You wait. I can help. Keep away from them, make sure clutch is not lost.
He seems to have a plan to help get one of, if not both of them out. (If you want me to explain OOC, I can do, or you can ask Kr'Kakkak what his plan is)
(OOC: I could do with some distance references and perhaps a layout of the buildings nearby. Also change Psychic Focus to Diminution)
Kr'Kakkak projects a plan into the heads of the others. One that uses him as a method to help one of the two to escape.
Kr'Kakkak change size. Become small like desert beetle. Hard to find, small and quiet. Throw up onto roof, we travel to side, use mind to swap location, make Sartaj appear on the roof, and Kr'Kakkak appear there. Use power to disappear, flee in small form. Regroup with you after.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Darok looks at the templars and the coming half-giants, turns to his big friend, back to the half-giants...
“Ok.. you do that... AAAARRGGGHH!!!” He yells turning away from the templars and discharging his frustration on the wounded half-giant as he passes by and runs.
Sorry about that having an issue using my mouse with my broken finger.
I ll write it for you.
So
To the east of your group stretches the street for 400 feet and it ends up on a square with a dried out fountain. To your west, the street goes for 200 feet before finishing into a small but tumultuous elven market.
The lone half-giant is to the west and kneeling 60 feet from you. The rushing guards are to the East and 100 feet from where you are. Your friend and mentor are 250 feet to the east and surrounded.
There are side streets but they are narrow and you don't know where they lead. Most end up in deadends but you can't be sure which. Also, the roofs surrounding you are flat and you can usually walk on them, ( thief highway ) but they aren't thick or well cared for. A few of them have been patched up with canvasses.
Plan to save them. Will meet you if I succeed. Keep the clutch alive.
OOC: Okay, so this is the plan, ref.
Kr'Kakkak can use Diminution: Miniature Form to become a tiny sized creature, granting him bonuses to Stealth checks and probably making traversing along the thief highway easier. Using Nomadic Step: Step of a Dozen Paces to teleport onto the highway and rush along the rooftops towards where the mentor is. Setting up a Nomadic Step: Nomadic Anchor on the rooftop, out of sight of the path, Kr'Kakkak can then use his Telepathy to tell the mentor that he is about to teleport her away and to accept the magic. Finally, using Nomadic Step: Transposition to swap locations, and a final Nomadic Step: Step of a Dozen Paces to teleport to the set anchor out of sight.
It would leave Kr'Kakkak on the roof with the mentor. It would cost probably 10 Psi Points (2 + 2 + 1 + 3 + 2) overall, so most of my juice for the day, and has plenty to go wrong with it.

Resalla agrees with this plan looking to the others to continue along the escape path past the solo giant. If there’s time before she runs she sends one more bolt of lightning into the Giant prior to taking a bonus action dash.

I'm flexible with it. If you'd rather keep the party in the dark, it would be interesting. Hopefully I'll get to come back to the chat sometime, losing a character immediately after the starting scenario would be a bad sign for the campaign :-)
The half giant falls dead or unconscious and the mantis psionc seems to dissappear. The way is clear to the elven market.
One of the guards rushing toward you stops and starts look g around for some hidden foe. After a few. Seconds he joins the others in chasing your group.
The half giants are tall and cover a lot of ground but you have a head start.
Seeing the rapid progress of the half giants Keaz pauses for a moment to let the others get a little way ahead and then presses a hand to the ground, the magma part of his being flows out, churning the stone and dirt of the street and changing it into burning magma, the rock alters in a growing circle from Keaz but he seems unaffected by the heat the others can feel coming from the ground. Once the diameter is about 20' the genasi turns and sprints away towards the market.
OOC uses racial ability Melt Stone. Anyone entering the space takes 2d6+3 fire damage.

Yep. I might want to do it in private. Just to keep the suspense going.
Is that OK with everyone?
If you prefer I can do it in Spoiler. Also, you ll only be able to save one of them right
