Seeing the ice have very little effect, and remembering that his fire, though smaller, seemed much more effective, Liet will launch a some more produce flames, first at the bushes, and then when only the tree remains at it ((@Baron - you can either choose which bush or just roll a d6, odds/evens for which he attacks, or whatever else. And unless something dramatic changes on the battlefield, this will be my attack for the rest of this fight.)). He'll also do his best to stay hidden behind trees, just popping out enough to get a line of sight, toss a flame, and duck back behind it.

As McFuddy struggles in the things grasp he wildly hacks at it. The branches wrapped around him prevent him from getting a clean strike and his weapons collide at odd angles, simply deflecting off the thick bark.

You can dropprone without using any of your speed. Standing up takes more effort; doing so costs an amount of movement equal to half your speed. For example, if your speed is 30 feet, you must spend 15 feet of movement to stand up. You can't stand up if you don't have enough movement left or if your speed is 0.
Nalla screeches a booming battle cry as she practically jumps up from the ground, leaving her hand axes where she was lying. Her usually completely white eyes and white tattoos are both a pitch black as she grabs her Greataxe. She swings with all her might at the tree creature's leg.
(Nalla used her bonus action to enter a Rage [+2 to damage] and this is the first attack on her turn so she's going to attack recklessly [advantage to her attack this turn, but monsters have advantage against her as well])
