Scamper does not appear to be perturbed by the dwarf's clear insult. She is too fascinated by what Jerico said.
HALF kobold?! Incredible!
It takes all of her willpower to hold back from grabbing his face and touching his ears to examine him, and he can feel that energy from her. Luckily for everyone, she manages to keep her hands to herself. She leans her shield and rapier against her chair, and distracts herself by looking back to Syndra's map. She regards it for a moment, then walks over to Gimdirr.
A challenge then, master dwarf. We will travel together for a time, and if we are unable to meet your *ahem* "standards", then we will go our separate ways. Agreed?
She offers her hand to seal the contract.
Gimdir squints at Scamper, not understanding, "You be not stealing my clan's standard!! A bannerman be carrying the standard. I be a smith. A smith be not carrying standards. Be staying away from my things, just the same!"
Henry just rolls his eyes, "I have lived a certain lifestyle that has allowed me to avoid dealing with children. But the rewards will be worth it." Then a grin with a slightly manic look to it spreads across his face, as he clicks his fingers producing a small flame in his hand, "Although I have no problem with discipline if it is to be required."
Scamper cowers a bit at the sight of Syndra exercising her will, and Henry's fiery fingers. Clutching her shied and rapier to her chest, her eyes are wide and she's clearly looking for a graceful way to excuse herself from the room.
"Aye, lets be going to the Thundering gizzard." Gimdir, still a shade of purple and doing is best to not lose his temper, begins to walk towards a door, but not the one the party entered.
You proved me right with your grammar, oaf! And I have no need for discipline. And I see you, kobold! I haven’t had good experience with the normal ones. Half Halfling, if you want to know. Now, I agree, to the thundering “Lizard”.

"I be an oaf, then you be a fool. 'Gizzard' is just funnier."
Gimdir tries to change direction and head to the correct door as the others are leaving without looking like he was going the wrong way.
As you wander through the streets of Nyanzaru toward the port, you hear loud stomping accompanied by cheering coming from behind you. As you turn to see what the source of this noise is, you see three large reptiles barreling through the streets. Atop these massive lizards sit humans adorned with colorful feathers and clothing. One of these dinosaurs is tall, with powerful legs and short arms, another is hunched over, running on long arms and even longer legs. The last creature, which looks slightly injured, stomps after the other two as a large fin on its back shakes back and forth. Along with the lizards, a large crowd follows, running along the streets and flat roofs of buildings. They are approaching you very quickly, and do not seem to notice you in their way.
Seeing the giant reptiles barrel down the street at them, Henry will curse in and harsh sounding language. Then with dexterity that betrays how he walked in the room not long ago, Henry dashes to the side and out of the way. Seeing Gimdir standing there, Henry calls out, "Gimdir you fool. Get out of the way unless you want an early trip to the grave. You don't want to prove those Kobolds right about your intelligence do you?"
you ‘be not dumb’? Well, you oaf, you proved me right right there!
"Please," says Syndra, drawing herself up to her full height, "I may be sick, but I have not lost all of my old ways"
Although Syndra may be affected by this curse, you all get the sense that if she wanted to, she could show considerable force.
"Jasuri, Henry, I expect you to keep those three" She gestures to Jerico, Gimdir, and Scamper, "In check"
Gimdir squints at Scamper, not understanding, "You be not stealing my clan's standard!! A bannerman be carrying the standard. I be a smith. A smith be not carrying standards. Be staying away from my things, just the same!"
"I be proving you where where where?"
"I be agreeing with that old human. Lets be finding a guide. Surely they not be taking kobolds along, or I be eating my beard."
"Oh, and just in case you need it, here" Syndra hands Henry this map
(OOC: Ignore the numbers, I could only copy this version from the book)

~♡~
Henry gladly takes the map and carefully puts it away in his bag.
"Let's go to this 'thundering lizard', to see if we can find a guide."

"By Moradin's stones, what be those!?" Gimdir watches as they bear down.
