Class and Race: Rogue (Arcane Trickster) Variant Human
Description: Unlikeable and untrustworthy he may be but buried somewhere is a seed of goodness. Conor is short, dark and average looking with a wicked sense of humour and light fingers. He hails from the north of Foarland but has moved around a lot in recent years.
Backstory: Although he acquired the magic and blessings of the Warmfather in the clerical school he was raised in the teachers still rejected him due to his difficult attitude and larcenous instincts. He has since traveled widely through the continent, never staying anywhere for long until an elderly thief passed on his magics to him in return for heading south to find adventure in the lands previously held by the Ravenni, the old man died on the trip after a disagreement with a local in a tavern but Conor had nowhere else to be so continued on with the journey.
About me: Played a lot of D&D growing up, stopped at 3.5, missed out 4E and have been back in 5E for the last 18 months, play in a lot of games here on the site as it is easier for me to work around looking after my children rather than playing around a table. I'm commited to the games I play and as I spend a fair amount of time travelling I can usually post two or three times a day if necessary.

Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
This sounds fun, but I’m on mobile and can’t figure out how to change text color on this for dialogue (there’s no toolbar, and attempting to make this use the desktop site does not work, it just stays on the mobile site). Should I still apply? Is that a huge problem?
As someone else mentioned, turning the screen sideways works. Alternatively, you can go to your settings (usually a 3-dot button at top-right) and switching to Desktop View. This will enable the toolbar.
Oh my gosh... I lock the orientation on my phone. I would never have discovered this myself.
Hey there, I'm James. Your post on r/LFG intrigued me. I'd love to join you in your game.
Character Name: Kazathag Valu-Nelo
Class: Barbarian
Race: Goliath
Description/personality/backstory: (I'm trying not to be edgelord/loner here.) From a large tribe and youngest of his family, life was tough on Kazathag. With winters being harsh on their mountainous home. Anybody who wasn't the strongest, or smartest, were encouraged to leave. Which is what Kazathag did. He travelled down from the mountain and started out as a mercenary, helping small towns, getting enough gold to pay for shelter and food. He's big, tough, but also caring for his friends, never wanting to see them hurt. Kazathag is average size for a Goliath, 7'6, and a little thin at 240 pounds.
Timezone: GMT
I currently have a group I'm part of, we've been going a couple of months, but I'm wanting more DnD, and I think PBP is the best way for me. About me, well, I'm a big gamer, love RPG's, and always have a book on the go.
Class/Race: Fallen Aasimar paladin oath of redemption
Backstory: Azrael was raised in a cult but broke away in her teens after the epiphany that her 'family' were actually evil. Azrael is working towards redeeming herself within a society she seeks to understand. Azrael is quiet, logical, compassionate, and resourceful. Azrael is an diplomat trying to make her way in the world.
About me: I've been playing DnD since the 90s but only recently (2 years ago) started DMing with 5e. I really love the gaming system and how accessible it made DMing for me.

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
(I also posted on Reddit, wasn't sure which was preferred)
Name: Percy Sherman
Class: Lore Bard
Race: Human
Description:
When you meet Percy, he probably won't tell you that name, opting for another with the initials P.S.. He carries around a guitar on his back, old, but kept in good condition. Much of his face is blocked by a wide-brimmed hat, and not accidentally. A wand rests in a leather holster on his right thigh. He's done bad things in his past, and seeing where they've led him now, is trying to make himself a better man.
As he takes a seat in the tavern he notices a bounty hunter. While he knew this one would probably only be searching for deserters from the war, one can never be too careful. What especially frightened him though is when the man began walking toward him. While a magic missile could end this quickly, the town worshiped the Order of the Sun, and the crazed mob would do much worse to him than the church would. He gets up and strums a ballad of the Warmfather, inviting the crowd in the tavern to sing along. The hunter pauses the pursuit, knowing the backlash he would receive for stopping Percy mid-song. At the climactic end of the tale, Percy throws a bag onto to bar and yells "Next round's on me!" The crowd cheers and the ensuing chaos gives him a perfect chance to escape. The bag was filled with sand, but he was able to cast friends on the bartender during the performance. He sets back on the road, hopefully, the next town wouldn't have a bounty hunter.(An example of how Percy acts)
Backstory: (Not going to go super in-depth, totally cool with backstory changing to better fit better with the party)
Percy was orphaned young. He never really knew his parents, growing up a street urchin. He pickpocketed from a gang leader, who seeing potential in the boy, adopted him. In training with the gang, Percy found aptitude for magic. He was trained with a wand, a less unwieldy channel for his magic. He knows how to cast his magic using instruments, but prefers his wand. He accrued a large bounty during this time, killing and stealing with the gang. During one heist, however, he watched one of his best friends in the gang get killed by the guard, while he was left for dead by the very leader who had picked him up all those years ago. Now he is trying to change his ways to make up for his past.
Experience: I've had a year and a half of dming 5e, never really finished a campaign though. I like a mix of the three pillars, and because of school, I don't really have time for a non-pbp game. I'm a big fan of Eberron and read Keith Baker's blog regularly.
Preferred Platform: Discord (easier to do from my phone, plus notifications)
Timezone: PST (based on you saying you'd post at 6-7pm GMT, that would be around lunch for me, which would be good timing)

