The dragonborn lights his pipe and blows smoke out of his nostrils, the smoke has a certain acidic smell to it. "I suppose so, sir. If it is all within the boundaries of the law and we are indeed getting your help in turn I say we set out to Wylden as soon as possible."

Wodan smirks at the “boundaries of the law” comment and stands up, “Oh yer gonna love, Wylden, boyo. It’s gonna be great.” With that he walks over to the door and opens it, “An’ on that,” He gestures with a hand, “Get outta me office.“
Assuming that you all don’t have any other questions, you are kicked out of the Dean’s office. Your minds flash back to what he said as you left, “Head to the Nexus in the Embassy District, an’ use this,” He said as he tossed you a small compass, “To find the ring. Should still be in roughly the same area as here. Or not. Who knows, it’s Wylden.” Truly, what a magical time that five minutes ago was.

Sunny scrambles to catch the compass.

(Aw, dang.) Sunny sees his glittering prize snatched out of the air by one of his compatriots. Scowling, he shoves his hands in his pockets and grunts at the creepy dwarf before stalking out of the room.
Assuming that you have nothing further to pursue in the area, you all quietly make your way off the campus. You see the site where you had that... aberration incident, but quickly move on before the angry glares of spurned students find you. As you travel along the road back to the skywalk, something resonants in Ashe, Dahme'dre, and Alijurn’s mind. The thought occurs that you are walking into a hornet’s nest here. The Yeth Hounds are fey creatures, native to the plane of Wylden. Plus this Azalf Blackwake guy, the person that Who, What, and Where seem to swear fealty to, seems connected to Wylden as well. Plus, Wick is still gone and, while you hope for the best, two weeks of total radio silence isn’t what one hopes for when facing... whatever this is.
Sunny does not think much on any of this. Because he is Sunny.
Meanwhile, perhaps a refresher on what Wylden is in order as you walk! Ashe especially would know that Wylden is one half of the Plane of Memory, and is a locale of unbridled life. As to what that means, research is still hazy. Maps are virtually useless as time seems to... fluctuate. Anyone that leaves Wylden and renters will often fined the landscape drastically different than before, as if centuries had passed, while for others its only a few moments. However, Everywhere may work differently in this regard. Who knows. Wylden was also invented by her very distant ancestors! Meanwhile, the other side of Memento is Mori, a desolate and empty plane of death and suffering. Remember the leech chickens? Some lovelies from Mori. However, Wylden and Mori share a unique relationship. One could easily slip through one to the other if not careful. Regardless, you are almost to the Embassy by now. Is there anything extra worth considering?
Sunny notices absolutely nothing of his companions' resonating minds! Instead, he stalks on, occasionally swishing his glaive through the air as he grows more and more agitated about entering Wylden. That plane was the site of his greatest defeat, after all. Never before had the mighty chimera been brought to such a crushing low-point...
As he passes the food court, he sees the halfling (?) who served him the chilly drink that so upset his finely honed physiology. He clutches at his tummy and growls menacingly.
Nevertheless, the skywalk ride across the city is a quiet one. Actually, with all the hassle of the NotHolder and the Itty Bitties, it’s pretty peaceful. Gives you a moment to collect yourselves, breath a sigh of relief. For a brief moment, Captain stands on all fours, tail fully extended, ears perked. He moves closer to the field that surrounds the floating platform and begins rapidly barking down to the crowd below.
Probably just a bird or something though.

The Skywalk hovers for a moment longer and then begins to land in its dock. The four of you (and Captain) depart from it and make your way through the streets to the Embassy District, which seems to be a hub for any interplanar relations, including customs. Odd that you never appeared here when you... well “arrived” is the most polite way to say it.
In any case, you see people making their way in and out of the hub, focused into one point, “The Nexus.” You note that there are separate channels for what one could assume are dignitaries. The Nexus itself seems to be composed of a large dome, which houses COUNTLESS doors. Every few moments, the walls spin as a new series of doors appear along the walls. It’s like a constantly moving gyroscope of doors.

Wodan just lets that hang for a moment. Considering better than to correct this, just sips his tea.

Definitely a bird or something. Non-chimerized dogs are weird like that.
