Anax tenses as he hears the voice of Dicaeus but quickly relaxes and plays it off, giving the slightest nod in acknowledgement.
As Carrus addresses him he replies quietly, "Don't worry about it, Olympian. Thinking straight is overrated." He looks over to Cybele, "We'd better follow the trail. I think Dicaeus is pursuing his own lead for the time being."

Dicaeus you actually manage to keep tabs on the figure fairly well, even anticipating where the figure is going to jump to another roof. Unfortunately you spend a little too much time watching the figure and not whats in front of you. You end up bumping into someone and that person yells out "WATCH- What? no ones there?"
The Figure looks over their shoulder at the man who yelled. Not seeing you because you are Invisible but their pace does noticably quicken. You follow them for 20 minutes before they leave the rooftops and drop down onto the street.
Cybele if you want to Track the scent of blood, make a Perception check.

You never lost the Scent Cybele, you made sure to keep track of it during this entire altercation and now that you can move freely, you begin to follow it. It does lead past the southern gate to the city, It turns left sharply and follows along the walls perimeter. For 15 minutes you follow the trail until it just stops. You think you may have lost the trail but it just ends here, near the wall. Looking around there is nothing out of the ordinary, Some wheat and twigs a couple large boulders. Hard packed dirt beneath your feet and the wall seems sturdy.

Carrus races after Cybele, doing his best to keep up with the massive Dire Wolf. He does his best to reassure the civilians as they pass through the city; It's okay. This is a... hunter wolf, part of our armed forces. Not a lie, after all. Stay back, and you will be safe.
He looks in frustration at the apparent dead end. There must be something... some way. He inspects and attempts investigation as best he can, trying to find something hidden. 22
......Seriously guys there are other numbers on a Dice!
CARRUS inspects the wall but finds it solid and weathered but no defects of anykind. Playing a hunch he moves towards the pair of large boulders, While mundane and normal looking, something about them feels off. You give one a tap and its a solid piece of rock, you try the other and hear the noise reverberate on the inside. One of the boulders is not a boulder.

Mojake you find the fake boulder fairly strong, Thinking for a moment you consider that the material may be dense but it should be fairly light. Giving it a shove you move the fake boulder and push it 10 feet away. As the boulder rolls out of the way, It reveals a secret passage hidden beneath.
Dicaeus, the figure is walking at a brisk pace and continues to do so until you get close to the eastern docks. Upon which they entire a small, Seemingly abandoned building.

Gazing into the passage, Carrus speaks to Anax and Wolf Cybele in a low voice. Before we go in, a word. The man I believe responsible for this, Deric, is my sister's husband and my nephew's father. He is a gnat. Less than a gnat. His hand goes instinctively to his sword hilt, but he pulls it back. But... we must not kill the lad's father; it could turn him against our family. My sister is a strong woman, if given to occasional poor judgement like her brother. She is raising my nephew to be a strong man, strong enough to face the shame of his father and rise above it. He must have the chance to look his father in the eye. I would not deny him that.
Cybele will nod and position herself toward the back of the group, since going in Wolf first is probably not the best idea. Her ears will swivel and she'll scan the area to see if anyone is watching them. It occurs to her that if someone is looking for Carrus' sister, they've lead them right to her.

Dicaeus you have been following him for 40 minutes. You have a little bit of time left on your invisibility.
Cybele you do not see anyone watching you but you do catch a strange scent, It smells old and dusty yet you cannot pinpoint where the scent is coming from.
Anaxandros the passage is rough dirt for about 10 feet before you find what looks like a mine shaft, Wooden beams along the walls and a rail system at your feet. During this moment you look at the rails and notice a thin piece of wire stretching from one side of the wall to the other. Able to spot it and stop Carrus from advancing any further. The wire is taught and seems to be a trigger.

Dicaeus takes a mental note of the building's location and then returns to the market square to find his friends waiting for him like he told them gone. He reenters the shop run by Carrus's family, looking more thoroughly for clues that may have been missed, and then waits outside for the others.
"Let's not mess around with this." Anax points to the wire with his longsword, taking care to step over it. He then pulls a piece of chalk from his pocket and marks a large, thick cross on the floor a couple of feet either side of the wire to draw attention to it. Continuing onward, he keeps looking for traps, paying special attention to trip wires. If he finds any, he will repeat the previous process with the chalk to outline the traps for later.
