Kyanite looks at the bartender, "Get everyone out the back! Odo, can block the back door? Everyone else, behind the bar, I have an idea!"
If they come in:
Intitiative: 6
Assuming I have better initiative then the redbrands, I will wait till the most advanced has covered half the distance in the room, or 10 ft from the door (whichever is first) then cast [spell]Web[\spell] on the floor.
-- the floor will become difficult terrain, and they must save vs Dex or be restrained.
Ajax prays the gods that next time they will help him, then follows Kyanite instructions, even if in his opinion , whispering to Mulligan
“damn, sometimes that spells works. I don’t think they will rush inside in mass, they are likely to wait for us outside...we must find another exit if whatever Kyanite thinks comes to nothing “
he turns to innkeeper
“sorry for the mess, sir, it was not our intention, do you have a back door or something ? If anything goes wrong we may use it and cause the less disruption as possible “
OCC: I am thinking fight them here and get the citizens out. We don't know how many there will be, but between sleep and web, I should be able to slow them down. Worse comes to worse, we'll burn the place down :)
((Ok - rolling init again here just to see: 8 . Also, there was only 1 Redbrand, and he will attempt to leave, unless you manage to stop him. Kai - your initiative is lower, so unless Mulligan or Odo beat his initiative roll, he will leave the inn without doing anything. I'll wait a few hours to see if either of them post. If not, I'll roll for them just to keep things moving. ))
((Rolling Initiative for Odo: 20 - so Odo manages to move over to block the Redbrand before he can leave.))
As Odo appears in front of him, the Redbrand is surprised, but then sneers again. "Get out of my way," he says. "Unless you're looking to cause trouble for all these good folks here," he says, sweeping his hand around the common room. As he does, the locals immediately begin getting up and heading towards the door. Toblen says from behind the bar, "Now, now, we don't want any trouble," he says soothingly, looking at Odo with wide eyes.
((Since we've already rolled initiative, and Odo and the Redbrand have acted, parleying on their turns, party is up!))
As Ajax moves to confront the man, he turns. His sneer falters somewhat at seeing Ajax and the rest of the party. He swallows visibly and then says with bravado, "I'll leave here when as I wish, or you'll have Glasstaff to answer to. I doubt even you lot could take on a wizard like him, now that he knows who you are." He moves to try and go around Odo to leave the inn.
Ajax immediately moves, his weapon connecting solidly with the man's arm. The Redbrand hisses in pain as he turns, eyes wild. "Now you're in for it," he says with a snarl to Ajax, clasping his hand over his wound. He immediately tries to dodge around Odo again, making a break for the door.

Grapple Check: 15
Mulligan reaches for the man and holds him tight. He struggles but can't manage to free himself. He snarls in frustration. "You're going to regret this," he growls.

Kyanite, seeing his hope of the Redbrand drawing in others dashed, decides to play it a different way. "Are you going to torture and kills this one too? I just ate."

As Mulligan restrains the Redbrand, Ajax moves up and hits him over the head with the pommel of his sword. The man's eyes roll back in his and he slumps in Mulligan's hold, unconscious.
Redbrand WIS save: 7
He sneers at Ajax. "I can go wherever I want, coward." He turns to leave.

Ajax thinks

ooc: are there any window at the ground or (even better) at the first floor?
Ajax looks at the customers with a stern look
I am really sorry but I warned him, no harm will come to any of you, be sure
Then look at Mulligan, who happens to be the more willing to help:
let's get him upstairs locked up in the room, shall we?
But first of all he takes his red mantel
ooc: my idea is for one of us to dress up as one of them
