Valagan' Fire Bolt hits Jackal 1 but it seems to not be less effective then you would have thought.
Jackal 1 responds by pointing at Valagan and casting Finger of Death.
DC 17 con save or 51 (51 in case it changes) necro damage half on a success.
Therkis ducks behind his companions before piping out and shooting Jackal 1 chipping a bit of the stone. You also feel your attack was not effective as it could have been.
Aelar presses Jackal 1 smashing into it hard then swinging his shield around knocking it over and smashing it again.
Jackal 1 is bloody.
Jackal 2 casts lighting bolt at Leif and Therkis.

ACTION- since Aelar is engaged with Jackal 1, I will SNEAK ATTACK Jackal 1. I rolled a 16 (+9) = 25 to hit. I rolled a 1 (+5) = 6 damage plus SNEAK ATTACK damage of 19 points for a total of 25 points of damage.

Therkis sneaks in for a solid blow before doing a back roll out of the way.
Aelar moves up and smashes the Jackal in the leg bringing it down to its knees. Using his shield knocks it onto its back then crushes it's head with his follow on attack.
