Rindarius leaves the questioning to the others. He does his best to keep watch by looking out the window and attempting to hear anything that might be happening on the second floor of the building.
"More than that my good friend."Flux states. "We shouldn't deprive the watch completely of their work. Speaking of work." Flux marches over to the Kenku as originally intended, and looms over him. "That wound is rather deep. You might not live long enough for other help to arrive, so answer concisely and I may ensure you keep breathing as Helm as my witness... Who are you? What happened here? And do you know anything about a Floon Blagamar?" Flux asks, then seems to think about it and adds. "In case it wasn't clear already. I suggest you remove any and all weapons upon your person. Otherwise Kebron here will... He won't be gentle."
The Kenku, cornered by Flux can barely stand, but makes an effort to open his beak and repeat the following lines:
In a deep voice with an orcish accent: “Xanathar sends its regards.”
In a thin, nasally voice: “Tie up the pretty boy in the back room!” and “Follow the yellow signs in the sewers.”
In a scratchy voice: “No time to loot the place. Just get him to the boss.”
The he looks down and pleads in a women's voice: please, help me! I don't know anything else, I swear...
"Are these the Zhentarim?" Phrael asked as he kicked at one of the corpses before heading over to Kebron and Flux. "Corpses didn't turn up much other than their tattoos. What's this little mimic got to say?
After the Kenku ansewered Flux's questioning, Phrael heard noises coming from what it seemed to be a small room near the stairs.
"We've got company." Phrael pulling out a short sword before making his way slowly toward the door near the stairs. He'd stand at the door for a few moments, looking for the others, then open the door.
As Rindarius mulls over the Kenku's remarks about Xanathar, the pretty boy, and the sewers, he retrieves his two thrown daggers. Upon hearing Phrael's announcement, Rin stations himself right next to the door, with back against the wall, and out of sight of anyone who might be in the small room after the door opens.
NOTE: If Phrael is unable to open the door because it's locked, then Rin will make an attempt to open it with thieves' tools.

Flux's eyes narrows in suspicion at the last plead. But in hearing his companions, he nods without turning his eyes away from the Kenku. "Kebron." Is all he says, but the signal is clear from having worked with the dwarf for even a short time. While the dwarf moved into position to hopefully ready his axe for whoever is coming, Flux gets to work treating the Kenku's wounds with what little he has on his person. He is not above tearing off pieces of his own shirt if need be to staunch the bleeding better.
However just as soon as he is done, he binds the Kenku's hands and legs with rope from his pack. If given a questioning look, he'll recite his only promise was to keep the keep the Kenku breathing, and that he never agreed to not turn him in. If there's enough time, he'll see to the other unconscious Kenku knocked out by Kebron earlier and give him a similar treatment.

After Rin opens the door you notice that the cramped chamber smells strongly of sour fish and vinegar. It is filled with discarded ropes, canvas tarpaulins, and splintered wood from smashed barrels.
Behind the barrels someone stands up with his hands raised and says "I'm not with them, I swear" he matches Floon's description but his hair is not red. He says before anyone can say anything "my name is Raenar Neverember"
The moment Rindarius hears the name Raenar Neverember, his mind flashes back to the Skewered Dragon, where one of the card players, said, "Your friend was hanging out with Renaer Neverember, I'm sure... the son of Waterdeep’s previous Open Lord, Dagult Neverember."
"You seem to be in a bit of a scrape, don't you? Make certain that you don't make things worse for yourself by lying to us, right?" suggests Rin as he looks over the fellow who claims to be Renaer.
Insight (in an effort to detect any sort of deception): 11
Phrael clenched his short sword tightly as the man sprung up, but was quick to put it away. "Anyone willing to hide in this stench wouldn't dare lie. Where's Floon?"
Phrael clenched his short sword tightly as the man sprung up, but was quick to put it away. "Anyone willing to hide in this stench wouldn't dare lie. Where's Floon?"
Renaer starts talking again in a very articulate voice, it's evident to everyone that he comes from a noble family - I'm afraid Xanathar's thugs mistook Floon for me. When we left the Skewered Dragon a couple of nights ago, five guys jumped us and took us here against our will they separated us to interrogate me about something but before they could do anything a group of Xanathar's attacked them. I was able to hide but I lost Floon, they fought for a couple of minutes and then everything got quiet...then again I heard people fighting and wanted to escape using that as a distraction...that that's when you opened the door"
Rindarius spits out the obvious question. "What would Xanathar want with you, Renaer?"
"The Zhentarim thinks that my father embezzled a large amount of gold while he was Open Lord, and that he hid the dragons somewhere in the city. They think they can find it by using an artifact called the Stone of Golorr, which was in the hands of the Xanathar Guild until recently. Apparently, someone stole it. The Zhents thought I knew something about all of this, but I don’t. My father and I haven’t spoken in years. I just found out that Xanathar men think that the Zentharim stole the stone of Golorr so they're trying to foil anything they do...like my kidnapping"
Knowing it's better to leave the questioning to the others (not everything can be answered by a good thumping) Kebron axe and shield at the ready slowly walks around the room looking for hidden dangers and hiding spots.
Flux had been listening, but the majority of his attention was on taking care of the Kenku. Only once they were both bound, disarmed, and does he address their new friend. "It is good to see that you alright, Ser Raenar. In spite what sounds like something of a falling out without father, he will be pleased to know that you are alive and well." He then looks to the others. "If we are done here, we should be getting these two to the watch, or flagging them down." He then goes back up to the conscious Kenku, and squats down before him.
"Self-Defense. You and you're friend over there are looking at a heavy fine, imprisonment, flogging, and hard labor for at least a time at best claiming that. You wanna help yourself more? Tell us everything you know about this sewer path. In exchange, I'll see if I work out some measure of leniency. That is Ser Raenar--"he glances back over to the noble. "If you don't mind, these two would owe you a great deal. And though uncouth, they are not without hope and potential. As Helm as my witness."

"The Zhentarims had Floon, but now the Xanathars have Floon?
Phrael sighed walking away from the conversation and exploring the room once again. "How did these parrots get involved?" Asking aloud to anyone with the answer.

Flux said, and having said his piece, makes sure to call one of the others over to watch the bound birdmen. In the meantime, he steps outside to see if he can get the attention of any city watchmen.
