The G'M.O.A.T..'s Sunless Citadel & Beyond: The Wild PbP Edition

Quaf, you hear the buzzing, loudly as if it was close but you see nothing. Kat, you, on the other hand, see Quaf, flying up into the sky, looking around and looking very confused. Like he is searching for something and can't find it.

She takes your hands into hers and takes a deep breath in. The crystal ball in front of her lights up and fog starts appearing around Madam Jabronza. 

"Yes, yes. I see it now. I feel it now."

Her eyes open up and what was once beautiful almond shaped dark eyes are now pearly white. Her voice changes; then drops an octave and becomes raspy.

"To save them all, you must give what is most precious.

 A heart is now dark, a heart wants vengeance.

Light the way in the twilight, stop the ancient foe.

A broken shield, a sword that is not a sword.

These will fall, these will fall.

Fear not, the power is within."

Her eyes go back to the normal shade and hue, the fog dissipates and the crystal ball loses its light. 

"Yes, Madam Jabronza will start this reading by telling you that you have to be brave, yes, child. To save the ones you love, you must love them. Yes, love them. I see this. I see that you must seek out the end of the Path. Once started, must be completed. Yes, you will die if you do not finish the Path. Time is fickle here in this Realm, there is still much time to finish what your friend started. If you finish the Path, you will live; forever. But not him, he has too much darkness in him. Beware of the sister, she is corrupted. Oh, and child," Madam Jabronza says, "Your friend, the sad and angry furry, he is no longer lost. he's outside at this very moment."

Kat shouts out the window "QUAF! QUAF up here!" 

Then to the bees he says "You there, the buzzing ones, land down there now" he points to the crossroads where Quaf came from.

OOC Can Quaf see or hear KAt?

There seemed to be a difference in the readings. The first part seemed off as if she wasn't speaking for herself. She seemed to not notice. 

Quaf can definitely hear Kat. Loud and clear over the buzzing. Though, you can not see him.

Thell, breeze, and Quaf... you see a carriage appear on the street with two (2) Giant Honey Bees in front of it. Sticking his head out the window, you see a very mischievous looking Kat. his teeth now placed in his mouth like the smile of the Cheshire Cat. 

"Hello! I'm back!"

"Kat? Kat! Oh my Djinn, Kat...Ehm Are you Kat?"

"Hello Quaf! Of course I'm Kat...who else would I be?" Kat kinda scowls a bit - there also appears to be a bit more purrrrr in his voice when he speaks.

(OOG I edited the post about Kat landing... When deciding the way his new teeth looked we went through a couple iterations and I forgot that it was decided to go with the Cheshire Cat grin instead of the Saber Tooth Cat teeth... :P )

She stands up and the back door of her wagon opens. "Take heed who you play games within the Feywild, most won't be as forgiven as Madam Jabronza. Good Fey-day, to you, child."

(OOG Just to make it clear, she 100% believes she did not say those words. Out-of-game knowledge, something else was happening, but that doesn't make BOTH readings any less real or important... Madam Jabronza can only see so far. Good job pushing her for clarification. :)   )

Kat exits the carriage and approaches his friend "What's wrong with my face?" (OOC - also worth noting - Kat is regular sized not half sized like was originally discussed earlier (sorry Breeze you're still the tiny one) and when he grins, its off putting because  it appears his smile opens wider than it physically should - it also exposes rows of teeth when he does - as explained by Gmoat - his grin resembles that of the Cheshire Kat now)

Beebo is also perched upon Kat's shoulder....or at least it kinda looks like Beebo......but with horns.....and his tail is....strange.....it appears to be sticky.....with four fingers at the end of it.

(OOC - Gmoat - so I forgot to ask - but like a 4 fingered hand at the end of his tail?) 

(OOG it is like a four finger hand...kind of. He has to learn how to use it, then it will work like one. Trial and Error for Beebo. lol )

Maybe someone was hurt and they want to return the favor? You can not light the Twilight. It's impossible, whether rumors of Moonbright can be believed or not, there is no lighting the Twilight. That must mean something else entirely. Maybe be the light of the Twilight to stop an ancient foe. Do you have an ancient foe? A broken shield and a sword that isn't a sword, even for me that makes little sense. That has to be symbolic of something, what I do not know. The power is within can mean many things. Many, many things. Is it in somewhere and must be found? A treasure? Inside you? Hmm... This last part is the only thing that makes sense. Summer can't last if Winter begins. The Summer Court, which rules this land; and is in constant battle with the Winter Court. Though, their war is one of silence. One that has not come to full out battle in many millennia, thank the Wild for that!"

"I hope all of this was helpful, but Madam Jabronza is tired now and would like to rest. May the Path guide you well, and the Twilight always shine dimly." She says as she walks you to the back door of the wagon.
