As Kip makes his way deeper into the forest, he finds himself holding on to the straps of his backpack a little tighter. The sun's reassuring rays were more scarce and as the thick forest canopy seemed to horde them greedily... trying hard not to let any of the precious light through. The wyrwood creatures had always intrigued the squirreling and was felt a comfort knowing that they had a strong alliance with the mystical creatures. Kip's large bushy tail was kept much closer to his body now and was almost completely still. While the squirreling was a well trained hunter and gatherer that has always been able to provide for his family... he normally stuck to the brighter and livelier areas of the forest.
(I would like to apologized for my inactivity over there last few days. That should change as I have some days off coming up. Thank you for your patience.)
A large Wyrwood person walks towards Kip. It stands tall, almost twice your height, with dark wood grains crossing it's entire body. It's face looks more like a mask than that of a creature; but you have grown accustom to their appearance. It wears a long black cloak and likely was designed for magic use. "Greetings." It says in its hollow flute-like voice. "What are you doing so far north?" It asks you.
"I uhh.... ahem.." Kip will take a second to compose himself and find the right words, clearing his throat and giving the wyrwood a respectful nod "Greetings friend. I am looking for some long lost friends...." The squirreling would say looking up attempting to lock eyes with a point on the head of the wyrwood where eyes would normally existing on any other creature. "I heard that something in the forrest is turning our beloved woodland into a treacherous swamp.... I had hoped that perhaps my friends had the same idea as myself and decided to head north to see what we could do to help put an end to it" Kip would say, standing up as tall as he could make himself.
"Bandits? Hmm, wonder if we should be worried? Well I'm almost done on Mr. Pebblepots' order, then I'll help you with that." Ash says as he continues on with his work. He get detracted every few minutes as the events of the night before continue to float back into his head. Particularly seeing that Kender disperse into energy, which was horrifying.
Mercury, you turn in the direction of the sound; and are amazed to see a familiar face; a face that you've been looking for; for longer than it's wielder has likely been alive. Her name you could never remember, none of their names actually, but her face you'd never forget.
"Thank you friend" Kip would say with a nod before moving close to give the huge creature a small hug. The squirreling would then continue on his way, a little slower and more cautious after the warning from the wyrwood.
(can you describe what the wyrwood creatures look like? Are they friendly I know they are allies but I don't know anything about that race)

Penris, as you watch the rats, you see that they are tending a nest inside one of the boxes.
Mercury, you hear a surprised squeak from nearby. (Make a Perception Check)
Vanyel, as you move slowly towards the deer, it's ears suddenly perk up and it freezing in place.
"Bandit's on the road." Your father says. "They want to commission some weapons and armor to deal with it."

Penris walks over to the box, curious about the rats' behavior, wondering what treasure is inside the nest.
"You alright Ash?" Your father asks, concerned after seeing you shiver.

Vanyel's javelin plunges straight into the deer's heart and it topples over instantly; javelin pointing towards the sky.
