Wex just shakes his head, ruefully. "Fine. Where do you suggest we find them to 'tail' them? You've got connections," he nods at the fist and the harp. "What do they say. And we'll need supplies. Food, healing... some might need weapons or arrows."

"Theo- I'm happy to stay here with Wex and begin planning our foray North East through Baldur's Gate. Are you open to exploring the city to secure the items we need? I'm sure the Order of the Gauntlet will help provision us well given the importance of the mission."
"Flynn- would you go with him?" [Sevrn will pass Flynn his money pouch in case its needed] "We'll want to keep a low profile, but I imagine when we do fight we'll be fighting overwhelming odds."

"If we're trailing them from the woods, we'll need camping supplies. If we're to try to sidle up to them, we'll need to be outfitted like caravan guards, or merchants, or troubadours, or some such." Wex smiles wryly at the thought of them as a troupe of bards.

Leosin begins pacing behind the table in thought, while Ontharr nurses another glass of wine.
"They will probably look like normal merchants traveling in a caravan. Most merchants stick together while traveling to better protect themselves and each other. They will probably keep heading north if they went the way you all said they did. Makes no sense to enter from the south, from their encampment, only to travel east. Would've been easier to head north the way you all came."
"Your best bet is to stay close to them. They will have to make their way through Baulder's Gate. Which means they will have to use porters to get all that loot through the city. So, they will probably be disguising it and themselves as Ontharr suggested. Let's see from their encampment to Baulder's gate.....with wagons.....They probably wont be there for another 5 days, maybe longer."
"We can get them to Baulder's Gate down the river in three days. You all can set up on the North end gates and wait for them. I'll have some of my men gather up some clothes, you all should change your looks as best as possible so as to not be recognized too easily, in case any of them have ever seen you all." If any of your equipment needs replaced, let me know and I'll see what we can do."
"I must go to speak with a friend, I'll be back in a little while with hopefully some more info."
"I think what my friends were getting at, is do we have a organizational budget provided to procure said potions and things from the market that we might need?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Flynn leans back.... "Potions can run a pretty penny....proably more than what we can come up with anyways. Tho i dont know about a budget i mean where would we draw funds from.... Maybe a hefty advance for potions?
"Oh, they've likely seen me, all right," Wex says. "Though the mercenaries didn't have much to do with the cultists. It'll depend if any mercenaries are with them. Theo might get recognized, too, though. It wouldn't hurt to have a story cooked up, though it might be fun to play it by ear." He smiles broadly in a way he hasn't recently.

Sevrn will start compiling a list for Flynn and Theo:
- Camping Supplies /Food+Water for 2 weeks (4 people)
- Outfits: 2 caravan guards (Wex/Sevrn) and 2 merchants (Flynn/Theo) - including 'wares' to be taking to Waterdeep? via Baldur's Gate / cheap/fake jewlery and precious stones are easy to move but warrant guards.
- A makeup kit for Flynn / I'd also like some cloth/needle/thread to cover my cape and hide my gorget
- Potions? (healing potions if the order are willing to part with them)
- Weapons? -A better bow/crossbow for Flynn and suitable arrows/bolts - magic if Theo can find them. I'm happy to trade *mercy* for a 2-handed magic greatsword - She's a fine blade but... light. Others?
- Armor? -I could use a suit of proper plate mail / I'm happy to trade this splint mail to cover part of the cost - it's branded with the dragon cult and will be recognized. Others?
What. Just tail and report. Tha doesnt sound fun"

Sevrn smiles at this. "I was thinking the opposite. It's hardly fair that the dragon queen has only an army to stop us. "
