occ: Does the painting seem as though it's been printed by some one with paint on their hand? What kind of hand is it? How big is it? Is the paint fresh? No one is alive in the house? Are there other rooms besides a bedroom and a kitchen?
[The white hand is rougly as large as a square of 1.5 feet side. For more information a check or checks are needed. No one is alive in the house. There are few more bedrooms in the house, some of them crearly kids' bedrooms.]

Stormbringer makes a careful search of the house and each room. Looking for clues about what has happened here and the whereabouts of the children that ought to be here. (investigation:8) He then makes a second sweep for any thing that may have been hidden. (perception:10)
oog: well crap rolls seem to have frustrated all attempts...
[To Enog, those are definitely dead people and the white hand painting is a white hand painting. There is no sign of the children and he can't find anything of interest in the farmhouse]
Stormbringer strolls out of the farmhouse and looks around to see whether the others have finished their searches. He begins whistling a tune to a rather bawdy song that the sailors sang on the ship that they had been aboard as he stands waiting for the others. He notices the human returning from reconnoitering trail. "Hail Lord Graysmith, What news from the trail?" He calls out jovially as he strides toward the knight.
OOG: Sorry guys I haven't been able to keep up with the story and it looks like I won't be able to in the future either. I think it would be easier for you guys to continue without me. Sorry for any inconvenience and good luck with the game.
"There are 5 dead adults in the house, The children who obviously live there are missing, and there is a large white hand painted on the wall of the kitchen." Enog replies.
Fergus shakes his head grimly. "By the Hells! These people deserve a proper burial, but I fear that we will lose the trail of the children if we tarry here much longer. Priest, you speak with the gods, what say you? And what are your thoughts dwarf?"

As for me, I choose to believe that an extinct thunder lizard is running a game of Dungeons & Dragons via Twitter!
"Alas Master Greysmith, they are already dead; It's beyond my power to help them. The Tempest is change my friend. It gives us the power to perhaps change the future for these children, but we must hurry." Stormbringer clenches his fists reflexively, before adding, "I could find no sign of them in the house. Perhaps you master monk should have a look to see if perchance I missed anything of import in my search?" His face twists in thought for a moment before he jogs over to where the worg corpse lays. "Let's be sure they haven't already been eaten," the large half orc calls back over his shoulder as he rolls the corpse onto it's back and pulls out a knife. Enog Stormbringer then plunges the knife in below the tail, and splits the worg open to the sternum, before reaching in to find the stomach. He removes it and then slices it open spilling it's contents onto the ground.

"My thoughts? Have them ye shall, but I'll save some of them for a more appropriate time. Depending on what Enog finds in the belly of that wolf I think we should move on, might have been more Goblins, might have taken the children away before we arrived." Krisnen looks at the main building and then back to Fergus "I'll go have a look around inside, to be certain"
OOC: I'll go take a quick peak in the house and see if anything obvious pops out to me, Krisnen's not really the nooks and cranny searching kind of guy though.

OOC: If Krisnen finds no one/nothing in the outhouses he will then return to main house.

Fergus returns from his scouting trip, having seen nothing of concern. He checks the sun, wondering how much daylight is left.

OOG [Even in 3, I can adapt the encounters]
OOG: I have a friend who might like to join, would you like me to ask?
That would be great!
OOC: I have sent him the link, he said he will check in here after a bit, probably going to roll a ranger.
"Nothing untoward up ahead for at least two furlongs. What did you and the Dwarf learn?"

I am here and will be rolling up a Ranger shortly.
Long days and pleasant rolls to everyone.
