The bartender runs into the kitchen and brings you a cooked chicken and a glass of wine. He also hands you a key to a room. "That will be 2 gold pieces."
Henry:
The inside of the building is L shaped. The bartender is stationed on the "I" part of the L, and you hear louder talking from the "_" section. When you investigate, you see two tables with balls on top of them arranged in a triangle. The tables are holding long sticks that are most likely used for hitting the balls. Next to the main tables, three smaller hexagonal tables seat six people each. Two of these tables hold card players, and one holds a dice game. It looks like you could challenge the current players and join the games if you wanted to.
Henry scoffs at the thought of him racing on some beast
He pays the gold for his meal and room. He observes what little he can whilst he enjoys his meal. After taking his time to finish his meal, he gets up and decides to head over to the card game. Leaning heavily on his staff and walking a slow geriatric walk, he makes his way over to one of the card games (Whichever he thinks looks better). As he approaches the table, he masks his face with a mixture of curiosity and elder innocence. "Any of you mind if an old man looses some of his money?"
[OOC for Kerrec: If you aren't feeling up to posting due to surgery you don't have to post. Health issues definitely take priority over D&D]
Scamper: The bartender eventually looks over to Scamper. He seems confused by the strange lizard.
"Can...Can I help you?"
Henry: The table on the left has a larger pile of money. The people around it try not to laugh as you walk over. The man who seems to be running the card game offers you his seat "Sure, old man. Here, I'll get up."
(This card game will be a series of rolls. The first roll is for just straight playing. This will be an unadjusted D20. If you want to be a card shark and cheat, that would be a Sleight of Hand roll. A successful roll would give you advantage on your next initial D20. Another way to gain advantage would be to make an Insight check to learn something about your opponents. A successful roll gives you advantage, but an unsuccessful roll gives you disadvantage. This is because your facade is let down when you try to learn something. I will be rolling for the other people as a group. Betting is much more simple. The amount that you bet is the maximum amount that you can collect from winning a round. The rest goes to the house. If you are not satisfied with your roll, you can choose to fold and give up half of your money to the house. If you need me to elaborate on anything I can do that.)
Your answer wont change how Henry acts as this will be fun but will Henry get some kind of advantage for playing a little dimwitted and clueless but he is actually more clever than he lets on and knows what is going on? Also whats the ruling with minor Illusion whilst playing?
Maybe even get them to bet larger?
Henry smiles as the man offers to get up, "Oh aren't you a kind young man." He says with the most grandfatherly smile he can manage, as he sits down. He reaches into his pocket pulls out 2 gold coins, making his hand shake as he moves to put the coins on the table, dropping them just before he puts them down. "Oh deary me.. Aren't i clumsy?" He says with the grandfatherly smile again. "Will two gold be enough for a first hand?" he says as he slides them over
Insight: 21
As I don't know if i get disadvantage, advantage or neither, here are two separate rolls. (7,11)
Jasuri, after lagging behind in the crowds of the city, comes through the door a little late and quite breathless. He walks up to the bar when he sees scamper, and sits down next to her if there's a seat. If the bartender doesn't come over to them, he'll call him over and ask for two rooms for the night. He's in a bit of a hurry to be rid of everything he's carrying, more because it's bulky than because it's heavy. If he can get a room he'll deposit his things and return to see what Henry is doing at the gaming table.
(I am back. Gimdir is off to sleep while the others explore Kaya's. Deduct the cost of a room, or let me know how much it cost and I'll do it. I will pick back up in the morning, or before if something happens.)
[OOC: Pretending to be an old man will have some benefits for Henry. Also, you did get advantage from the Insight. For future reference, the DC for the Deception check is 15. (Rule change explained in the blockquoted part]
The others play their cards after you do:
1. 16 2. 17 3. 9 4. 2 5. 13
They each bet 3 gold pieces, and the second player collects the money with a smug look on his face. The fourth and third players each fold
Jasuri: You see Henry, who is pretending to be an old man, playing a game of cards around a table. The two rooms cost 1 gold piece each.
(For card game: For simplicity's sake, if you succeed on a Deception check, you can cause 1 player to fold. Aside from that, no other rolls to modify play. If another PC joins the card game, these are the rules we will use. The goal of this game is to have the highest roll. First, you place a bet at a minimum of 1 silver piece. Then, you roll 1d8. This is kept private. At this point, you have a chance to stand with your bet, raise your bet, or fold (putting half of your bet into the pot.) After this, you will each roll a d6. After you roll the d6, you will have the last chance to stand, fold, or raise. Finally, each player rolls a d4. You then reveal your dice, and the winner takes 60% of the pot (rounded down). The rest of the pot goes to the house.
Jasuri walks back down the stairs and approaches the table. "Deal me in when there's a chance, ya. I think I can take you lot." He says with a friendly smile.
Henry doesn't show what he realises, keeping up the gentle grandfatherly appearance. "Hmm.. i don't know. Ah let's go for it and have some fun hey? Let's raise it to six gold."
(Another rule adjustment: If the bet is raised, everyone except for the one who raised it must make a DC (What the raiser's Charisma is) Wisdom saving throw or fold.)
The first player doesn't react, and the third player narrows his eyes at you. The second player (the one that raised you) shakes his head and folds. After the last roll, all three of you show your hands:
Henry's score: 6
The first player (who will now be named Tuan)'s score: 5 + 1 + 4 = 16
The third player (who will now be named Kwalu)'s score: 5 + 6 + 1 = 6
Saving throws: 1. 18 2. 3 3. 10
The winner stands up and offers his spot to Jasuri "Okay old man, I don't want to clean you out. He can take my place"
The flyers say the following:

(Can't post much. Had minor surgery today... nothing serious... and need to stay in bed. Have Gimdir just pay for a room and sleep.)
Scamper keeps trying to get the attention of the bartender but is so meek that she can't seem to catch him.

Scamper perks up when the bartender finally pays attention to her.
We'll have a meal and a room please! And no fighting little creatures!

(So to clarify it's now a new round? Or do I roll the smaller dice)
(It's a new round. I can keep a tally of money lost/gained so you can subtract or add it all after the game)
Henry: -2
Losing the first hand, henry smiles a sad smile, "Still getting the hang of it, maybe I will be more lucky this round!"
He slides another 2 gold across the table.
(So insight isn't used anymore in the rule change?)
Rolls:
2
The other card players look at their cards, and then around the table
One of the players seems very confident "I'll raise you to 4 gold."
(Insight isn't used but deception is. After your first roll you can say if you want to stand, raise, or fold.)
(But insight can be used to spot the deception?)
Henry smiles the kind grandfatherly smile, "It can't hurt to keep playing." He says as he matches the bet.
(If I can try to catch out whether he is bluffing, Insight: 4)
Roll:
5
