Amaruve's coil sparks and glows, then fires four white hot Scorching Ray, hitting 12 (adv. 19) for 8, 10 (adv. 20) for 6, 24 (adv. 18) for 4, and 12 (adv. 17) for 10 fire damage. Draining 13 from Amaruve's power.
(I'm not sure if the above statement about advantage applied here.)
(Just because Ru commented yesterday on how many dice I roll)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(It does indeed)
3 burning rays of fire burst from Caspian's copper lance and strike the hornet, completely unawares (rolling added sneak attack damage for AP: 4), dealing 30 damage total.
The hornet rolls away from Caspian, clearly in bad shape. Black smoke roils from its vents, and it spins to land heavily (but on its feet) looking upward at the other ships. The cockpit slides open, and a figures steps out. It cocks its head, regarding you all.
Just then...
Cordelia (BD, if you're playing for her, feel free to jump in here):
Cordelia, you hear a voice chuckle in your mind as time slows down. "Well, well. It's little Cordelia. You survived after all. Tell me, where is the professor, Cordelia? He isn't in this plane; I would have felt him. Did you lose him, little Cordelia?" The voice pauses as Duncan continues its slow motion pursuit of the hornet on the boulder below. "Ahhhhhh. I see. Gone, then. He sacrificed himself to save you. That's a shame. He wasn't entirely unskilled." The voice chuckles again. "Do you even know what you're doing, little Cordelia? Do you have anything like a plan, or are you just taking leap after leap until... what, exactly?"
(Roll WIS save at disadvantage, Luna!)
Perspicacious:
Perspicacious, time slows down and you hear a dissatisfied grunt in your mind. "The office manager is here, too? YOU, I cannot believe survived." It makes a sound of surprise. "Do you have a monkey behind you? No, wait." You feel the attention of the voice move away from you for a moment. "Toss me, it's that horrible druid who was always going on about the park. How many people did Gordra damn alongside himself?" The voice sighs. "Very well. I'll offer you a deal, office manager. Fly back to that island and wait two days. The portal will appear, and we won't do anything to stop it. Test me, though..."
(Roll WIS save at disadvantage, Perspicacious!)
The figure spins a long wooden staff nearly as long as a boat pole and stamps it on the boulder it stands upon. Suddenly, a shining portal, precisely like those that you have leapt through however many dozens of times, surrounds it. When it disappears, an after-image of everything it touched: the figure, the ship, and the boulder they stood upon begin to shrink and fade away:
Cordelia, you don't stare for very long, because you have found yourself on the receiving end of dominate person. Your precise movements aren't being controlled, but you are compelled to fly Duncan straight down for one minute.
Cordelia and Jean plummet into the clouds below as the rogue urges the steam skipper further and further downward into darkness.
(Should Perspicacious fail, she will be compelled to fly Caspian straight upwards for one minute).
Kyo and Tony, I believe your rockboat turns the corner just in time to see the mysterious figure disappear and your comrades scatter. From your speaking stone on the dash, you hear a startled gasp, then you see Ariel zoom upwards after Perspicacious. Taesn shouts, "Cat! Tony! Get Duncan out of those clouds before they're eaten!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“On it!” With that, Tony leaps off the rock of safety into the dark abyss below. Tony begins plummeting toward the ship, allowing himself to relax as the wind rushes by him. With a flip, Tony starts spinning toward a floating rock, springboarding off of it as the ground beneath him shimmers with light, Acrobatics: 17, and leaps off another, to another, to another. Soon, Tony is rocketing toward the plummeting skipper, “Sorry, big guy! I’m pulling the emergency brake! Badaboom!” He winds up a punch and slams into the hull of the skipper, as orange light pulses along the body of the skipper, Attack: 14 Damage: 6 bludgeoning damage (Inspiration: 13). Tony Stunning Strikes Duncan! He then tries to land on the largest open space on the skipper.
Amaruve slaps Prespicacious across the face trying to snap her out of it, as she continues to fly he bites her arm dealing 0 piercing damage. (possibly effecting a save)

Tony, impossibly, manages to wall jump down into the cloud the rest of the party sees what follows.
Tony, Jean, and Cordelia (everyone else, feel free to read if you like, but realistically, no one else would see it happen):
Tony, you strike Duncan, which stalls its engine (for less than 10 seconds). Its wings spread reflexively and it jolts as its descent slows considerably.
Cordelia and Jean are still in Duncan, but his controls have momentarily jammed up from Tony's strike. Jean, I need your command to Cordelia!
Tony, your hear a lumbering growl behind you (Roll perception, then a Dex save, T!)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tony, Jean and Cordelia (same rules as above):
You notice a shadow, only slightly darker than the clouds surrounding you, reflected in the glass of Duncan's cockpit. Too late, you turn to see something horribly like an enormous eel slide out of the clouds as it races downward, matching your descent. Arcs of electricity corruscate along its surface and between its fins, and it opens a 100% horrifying maw to belch a bolt of lightning in your direction.
lightning jolt: 17 lightning damage (Tony takes half (reflex save); Duncan takes full (stunned); Cordelia and Jean (insulated) take half
The giant lightning eel roars, and Gang- it looks hungry.
(EDIT: cocked up damage dice; didn't alter for nefarious purposes!)
Jean leveled the Tower Blade at Cordelia and cried out "Resist!"
(Yeah, that'll do it)
(BD- Cordelia has an opportunity to regain control of herself- One more WIS save with advantage! If she succeeds (DC 12 this time), what does she do when Duncan wakes back up? Hint-hint: she'll want to roll maneuvers, whatever she does)
Tony just looks at it, “Huh. Giant eel... not the weirdest thing to happen to me toDAAA-“ Tony’s comment is cut off by the massive amounts of volts running through his body. The good news is that the electricity locked Tony’s grip to the vehicle!

Kyo sees the giant Eel swimming through the air towards them all, recognizing the primal hunger on its face. Kyo shakes off the concentration he's been using to control the floating boulders, and lets his craft float free.

Perspicacious' face is blank as she physically pushes the skipper to its limits flying straight up. Amaruve's bites don't register to her at all. Internally, she is fuming. "That's Tower Director, you assh... wait... I know that voice... What are you doing here, and what do you know about these portals? Can you control them? As soon as I regain control of myself, we're going to have a nice chat, but we have to find those kids first."Not even sure the voice can hear her, Perspicacious' thoughts turn to what she'll do as soon as she can control her arms again. They need to catch up to whatever it was that took the children. Everything else is a distraction.
Future Maneuvers: 9 I'd like to right the skipper and get back to the action as quickly as possible. My goal is to capture any enemy ships, or help the others escape the flying boulders.
