Knight: only one recognized pantheon of the 4 Sister Godesses as stated. NO content sharing. Ypu have submit a character builder PC into the campaign on site. If you've got it use it, if you don't it's whatever is available with the basic site and my campaign guide.

Apologies for any confusion. I understand that only the four deities are allowed. My question was if a domain such as Grave or Forge, not printed in the SCAG, would be permitted under the auspices of one of those four.

Knight domain choice is up to you but it should always fit the diety IMO. If you have it available to you and cam choose it via character builder which I can then manage through the campaign.
Looking for 1 new Caster or Shepherd. PLEASE read the submission post #1 before contacting. You're not expected to read all posts. You will be given a brief summary based on characters class choice! Thanks!!

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Edit:I think I'm out. Thanks for the fascinating read though! I caught up on some of the play thread, and it looks intricate and fascinating, but is probably too complex for me to engage with properly right now. An amazing piece of world building. I see, too, that my character proposal doesn't fit in a number of ways I wasn't clear about from the intro/recruiting post. Very cool stuff though.
Here goes:
Meli Edysan Level: 2 Warlock (The Celestial)/Female Variant Human Folk Hero
Backstory: When she was little, Meli felt a call to the Light, but when she was finally old enough, and went to join the Sisters of Mercy, she was rejected for her innate magical talents. Instead of the life of service she imagined, she was sent to the camps. Meli has made a reputation for herself, quietly, in the camps, as a healer who will help anyone, casters included. She hides her gifts with an herbalism kit, and her magical talent for disguise, but heals using the light granted her by the Celestial. She believes in fairness and goodness, but hates the Empire and Aurelian, and dreams, secretly, of overthrowing him, maybe even of having a place in the resulting world order. She is kind, but very confident, willing to break the rules for what she sees as the best good. As she advances in level, I anticipate her becoming less a healer and more bellicose, as her ambitions for revolution increase.
Name: Maele(Pronounced Mail-uh) Bloodscale(Hides last name, gives name of Helder)
Class/Race: V-Human Sorcadin 8(4 Paladin of the Crown, 4 Draconic Sorcerer)
Background: Criminal(rebel)
Alignment: Lawful Good
Backstory: Maele was born into a family of insurgents, the Bloodscales, a group of nearly cult-like worshippers of dragons that sought to overthrow the current rulers of Talamh and replace the four sister goddesses with Garyx(Garyx is the chaotic evil dragon god of fire, destruction, and renewal)(They were kind of like extremely discount Cult of the Dragon). Everyone in the group was related, and they indoctrinated their young in their ways from day one, and they believed that they were descended from Garyx himself. The leaders, Maele's grandmother and grandfather, were foolish, overconfident, and just a touch senile. They thought that they would be able to overthrow the Empire, if only they were a bit larger. Okay, a lot larger. Okay, a ton larger. Like I said they were pretty overconfident. They sent men out to gather more followers, whispering in the ears of citizens, and posting anonymous flyers. However, the common people, afraid of what the Empire would do to them after what they did to the casters, reported the men, and one of them was quickly captured. The man was weak, and gave away the location of the Bloodscales' hideout after losing only three fingers. The torturer, grumpy that his fun hadn't lasted as long as he would have liked, put an end to the rebel, despite his promises of otherwise. The Bloodscales' hideout was swiftly raided, and every single rebel slain, except for one. A young child that had hidden in a crawlspace that no one had thought to look. Her name was Maele. Maele was not like the others, she did not accept the indoctrination of her parents like the others, and instead sought something else, something other than hiding, and scheming, all her life. She had resolved that she would escape from the clutches of the Bloodscales, and live a life without ever looking back. Her way out had appeared earlier than she would have thought, in the form of the bloodied swords of the Shepherds of Truth. She felt no regret for her kin, and left them behind forever, after the Shepherds had left. Or so she thought.
She did not know what to do, where to go, afterward, since she had never known anything but rebel life. She thought of the Shepherds, the way their swords flashed as they cut through her brothers, and sisters, and aunts, and uncles. She was in awe of the way the paladin slashed down upon her grandfather, his sword gleaming with divine power. She wanted to be able to do that, she wanted to be a part of the noble ranks of the Shepherds of Truth. And so she followed them, and eventually came upon a temple. She entered, wondering at the intricate scenes on the stained glass windows, instead of the dull brick walls of the cellar that the rebels held their meetings in. The ornate marble pillars, instead of more dull brick. The shining, polished floor, instead of even more dull brick. She saw all this, and knew, This is where I belong. She joined in worship of the Sister Goddesses, and stayed as a faithful member of the temple's clergy for a long time. But eventually she grew bored of it. She longed to be able to wield both her faith and her blade in conjunction, cutting down evil men and slaying vicious monsters. She enquired about this, and learned where she could join the Shepherds and become a loyal paladin under the crown. She did so, and trained as a paladin for a long time, growing in her skill and her faith. But one day, she discovered something that might mean the end of it all.
A small patch of scales on her arm. She had no idea what it was, but she knew something was wrong. Then she remembered the stories she was told in her youth, of how she was descended from a great dragon-god. She thought that it was just hogwash, but it seemed that there might have been a ring of truth to it. Soon more spots began to appear, and she had no idea what to do. Then other things began to show up. She could do magic. Not divine magic, but actual arcane magic. She realized that if others found out, she would be dead. She excused herself from the slaying of monsters and killing of outlaws, and instead took up a spot in a detention camp, where she could hopefully stop her magic without interruptions. Unfortunately nothing she was doing was working. She was becoming the very thing she loathed. Her magic grew and grew, and she could not stop it. She began to wear scarves, cloaks, and other concealing clothing in an attempt to hide her magic. Even now her magic grows, and she doesn't know how to stop it.

Understood. If that part is left out, is the rest OK? Or would you prefer a fuller backstory, along the lines of XGtE tables?
Still looking for a clerics as well as people who read things before posting apps, please apply CLERICS only.

I realize that they would not let in a sorcerer, her powers only manifested after she became a Shepherd and she is attempting to keep them secret.
