"Of course," Captain Austar nods to the pair. "If you're ready, we'll head out now. I'll grab a couple of my men just for safety; it isn't too far but you can't be too careful." The captain escorts the pair into the entrance and points to a couple of the guards. "You two, with me. We're escorting these two citizens."
"Yessir!" They say, quickly rushing over to grab their weapons and packs.
Outside
Kysdove rushes over to the collapsed figure. It is a human man, and judging by the pool of blood swiftly pouring out, they have been cut open dozens of times. Turning them onto their front confirms this as it looks like their front has been through a corridor of whirling blades. They are barely alive, and probably won't be in a few seconds.
Kydove considers quickly and then uses healing light on the man (Healed for 1) which would no doubt be enough to save his life, though he's not going to be running around any time soon.
Captain Austar grabs a shield and scimitar and walks over to the pair. "Well, if you are ready we shall be off."
Outside
The healing light bathes over the man. However, it seems to do nothing, the man coughing up more blood as he breathes his last. Aurhook rushes over with the waterskin, but it is too late.
(At this point I guess the inside group will head out)
Both Groups
Captain Austar steps out of the building with his pair of guards, M'orron and Salleek in tow. Ahead of them, Aurhook and Kysdove are knelt over the body of a person in a pool of blood. "What is going on here!?" The captain calls out, drawing his scimitar as his guards have their glaives readied too.
Kysdove gets to her feet quickly, stepping back from the captain. She has a most surprised and unhappy expression clear on her face. She looks back down at the man sadly.. a little annoyed the healing, as minimal as it was, did nothing.

The guards rush forward and take the body of the man. "Sir, it is just like the others." One of them tells Captain Austar.
"Not again..." The captain says. He issues for two of the guards from within to take the body inside. "We can discuss what happened later." The halfling says, giving the two unregistered people a small glare. "For now, I have matters to sort out with these citizens, if you will excuse us."
Looking at the body, it is obvious that the dozens of cuts on the man's front has probably lead to a lot of blood loss amongst other things with that number of injuries.
"Suit yourself." Captain Austar says. "However, they will not gain any protection from the watch should anything happen."
Following the halfling along the dark foggy streets in mostly silence. After a few minutes he stops. "It's just down here." He informs the group; the rest of the guards seem to set up a watch at the turning. "Follow me." The halfling gestures for the others to follow.
There are instantly obvious signs of dried blood along the walls of this narrow alleyway. It appears to have been untouched in the past days since the party were apparently found down there, some bits of garbage are strewn in the street as well.
"This is the scene." Captain Austar explains. "Don't meddle too much, but feel free to look about."
With the glimmer of illumination of the Light, the fog is very slightly repelled, allowing for a better chance to look at the scene. The party spends a few minutes working together and trying to find anything of note. Between them they find the following points of interest:
There appears to be blood sprays all over the scene, dried to the walls and possibly been there for several days.
There are six light scorch marks on the ground.
Three crates have apparently been broken and left in the alley. There are slight blood stains on the wood.
On the wall just above where the highest stain of blood is appears to be a piece of graffiti of an eye.
There is a city drain just beside where the scene is. Peering into it there appears to be a glimmer of perhaps a small piece of something silver beneath.
Two broken shortswords are amongst the clutter of the broken crates.
