Froskan nods sagely.  "Murderous ones.  Vines too.  Some twigs.  Oh, and a scarecrow."

Reverie hums briefly, frowning as she remembers the moment. "It was murderous indeed. The scarecrows and all of those traps... We thought it could be the part of Feywild."

"I'm pretty sure it was. We saw a meenlock, after all."

Reverie chuckles slightly, watching the fire flicking by the air. "We also found the victims. We would never know what might have happened to them, but..." A sigh escapes heavily as she remembers the scene. "—Well, that's that. We have been through a lot." She says as she looks at her friends with a smile.

"I bet they didn't pay attention, and ended up dead. Ye need to be prepared, and watch out for anything." (I wouldn't call jack a friend.. yet. more like a person who's traveling with you.) as he says that, he takes a look for creatures that could hurt/ kill them, or the monster. 19

"Of course, we all need to be prepare if the death is something that you don't want to see too early." Reverie mutters.

The change in conversation turns Theren's upbeat mood around sharply. He sits staring wide-eyed into the fire.

"...who indeed."

Your group enjoys the discussion during dinner, sets up a watch schedule, and gathers enough wood to keep a low fire going through the night. Besides the occasional owl hoot and distant wolf howl, the fire keeps any animals from intruding during the night.

At dawn, there is definitely the autumn-winter chill in the air. There is a moderate fog, which should be gone by the time the sun is above the horizon. Each of you is reluctant to crawl out from your bedroll & blankets, except Froskan, who is sprawled out comfortably, bare-chested, blankets tossed off during the night. Reverie was last watch, toasty in the magical warmth of her stylish fur boots. She stokes up the fire a bit and puts on a pot of coffee, to entice the rest of you to get up.

 (OOC: One of these days, I might scheme something sinister, so if you want to take stricter precautions than normal while guarding, don't forget to mention them. Besides the morning banter while packing up the campsite, what are you doing to find the beast? Toss in suggestions for the group, as well as your individual actions. Toss in 3 Survival rolls. Even if they aren't used right away, I will have them handy to speed things up later.)

( I would like to go to brokentooth forest, since that's where the creature was spotted. Look around, maybe try to find some tracks or any indication of the creature. Is the tracking roll just a D20 or is it survival or something?)

Yeah, 3 Survival rolls. I will edit the previous post to reflect that. If I need to, I can repurpose the rolls for something like Perception or Investigation.)

Reverie watches the pot of coffee to brew as she gazes at her companions, waiting for them to wake up. Soon, she looks up at Trim when he greets her from the good night sleep. "Morning, Trim. Here, have some coffee. It would help you to energize yourself for this hunt." Then she pours some coffee on a small cup and gives to Trim. After she pours herself a coffee also, she takes a sip.
