Isk will use his wings to launch himself into the air, and into the fray with Warton. He is barely conscious and determined to make the most out of his remaining time awake!
Move: Flying 20feet towards Warton, landing where the 4 is on the map
Action: Non-lethal glaive strikes!
First Attack: 21 Damage: 11
Second Attack: 25 Damage: 12
+ 6 radiant damage if either attack hit
Then using the rest of my movement to fall back 10 feet to where the 2 is on the map
As none of his teammates are down, Jack will charge at Warton (somewhere around B3, maybe?) and proceed to attack him with a cursed hand, using Bestow Curse. “Now, now. Attacking with a scream? That’s not how ye do it, at least not like that! Here’s how ye do it!”
With a scream of power, ye rot the mind
but you messed with the wrong crew, specifically mine
Now you’ll feel the weight of your own Strength
even Higher now, feel your own Sins weight!
Bestow Curse Attack: 16 if it hits DC 15 Wisdom save, or he’ll have to roll one every turn. If he fails his turns saves, he can’t do any actions.
(Aww, man. I was hoping the first time would be a hit, lol)
Bestow Curse Attack: 16 if it hits DC 15 Wisdom save, or he’ll have to roll one every turn. If he fails his turns saves, he can’t do any actions.
(Aww, man. I was hoping the first time would be a hit, lol)
(The hag is the one with ice skin like plate armor. Warton, despite having barbarian Unarmored Defense, is AC 15.
I don't think Jack needs to make an attack roll for that spell. If that is the case, I will use his die roll of "9" for Warton's saving throw. If the spell works, Jack will chose CON for the ability to have disadvantage on saving throws.
It is a bit of a ballet dance, but when Iskander flies back (to "2" on the map), Trimyrai is there to stuff a regular healing potion into his maw. Heals: 8
Reverie does not get a bonus attack. She has to use her regular action to attack, in order to have that off-hand swing.
Will post results later, when I have more time.)

(Spells only require attack rolls if they say to roll an attack. 'Touch' for a spell just means they have to be in range to touch. You don't have to roll an attack to touch them successfully)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: What VanderLegion just said. Touch is the range, and it makes a difference if something like a fire elemental causes damage on a "touch". Otherwise, go with what the spell describes. So sometimes it reads to roll an attack, and sometimes it has the creature make a saving throw.
It works either way, with that "9" for the roll. Jack would hit AC 15 with his roll, and the deep scion save of 12 fails.
And barbarians get advantage on a DEX saves, but not on a CON saves.)
Warton / deep scion CON save (with disadvantage from Jack's curse): 4
Both of Froskan's spell attacks hit, for 15 damage (after bear barbarian resistance), and then Iskander strikes twice with his glaive for 14 damage.
(It had 29 HP left, which is why I was being fussy about what would happen with the Frostbite before making the roll.)
Even though Iskander struck with the intent to render the fish-man unconscious, the creature collapses and convulses, before being still in death. A stream of what smells like sewage pours from its mouth. The body is no longer a fish creature, but instead looks like a humanoid who drowned with the body being underwater for weeks... Trimyrai is displeased at what has become of his village chief (and sometimes friend / mentor), and the open eyes are disturbing. He walks over, closes the eyes, and pulls the body away from the puddle of Umberlee fluid that had corrupted him.
(Jack has to think for a moment whether his Curse was that powerful, or if what happened was a coincidence.)
Combat is over. (You aren't catching up to the hag, who has 40' flying speed with that greystaff.)

Reverie sighs as she looks down at the creature that seems to no longer live. After looking at Jack and Froskan, checking if they are okay, she walks towards Trim and nods at his words. ”Yes, we could ask. Let us check with the client also, hoping he is okay, ” she says before a pause, ”I’m... Sorry about what happened to your fellow villagers. We can show our respect for this man, if you would like to... Such as small funeral.”

Trimyrai will search Warton's body to see if any items of note are on the body. (OOC: notes, symbols, clues. anything to help in the investigation.)

Investgation roll (with advantage since others are around): 1715
You find anything there is to find. And you find a note. But with the battle and the transformation into a soggy fish-monster, the note is mostly destroyed.
You can decipher (only) a part of it, which Trimyrai recognizes as being in Warton's hand-writing, in block letters:
Make a show.
Bring witnesses.
They must know that Bane is behind this.
(OOC: My two questions:
Do you bring Warton's body with you, or leave it there?
Head back to the shop, or check in with Murphy to find out what he knows about what just happened? )

Jack, meanwhile, is watching Wartons dead body when Trim reads the note. “Umberlee. And Bane. Working together. As if having all of them me wasn’t enough, they apparently enjoy torturing you as well, with your own friends, of all things. Just what you’d expect.” He shakes his head, resting his hand against it, sheathing Leroy. He takes a look at Reverie as she asks about them. “I’m fine. I’m perfectly fine. Isk gets kicked out of his ‘Holy’ army, Trims village gets abducted into Cultic Rituals and Slavery, I end up with an artifact that apparently all the deities are going to hunt me for, Theren gets mystical dreams and chases a Ghost Ship, and Froskan finds his mysteriously intimidating mentor. And not to mention you. You’re a Paladin- you made an oath to these things, you stand by some of their sides. Something like this must tear ye up.” He sighs. “With that said, I think the real question is- are you ok? Because I’m not certain I would be, in your position.”
