"Oh, you poor dear." The acolyte says rising and kneeling next to you to hug you in comfort.

If you would ... be okay if I could stay here and with my skills be able to volunteer here? In return of my room and board of course. “Was just a slip on my friends part, we usually are.” She gave Grim a very forceful smile. It’d be best if they didn’t get attacked because one of them outed what they were to a bunch of…simple creatures like these. “Blood pudding’s common in your home?” She asked the strange squatter humanoid, still not sure what exactly he was. Learning some more about his kind wouldn’t hurt.
as they talked, she watched Yesphira from the corner of her eye. It wasn’t the first time she’d seen a hag make a deal, but it was always a curious thing to watch. Her kind were less magical compared to the others and some of their abilities truly fascinated her.
Dallan nods, "Sure. We're on top of 'em, the mountains or under them, mostly. Some folk never see the sun. We have some pretty stout goats. We get hair, milk, and blood from the livestock. There's also some under dwelling beasts we harvest, but they're not seen in the sun."
The acolyte nods, "let me speak with the rector. You'll be put to work, I'm sure, but it's a comfortable enough stay for a bit."
Should you agree, they'll leave the room.
"Really?" they sit up straighter then nod. "Oh that would be great. I can't thank you enough; that is perfect."Francis waits for the acolyte to leave while they inspect the rest of the church, just sort of wandering.
((Perception: 1 :( ))
They end up ramming into a pillar that they didn't see was there. Ow.
Yesphira turns her attention to the others at the table with her. "Apologies Belgama, Grim. Just finishing a little business. How are you both? Do you remember how you got here? I seem to have had a little too much indulgence and don't rightly recall."
You hear these conversations between Belgama and the mortals at the table and the contract struck between Yesphira and the bar wench, Hags, honestly, and you can sense your new companions are at least as ravenous as you are.
The elf sitting at the table is curious, the squat fellow - dwarf - is intrigued, the human is bored and annoyed with his companions, the half-elf is anxious.
The bar wench, another half-elf, is excited and concerned. She's not sure what she's getting into. She wants to believe this is just wondrous good luck.
Your light bonding with those two mortals has given you a bit of information about the area. You are in a mortal city called Sharn. Your in a district called Stoneyard in a ward called Northedge in the Lower belt. Though oddly enough there are two belts below this and three above. However, what is key, is you know know the University Bix mentioned is about two hours walk from here through this ward and Central Plateau and up two levels. You might be able to get a coach or rail to Central Plateau and from there to Menthis.
You may need to nick or purchase a parasol from one of the various vendors on the street just outside the park.
Yeah, that would have really smarted, if you were a typical mortal, luckily, you know how to act this out so well, it comes naturally, rubbing your face and looking around.
In time the rector and acolyte find you. They show you to a small room and give you a key. They give you a schedule of meals, lessons and services. They also ask you to deliver a package to the Clifftop Adventurer’s Guild - the CAG - in Upper Dura. They give you a map.

She through for a moment before answering Yesphira. “Bix just kinda sent us all out with his portal. Not even sure we all ended up in the same place. Honestly, suprised there are as many of us here as there are.” She has an envious look as she spoke next, eyes flickering between Yesphira and the half-elf she made a contract with. “As for me…I’m starving for a special kind of meal.”

"Thank you. I don't deserve all this..."Francis says or something else along those lines to most of the offerings given. 'Meals,' they think, 'funny.'Their boots squeak across the tile. "Clifftop Adventurer's Guild?"Francis shuffles nervously while standing.
They look up to the two waiting. "Okay, I'll try." With a small nod and "thank you",they venture out the doors of the cathedral and into the street. "They trust me this early?" they mumble. 'Well okay then,' they respond in their thoughts. Scanning the place while heading towards the two bridges, they realize they really do need a meal. 'Don't want to deliver a package on an empty stomach.'

“Likewise, shall we?” He has an impatient look on his face. “I still feel really uncomfortable in this.” He slightly side eyes the annoyed human. He snaps back into focus. “Should we get to the university after?”
Yesphira nods, "It takes a little getting used to, doesn't it? We can toddle along to the university and stop along the way for snacks? You might find a broader selection to tickle your fancy." Yeshira gives a wry smile at this last statement.
You have opportunities to grab a meal in one of the many alleys. ((Mechanically, make a stelth roll - DC10 - and an attack roll - DC5 - for a commoner.))
He had offered to act as tour guide, chaperone, tagalong.
Belgama waving for the others to follow finally makes her way out of the tavern. “Enough talking about it or we’ll be stuck here all day. And we even have a guide, right Dallas? You can show us where the university is.” And to herself she thought, if they get too hungry while making their way over, there’s already plenty of food right there with them just waiting to be tasted.
Yesphira finishes a few more mouthfuls of the food on the plate brought to her, but doesn't really enjoy much of it. Then rises to leave the tavern with the others and gives a nod to Dallas, "Thank you, master dwarf, for being our guide in this beautiful city."

After hitting their head on the pillar, though it didn't hurt as much, seems to throw them off their game a little for sneaking. Narrowing their eyes, they slide into one of the alleyways. They take on a form of the boot vendor, shaking into this new form like a dog. They admire their work in front of them with an outstretch of hands.'Wouldn't fight me then double cross for you now my friend.'They can't really think of a good name for him (never asked for a name except for their own), so Gemini goes back to being Gemini. Names came and went as the wind.
Whispering, they cast thaumaturgy to have the sound of a wolf howl come from somewhere nearby and then Macabrecadabra to spread the whiff of decay through the alley. They pretend to startle.
"Hey!" they call out to someone in the street, "did you hear that?" They clutch their holy symbol.
The grough older man says, "What if I did? Too scared to check for yourself, huh? Common move it." And he begins ushering you into the alley like an unrepentant bully.

Dallan waves off the praise, "think nothing of it. The moment this one popped into a seat at the table, I knew I was dun fur."
"This way", and he begins leading the group though the district pointing out the odd point of historical or communal significance.
