Does Isk recognize anything about their (I'm guessing) rank insignia? 18
(This is a local guild, so he did not see it back east. But he can easily guess the ranking: 1 bar for the 3 other members of their party, 2 bars II for NWrath, and 3 bars III for Murphy the leader. There isn't room on the badge for more bars, so any higher ups would have some symbol more complex than vertical bars. This group does behave more like a militia than an adventuring party.
Since it was a nice roll, Isk can guess from Murphy's posture and alertness that he is a rogue-mastermind.)

Trimyrai: (to Murphy and Nature's Wrath) "Perhaps in your travels you both have heard of me, Trimyrai Peucis, archer extraordinaire."
They both look apologetic that they don't recognize the name.
After Trim mentions a few competitions from around the Squall Mountains, Murphy nods as he remembers the results of those contests.
Then looks thoughtful again. "They halted those competitions a year ago, when the hobgoblin tribes and the other vermin from the mountains overwhelmed the villages in the region. Most of the people in the area were slain in the fighting, or taken into the Underdark." He looks intensely at Trim again, looks like he has more to say, but closes his mouth instead.

(They are focused on Nunkreet, so haven't looked into those events that far north. They've only heard the same gossip and rumors that circulated at the time of the attacks.
You know there were survivors after the attacks. And in recent months, some of those who escaped from the Underdark have returned to the west. But only vague info, nothing specific.
Information tends to be hoarded, so it can be sold or bartered. As the largest hub of civilization on the frontier, any accurate and recent information about the fate of the villages near the Squall Mountains would be in the city, but would need investigating to find it. That is part of why Bommie is introducing you to the Iron Gate. They have resources in the city, if you hire them or get them to owe you a favor.)

By mid-afternoon, the preparations are complete. Some underlings cast Pass Without Trace on the three squads (your party, WG, and Iron Gate), to allow you to travel at fast pace with some stealth. Your groups run for about 30 minutes. The walled city of Nunkreet is visible some distance to the south, but you are traveling west through the suburbs and countryside.
You arrive at a partially demolished chapel, that shows signs of neglect from fire damage, overgrown weeds, and ivy. There are no signs that the enemy has noticed your arrival. (The Watchful Guild scouts who stayed here from last night have already taken out a pair of orc sentries.)
Inside the desecrated chapel, floor slabs are slid aside to reveal an underground chamber. It is large enough for trolls and ogres to move around. (Whatever enemy that used this chapel as a base must have spent a lot of time underground digging.) After climbing down the ladder, you see that there are 3 passages exiting the chamber, all pointing in different directions. Unless there are objections, the Iron Gate will take one passage, the Watchful Guild the second, and your party will check out the last passage.

The passage is large enough for an ogre to use, but is still difficult trekking, due to the path snaking around, loose stones, thorny roots jutting out from the side walls, unsanitary slime dripping from the ceiling, etc. You check for traps and snares along the way, but nothing so far. (If the party gets in trouble, they can get back to the surface, but it is long enough to be annoying if they have to do it more than once.)
The passage eventually dead ends at a chamber, 30' wide and 20' long and 12' high. The walls are clay, dirt, and roughly hewn stone. There is a 10' door in the center of the wide side. The door is smooth polished stone, and the arch-like doorframe is precisely assembled stone blocks. The door has a large (stone) lever handle and a keyhole.
(What light source is the party using, and what do you want to do next?)

Each time Isk casts Light, the previous one winks out. He eventually puts one on the ceiling in the middle of the chamber, and starts looking around.
He notices a few odd things about the chamber.
The floor seems unusually clean. Normally there would be molds and lichens growing on the damp rocks. The side walls and the ceilings have these underground growths. The floor is bare rock and dirt.
The floor shows the wear of foot traffic leading to the door, but also to the wall right of the door.
The ground in front of the door is a slightly different color than the rest of the floor. Like someone painted it yellow, but most of it has worn off.