I will likely be choosing players tomorrow evening. There may be the odd detail in the character that those chosen need to change due to lore, but we can discuss that and compromise if necessary.

"The most important step a person can take is always the next one." -Dalinar Kholin; Oathbringer
Character name. Arcast 59 known as ARC or ARC 59 if other of his cast are around.
Class and race: Warforged - Hexblade Warlock/Divine Soul Sorcerer
Description/personality, limited to two paragraphs: Arc is one of 80 Kriegzeug forged from the Aangleist Rainforest casting of the Dwarf and Gnome runekrafters. Unlike other forged Arc likes interacting with other races and kinds. He has a curiosity that grows daily and has learned how to at least get along with most races and peoples in the world.
You may include a backstory: Arc served under Dwarf chieftain Glandenblade, a warlord and worshiper of Kriegun, Lord of Battle, until the treatment of him and his fellow forged companions caused division and ultimately rebellion.
Arc 59 and 12 other forged allies escaped to the country learning the maintenance skills necessary to prevent mechanical failures of the forged. Most of the other forged seem content to be left alone in their new wilderness hideouts but Arc found that he was full of curiosity about those different than himself. He has wandered mostly through Kapflochland and is now traveling into Foarland hoping to learn more and more. His curiosity is great and he loves the variety and beauty of the lands.
As a servant to the battle lord Glandenblade he became aware of the shadowfell influences in the material realm and that brought him into a Warlock patronage with the Hexblade.
As a curious and ultra aware forged, Arc has become intimately connected with the divine and is able to innately use magic from it. (Sorcerer's Divine Soul magic)
Your experience as a player, and a sentence or two about yourself.
I love the interaction and creativity associated with building characters and interacting with the worlds of DnD and the players. I played DnD for a few short intervals as a youth but it wasn't until 5e that I really became immersed in the art of the fun. I currently have two monthly IRL games going and several PbP here on DnDBeyond. I'm finally getting to the point where I know the little things (my last mistake was declaring inspiration after rolling an attack like you can with Lucky dice. Inspiration is like advantage and should be rolled with the original dice.) I'm understanding the mechanics better and loving the player interactions.
Personality: Haunted. At odds with the Raven Queen.
Backstory: Eliza made a spontaneous deal with the Raven Queen to save her daughter from being turned by a necromancer. The Raven Queen has kept her daughter suspended in an in between state. Eliza finds herself in someone else's body and these strange powers she's been gifted. Undead and necromancers are her favored enemy. She is visited by a Raven that gives her assignments.
Class and race (check the lore section on the Beyond link). Aarakocra Divine Soul Sorcerer
Description/personality Awnee resembles a 'scaly breasted woodpecker' with abdomen feathers that look, at a glance, like scales, ruddy colored feathers, and a sharp pointed beak. Red head feathers are wind swept with small beaded tufts of feathers framing her face. She is noticeably pudgy, both in body and cheeks.
She's not witty, she's not sharp, she's not observant. Doesn't know how to fly. Attention span is too short and she gets frustrated easily. But you can trust in her to be big hearted, as she only ever says exactly what she means.
Backstory Awnee was born under an auspicious sign foretelling her becoming head shaman and spiritual advisor to her people, second only to her tribe's leader. Ever since birth she has trained for her destiny...but is hardly suited for it, lacking the deep wisdom of someone so spiritual.
Liked by her tribe, but hated by her chieftain, in a fit of rage and jealousy, she was driven out of her village and now seeks a new purpose.
Your experience as a player, and a sentence or two about yourself. I have read your DnD Beyond link. Homebrew setting and interparty mingling is what I'm looking for! I like character focused content and have years of experience with text based rp and D&D. (Though technically, pbp being a merging of the two, I am new to)

So I have an idea for a Death Domain cleric but don’t currently have access to those options on here. Will you be doing content sharing?
I will. The content I own on here is as follows:
