"Andras?" he asks, drawing his shortbow. "Is everything ok?" He's hopeful this can still turn out better than it seems, but he's also prepared for danger.

You have the option of starting Hildigrim at the square SW of Quillary, or the square east of her, saying that he was moving forwards during his speech, but wasn't able to reach the table before Pascal cast his spell. Or you can chose to leave him in the back.)

Hildigrim moves next to Seren. "Andras?" he asks, drawing his shortbow. "Is everything ok?" The spectral being wails and cries in pain, no glint of sanity in its eyes.
Pascal uses Control Flames to cause the candles to get brighter. For a moment, it looks like the flaring candles will ignite the papers around it, but with a deft touch (DEX save 12), Pascal adjusts the fire to avoid a bonfire.
Jorin takes several deep breaths to pump himself up. (I believe the 7 points from Second Wind gets him back to full health.) He then marches forward, going around the candles, until he is NW of Quillary. He chops at the being, striking at its core (24 to hit). Despite a solid blow (10 points), it is resistant to non-magical weapons.
Quillary steps forward. With her personal experience with the afterlife, she does not sense Andras' mind in this things actions. "Come specter, leave this man's soul be!" She delivers a blow (23 to hit) with her magic club (9 points). While Jorin applauds her strike, Quillary tsk-tsks under her breath. The halo of spores and the poison on her club had no effect. (It is immune to necrotic and poison. Sorry.)
With the others striking, Hildigrim shoots his arrow. Seren tries to interfere with him. "No, you can't hurt my son!" Despite her grabbing his arm, his aim is true (23 to hit), and the magic bow enhances the arrow (9 piercing + 7 sneak attack). Hildigrim yells at her. "That isn't Andras. That is the creature who took away your son!" (Persuasion/Intimidation 17). Seren staggers back in shock. (OOC: She will no longer interfere with the party.)
The Allip floats forward, actually passing through Quillary. It then utters a Howling Babble. (WIS save vs. DC 14). Drusk, Quillary, and Seren make their saves (16, 25, 20) and take 6 points of psychic damage. The others failed their saves (Jorin 12, Hildigrim 6, Pascal 8): they take 12 damage and are Stunned the next round.
Drusk casts Sacred Flame, but the Allip avoids it (DEX save 13).

Interestingly, I had been using the Silvered axe throughout the adventure and just noting that the Battleaxe was doing full damage as well, so I figured I'd start with that this time and see. Besides, I think Jorin would want to use the products of his own hands to strike down this sorcerous creature if possible.
