You catch the soldier by surprise, and strike it full force in the chest. However the burst of energy doesn't appear to do the damage you were hoping for. The soldier takes (3) damage.
Kolthar then draws an arrow, takes aim at the soldiers and fires. However, without hesitation the man he targeted moves his shoulder and it passes him by.
Then Hektor makes his move. By now the enemies have moved into range, and he charges forward with both blades at the ready.
(You need to roll an d20 and add your strength or dexterity modifier. It's your turn to attack, so make your roll.)
(Well both my Str & Dex are +2 so, I'll use Dex. Roll(1d20)+2: 16,+2 Total:18)
(OOG: it's heading to night time now where I am. If you haven't had your turn yet, but want everything to go fast, write in what you wish to do and your attacks. If you want to see what others do and for the enemies first, though, that's absolutely ok too)

If you love a character, you give them pain, ruin their lives, make them suffer. Maybe even throw in a heroic death.
And now roll damage. I believe for the weapons you are wielding it is 1d6+2 slashing. If you get two hits, roll the d20 and damage again =)
(OK So thats Roll(1d6)+2: 6,+2 Total:8 for the Scimitar, then I roll the D20, Roll(1d20)+2: 10,+2 Total:12. And if it hits it does, Roll(1d6)+2: 3,+2 Total:5 for the Shortsword.)
Lindal rushes to meet the front soldier and he uses his shield to push him trying to make an opening into the solider's guard and swing his sword diagonally, aiming for the unprotected spot near the neck.
[OOC: nothing fancy or called shots here, just describing the fight to add flavor ;) ]
Hektor takes a swip with the scimitar, slashing the soldier's chest and dealing(8) damage to the far left soldier. Using the momentum from the first hit, he swings his short sword, but it falls short. The soldier was prepared that time and bounced to his back heel to dodge.
Lindal then follows Hektor, charging forward with his shield and using it to throw off the middle soldier. It works, and the enemy has no opportunity to defend himself as Lindal cuts into the flesh of his neck dealing (12) damage. The man is looking quite rough, and grasping at his wound.
The two left and middle soldiers are injured, the other two left untouched. The one in the middle looks the worst off. Armus, it is your turn.

(FINALLY! MY FIRST F&@#ING D&D HIT! Thank christ that felt good even if the second one whiffed! Suck it weirdo soldier dude! XD)
I look at the soldier & give a small chuckle, "HA good. You're learning, maybe if I hit you again hard enough you'll learn to leave when you have the chance. Provided you live long enough to do so!"
As Hektor finishes his blows, he feels a whistle by his ear. Armus has fired an arrow, and it strikes the soldier through the cheek. The man collapses to the dirt. He has been slain.
Glitch, you hear a voice in your head replying 'I don't know! I've never seen them before in my life.'
Glitch targets the far left soldier, realising that he is closest to many allies. With firm concentration, and the soldier distracted, you manage to deal (8) damage.
The Soldiers have found their ground in the battle now. The far left soldier takes a swing at Hektor, (roll: 12+3 = 15 vs AC. If they hit, Hektor takes (3) slashing damage)
The middle soldier, still grasping at his neck, targets Lindal. (roll: 5+3 = 8 vs AC), however, falls short in a weakness the man didn't look to expect.
The mid-right soldier sees his ally suffering and comes to his aid, also attempting to hit Lindal. (roll: 11+3 = 14 vs AC. If they hit, Lindal takes (7 - Max) slashing damage)
The far-right soldier charges forward, 'Give us back our Lady' he demands and he charges for Armus. (roll: 2+3 = 5 vs AC), but his swing is too obvious, and Armus is able to dodge it.
Ulroc, it's your turn.
(OOG: I strongly recommend choosing a text for your character's dialogue, everyone. It makes it easier to follow. Also, tag the spells you are using if you know how.)

(What you mean like this?)
Hektor shocked by the arrow calls out "A LITTLE WARNING NEXT TIME PLEASE!" He sees the soldier coming up to take a swing at him & manages to dodge it. "That goes for you too!"
(I calculated my armor class wrong, I thought it was 17 but that was with my old stats its actually 18! So he misses. Well he would have missed either way really. :P)
Chain mail + shield gives Lindal 18 AC If I am correct so he's safe for now
Too late the paladin realises that other soldier has come close to him on his right side. He was using the shield to block the attack of the wounded one, so he only had time to spin, trying to dodge the blow. He didn't, and the weapon of the soldier landed on his armor, but the movement was enough to make the attack angle inefficient. Still Lindal could feel the hit and he was sure there will be a mark on that zone. But he hasn't time two think about it. He has to enemies to care about now. That was good, the more with him, the less threatening the others. He has to level a little bit the odds, so, now that he has the shield at the side of the unwounded one, he parries another weak attack from the first soldier and tries to cut his arm.
Att: 19+6 = 25
Dmg: 8+4 = 12
I am using wizards dice roller to do all the rolls. I can take screen captures if you want. That was a pretty good rolls.

Just checking that you're sure. If you're duel wielding you won't have plus 2 so with chain mail it should be 16? If it is 18, then well done lmao. (Not critising just making sure)
And sorta =) It works. I just colour the actual dialogue.
Glitch feels the power surge out of him and course through the warrior's mind. Yes, he was quite enjoying this. "Shall we toss up again, or whittle the logs?" He asks. He nods his head in compliance. He points to the soldier again, moves his hands and pushes both of the forward. "From the light, darkness holds no sway." 10+5=15 for 5 damage. (If he is not standing Glitch will attack the next closest target.)
*Who are you, milady? What makes you so important?* Sends peace with his message, trying to show confidence in this uncanny situation. He feels for the woman's response, searching the ether of his mind to the connection with hers.

Armus stands, and draws his bow, firing it at the man near Hektor (The one who was hit for 8) , hoping to hit him again and finish him off.
(15 on the die, 20 to hit. if that hits, deals 5+3 damage plus 2 sneak attack damage, for a total of 10 damage.
20 to hit, 10 damage.)
EDIT: Clarification on who I'm hitting
