You gather your belongings and west out of Neverwinter. You travel、on foot、for about two hours when suddenly a mysterious fog rolls in. It comes in rather quickly until it completely blocks your view.

As you continue walking down the road、the surrounding trees look different. Arbrist senses that you are not in the same forest as before. Black pools of water stand like dark mirrors in and around the muddy roadway. Giant trees loom on both sides of the road, their branches clawing at the mist.
The fog spills out of the forest to swallow up the road behind you. Ahead, jutting from the impenetrable woods on both sides of the road, are high stone buttresses looming gray in the fog. Huge iron gates hang on the stonework. Dew clings with cold tenacity to the rusted bars. Two headless statues of armed guardians flank the gate, their heads now lying among the weeds at their feet. They greet you only with silence.
MItuna walks over to and studies one of the heads, attempting to recognize the face.
As you peruse over the stone head、 you dont recognize it right away. However you do notice the striking features of a handsome man. As you look deep into bust's eyes、you remember hearing stories of a great war faught long ago、of a man who nearly wiped out an entire army on his own. It seems to be made of ordinary stone. Upon further inspection、you also notice an item near one of the heads. It looks like a stick、 about 8-10 inches long、and has a spiralled handle. There is a glyph on the butt end of the stick.
**OOC: Do I recognize the glyph? What language is it in (I know Primordial, Celestial, Infernal, and Common)? Also, can I get a name on the conqueror (since such a warrior probably was documented by the clergy of Kord for his strength), or is the check not quite high enough?**
Mituna walks back towards the group, stuck by the oddity of the decapitated statues. “This is interesting. I think I recognize the faces, but the name escapes me. He was some kind of warrior, and a good one. He conquered armies while severely outnumbered. His own prowess had something to do with it, if I recall.”
"So..." Arbrist mutters, "We are in a magical fog, in a forest we never walked to, and in front of us there is stonework depicting a probably mythical hero... Well, all we can do is press on, I guess".
Velnor follows his companions with a grim face when the fog starts apearing, when he hears that they are not in the same forest he starts following his companions with shame, now hearing Arbist words he says "It was under my council that we faced the forest head on without a guide, i can only blame myself for what may happend now, but you can be sure i will stand beside you my friends"

(Though you cannot see through this fog currently, you can sense that this fog is not natural, but is controlled by some sort of magic.)

Arbrist also attempts to see or hear anything through the fog, so that, if there is any danger, he would be able to sense it.

Perzival says: "This fog is magical! It plagues us!"
“Well, we don’t have much of a choice, do we? Besides, the gods will guide us, I have faith.”
