A creature hit by the arrow takes an extra 2d6 psychic damage, and must succeed on a WIS saving throw (DC 12) or be unable to see anything farther than 5 ft. away until the start of your next turn.

After he fires, he moves to an area where he is far enough away from all wolves, but still within range for his longbow attacks.
To be clear, one Dire wolf just pulled itself of of being stuck to a tree by Ian ‘s arrow. One Dire wolf dead. One Dire wolf running away. The leader of the pack still stuck in a web.
We are back to the top of our initiative order.

Boghadair kills the giant Dire wolf with an arrow to her head. The remaining Dire wolf turns and runs off. As you all take a closer look at the huge female, you notice that her belly is moving quite a great deal for a dead beast.

Thagakh takes out both his waterskin and the soap handed to him by Tyrus as he washes his hands thoroughly.
He then tries to carefully open the dire wolf's stomach with his sharp nails while his hybrid form persists to salvage what seems to be moving inside its body before it's too late.
I don't know what skill check should be used here. I'll leave it to the DM to roll in case it needs one.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ian joins Thagakh with the female Dire wolf. “Do you think it is pregnant or there is something alive in her stomach? If there is a pup, I would be interested in raising it.” He squats down to see if he can help cut it out with his knife. 11
Out of the belly of the Dire wolf, the two of you are able to retrieve three dire wolf pups. There is a white female, a black male, and a dead grey pup with both genders. The two live pups look healthy and probably within a week or so of their natural birth. The mother of the pups was almost twice the size of the other dire wolves that she attacked the group with earlier. Her coat is a brindle collar with black, white, and grey stripes. It is about 2 hours until sun up.
Thagakh washes his hands and wipes off his sweat after the nerve wracking event of delivering dire wolves. He then dries the bodily fluids from the pups using his piece of a banner before returning to his bedroll.
"Thagakh will leave the decision on the pups to you Ian since Thagakh still needs a few hours of sleep. Nighty night."
Ian takes the two live pups and cleans them. He feeds them from his rations. After tending to their needs, he places them wrapped in an extra robe of his within the wagon. He buries the grey pup and skins the mother to save her coat. Lastly any meat, bones, claws, or teeth that can be saved from the mother or other dead dire wolves, he preserves for later uses. “Does anyone mind if I raise these pups? I think that they could be great hunting allies someday. If they cause us problems, I will kill them myself.”
