Unless someone wants to dash, we'll probably all move forward as far as possible to reserve the ready action one at a time until we meet the opposition.
I've placed you all pretty much as far as your movement will carry you while still allowing you to keep your ready action. (Zerys could probably be up by Pagan if she wants though.)
9 Zerys (AC 14, Speed 35, hp 10) 8 Markas (AC 15, Speed 30, hp 13) 6 Pagan (AC 16, Speed 30, hp 10) 4 Amar (AC 16, Speed 30, hp 10) 3 Brumdal (AC 18, Speed 25, hp 13)
Goblins
As the party creeps down the stairs, every sound in the cave no matter how slight seems magnified. You're sure there is something stirring ahead, and you are ready for it.
Hello all! Sorry for radio silence. Brumdal will generally not be afraid to be in the front of the attack. Javelin attacks as long as possible, then switch to the sword. Biggest targets first.
I'll try to check in every once in a while, but we've been moving the firstborn into her college dorm - and aren't spending much of our NYC time in our hotel. Thanks, Rick for stepping in and keeping Brumdal moving!
Zerys will continue to advance ... until she sights the gobos. When she gets sight of the situation her preference is to hurl fire at a range.
Zerys moves to the bottom of the stairs and peers around the corner using the wall as cover. She spots four goblins bedecked in leather armor and carrying spears, all ready to throw in her direction at the bottom of the stairs.
One goblin yells something in goblin, and they all throw their spears at Zerys. They all turn and run yelling "BREE-YARK" as they go, before seeing whether they hit or not.
These four goblins look like the same ones that scurried away from the last battle. Different than the two Markas saw carrying shields in addition to their leather and wielding scimitars.
Zerys is unable to let loose her Produce Flame because the goblins (at 40 feet) are just out of her range.
The goblins are beyond their optimal range with spears as well, so they have disadvantage on their attack rolls.
Attacks with Spears vs. Zerys (AC 16, due to partial cover) Goblin 7: 12 Goblin 9: 4 Goblin 10: 12 Goblin 12: 3
All the goblins miss. Their spears clatter to the ground short of Zerys and roll away out of the path.
Zerys has 10 feet of movement left if she wants to use it. She won't be able to get into range of the goblins this round, but she might be able to spot them. They have currently just left the range of her darkvision.
Pagan, you can move far enough into the room to be just ahead ahead of Zerys and Markus, but you are not in cover and you cannot see any goblins, because your torchlight will not illuminate them. (Zerys and Markas both are relying on their darkvision.
You can attempt to hit them with your dart, but you have two factors giving you disadvantage: the range, and your inability to see the target. (You know approximately where the goblin is, you just don't have eyes on him.)
As an option, you could use the dodge for the rest of the round, in case they decide to throw some more spears at you.

Amar shall advance as far as possible without dashing (through the snow or otherwise....sorry) preparing his light crossbow.
Yes - ranged weapon at the ready. If it takes another turn to get to the room that's ok.
Map at Round's End ...

Zerys, you're up.

No worries. Just post when you’re able!
Pagan will continue down the stairs to the room below with a dart at the ready.
Zerys will continue to advance ... until she sights the gobos. When she gets sight of the situation her preference is to hurl fire at a range.
Zerys
These four goblins look like the same ones that scurried away from the last battle. Different than the two Markas saw carrying shields in addition to their leather and wielding scimitars.

Goblin 12: 3
Zerys has 10 feet of movement left if she wants to use it. She won't be able to get into range of the goblins this round, but she might be able to spot them. They have currently just left the range of her darkvision.
Zerys will step forward to keep an eye on them!
Markas will move forward as far as possible and if within range loose an arrow at a goblin.
Zerys moves after the goblins and catches site of the trailing one stooping low to pluck a spear off the ground and turn and face her once again.
Zerys indicates to the others where the goblins are.
Markus
Markas moves up next to Zerys, and using a wall for cover shoots at the goblin Zerys indicated.
Markas - Attack Roll vs. Goblin 12 (AC 13): 23
Markas also has eyes on a second goblin (#9) who is still bloodied from the last battle.
Markas's arrow misses the target.

What do you want to do?
Battle Map from Pagan's Perspective
That is if Pagan wants to move as far as he can go and still take an action.
(The table and benches position is where my ugly yellow rectangles are, not where they look nice on the map...)
Amar will continue to move down the stairs and take a shot at his best guess of where a goblin is.
You could spend your inspiration and then get one of your fellow players to give you their inspiration. That would get you a normal attack roll.
If you could get two of your fellow players to give their inspiration (and you still spend yours), you would have advantage.
(Probably not a good use of all that inspiration, but it gave me an excuse to educate about how to cancel out disadvantage.)
