struggle to break her bonds and attack Kim. Every minute or so she’s gathering her little strength to break free.

So five to ten minutes into this Gramgran breaks out and attacks Kim. ((OOC Feel free to come back to this when you feel it’s been enough time DM. And Kim, Gramgran only has 1hp, just saying if it helps.))
Vah"Lhorn notices that these bodies are similar to the zombies they encountered just 10 minutes beforehand, but these are covered in much more dust. Both give me a stealth check because I assume you're trying not to be loud and draw attention.
(OOC Do I need to take damage from that bite?)

No, Kim was able to rush over and help protect you from hungry Gramgran.

"I will stay with Gramgran to make sure her restraints stay strong and we don't lose her before you find this druid. Good luck!"
Kimberly finds a rock to use as a stool and sits to watch Gramgran.
Gramgran
With such a tasty morsel nearby, Gramgran tries to break through the ropes constantly, or to wiggle closer to Kim.

Yuri keeps his distance from Gramgran, her snapping her jaws together like that and looking at everyone like a tasty snack...
"Ok, let's find this druid. Maybe we start by trying to find those tree... people... things..."
Yuri scans his eyes about trying to catch hide or hair of them.

Yuri nods in agreement, "Me either, but we likely shouldn't take too long."
As they turn to leave, he turns to Kim to add, "If Gramgran gets loose, if more zombies appear, you need to do something to get us back here."
Gramgran
Getting more tired as she continues to struggle, Gramgran weakly attempts to break out of the ropes, but barely manages a wiggle.
