Glynquinal scans the various buildings in the immediate vicinity. None look like any jeweler's shop he's ever seen before.
Barthen makes a sound of interest when Rock shows him the eye patch. The old man picks it up and looks at it closely. "These look real," he comments, examining the stones. He also tests the make of the patch, including how strong the leather is. "I could give you 20 gold for this, but Halia might give you more. I really only sell to those in Phandalin, and I'm not sure anyone would have much use for this. Halia has a more varied clientele, so it might be easier for her to find an interested buyer."
Ian, you're not sure, but she might have come from that big, stone building with the pitched wooden roof and a bell tower in back.
"Halia runs the Miner's Exchange," Barthen says. He leads Rock out the front door and points south by southwest. "Follow the main road through town. Pass Stonehill Inn and the Townmaster's Hall. It and the Lionshield Coster and Thel's form a triangle." Barthen pauses, looking regretful. "Poor Thel," he says to himself. "Anyway, keep heading that way. Pass the Coster — there's a sign out front. The Miner's Exchange is the second building on the left. Halia usually keeps the door open, so look for a building with the door open."
Having watched an angry Dwarven woman stomp away from them Glynquinal turns to Ian, "Well, where do we go from here? I need to find someone that is selling diamonds for a project I'm working on, but I would be interested in seeing how she made out with the Townmaster."
Glynquinal replies, "Perhaps they might have what I need, but it really depends on what they are mining for. Did you ask Barthen what kind of miners go to the exchange?"
Responding to his friend, Glynquinal answers, "That might be a good idea. Ian, you feel like going to check out the mining exchange, or tracking down Herr Doktor?"
Glynquinal adjusts his new pouch, and stops walking for a moment waiting for Ian to respond.
Ian, where would you like to look for Herr Doktor?
Rock leads Glynquinal to the Miner's Exchange. As the two are about to enter, they hear and recognize the dwarf woman's voice speaking heatedly within. They enter to find Grista speaking loudly while gesticulating to a concerned-looking Sildar. The two pause as Rock and Glynquinal enter. The dwarf crosses her arms over her chest. "Well, speak of the devils. Here's two of them now, Townmaster."
Sildar turns to face the two adventurers, still looking concerned. "Rock Squeshi," he says, addressing the dragonborn directly. "Grista here says you and some others broke into her tavern this morning. Is this true?"
"Yes we did, we got ambushed by Redbrand there the other day and wanted to make sure there were no more of them. This dwarf was happy to serve all their needs, these are the same one that have been holding this town hostage!
Glynquinal adds, "Rock speaks the truth. This woman was a Redbrand sympathizer that make the evil the Redbrands did to Thel easier to accomplish. We went looking for any hint where they might be so we can end the threat on a more permanent basis so we can continue our search for our friend Gundren. We don't want him to meet a similar fate as Thel. I'm less concerned over a damaged door than The;'s life. I'm willing to atone for the door...provided she is willing to atone in part for Thel's fate"

As his friend approaches, Glynquinal greets him, "Hey Rock. Did you see that little Dwarven wench? She was madder than everything when she left."
Gruxx is in step with the others as he is not looking to purchase anything.
"I saw her a bit ago. She still looked as mad as a hornet"

Glynquinal replies, "Perhaps they might have what I need, but it really depends on what they are mining for. Did you ask Barthen what kind of miners go to the exchange?"
"Let's go see what they have"
Responding to his friend, Glynquinal answers, "That might be a good idea. Ian, you feel like going to check out the mining exchange, or tracking down Herr Doktor?"
Glynquinal adjusts his new pouch, and stops walking for a moment waiting for Ian to respond.
Ian to the group. I will find the good doctor, and we will meet up with you at the Miner's exchange.
Glynquinal to Ian, "That sounds good. I'd love to know how that whole thing with the Sleeping Giant turned out."
Turning to Rock, "Well then friend. Looks like you and I are for taking a look at the Miner's Exchange."
Ian, where would you like to look for Herr Doktor?
