If Wes is finished with Bek-Bek, Ricky will approach the Kobold.
Mah Dear Bek-Bek! I hardly recognized you, my apologies for Wes here, he must not have recognized you either. You look positively bedraggled Sweetie! Let me help you there...
Rycider will crouch down to adjust his clothing in a gentle and mothering way. Whilst speaking she will make a gesture over her face as though removing an invisible gossamer and weave the enchanted phrase into her words.
... but there you are, you look positively charming.
The kobold sneers at Wes as he is pushed against the wall. "Dumb gnome doesn't even know who is enemy. I not fighting," he says. At Rycider's politeness, he says, "See, tall lady know better. Tall lady polite, even though she casting spell," though he resists the magical charm she attempts to place on him.
Using the manacles and cloth from the orcs' sleeves, the guards are quickly bound and gagged before waking. Aradurk searches their possessions and finds that each orc guard carries a red-tinted stone, a piece of parchment that seems to identify them as a NAGPU temporary employee, and 5 gold pieces. He and Wes then take a moment to investigate the rest of the room. The sacks on the table are made of silk, covered in leather, and sheathed in chainmail. The rings in the basket look well crafted, but otherwise ordinary. Some of the papers scattered across the floor have drawings of a male wizard and a female warrior in various forms of torture. Fumbles does a poor job of hiding his feelings as he walks by them, and appears to be disturbed by the depictions.
"Before anybody splits up, I need to give you all these," Fumbles says as he walks to each member of the party, giving them a stone that looks very similar to those on the orc guards, but tinted green. "These are sending stones that resonate with a specific magical frequency. Speak into this stone and anybody carrying a stone with the same magical tuning will hear your words through their stone. You might want to take the orcs' red stones as well, but be aware that any other orcs with those stones will hear words that you speak through them." He then approaches Bek-Bek, being held against the wall by Wes.
"The Vault. What can you tell us about it?" Fumbles asks.
"What, you think wizard tells Bek-Bek how to get into his secret vault? You as dumb as other gnomes," Bek-Bek replies.
Tracking: The orcs are bound and gagged, and will be asleep for a short while longer. There are eight doors in this large square room, one on each side and corner. A set of double doors in the middle of the room leads back to the magical staircase.
OOC: Each character has received 3 gold pieces and a Sending Stone (Green). Left over from the orcs are 2 gold pieces, 4x temporary NAGPU employment cards, and 4x Sending Stone (Red). As a reminder, please don't update your inventories, I will do so when items are added/removed. This helps me keep track and confirm.
Well then Master Bek-Bek, ah have obviously underestimated you. Such a strong mind! She gently caresses his snout. But ah believe such a strong mind would realize tha current predicament it is in. We are not asking for tha combination here Sweetie, just information. Tell us about the vault.
“Tanakir, if you and Ricki can work with Mr. Bek Bek on the importance of cooperation, that would be great. If I can get Karst, Zikahl, and Wes with me, I want to clear those rooms before we get Fumbles on his task.”

Feisty for a kobold, Bek-Bek's eyes narrow at the ball of fire being held in front of him. "You no want to pick a fight with me. I not fighting you and I have no answers for you. I only responsible for NAGPU goblins and getting sacks to client. Vault is way above my paygrade," he says.
Fumbles takes a long, hard look at the kobold before placing a manacle on the kobolds arm and connecting him to the nearby table, saying, "He's not lying. I don't want to waste any more time here and I know enough to start cracking the vault anyway, let's take care of the rest of the guards and goblins and get moving. We have enough to split up, and we have the stones to communicate, just hold it up to your face and speak into them. Check in frequently."
Wes bolsters himself with magical armor.
OOC: There is a door on each side of the room, a door on each corner of the room, and the center magical staircase. Just let me know where each group is heading and I will resolve.
Bek-Bek rolls his eyes but doesn't put up a fight as he is gagged by Rycider. He doesn't have any possessions on him, but Ricky finds another red-tinted sending stone on the table next to him. The door looks more like just an inset in the wall, and it doesn't look like there's even a way to open it, but Fumbles quickly clears up the confusion, holding a large iron key up to the door, which magically slides open.
Inside, there is some sort of mechanical grinding apparatus that leads to a sack hanging at the end. Glyphs cover the room's floor and walls, and two goblins sitting in the middle of the room playing some sort of dice game barely pay attention to the new entrants. They are unarmed, and don't seem at all bothered that someone just entered the room.
OOC: Just a reminder there are still 2x gp, 4x NAGPU temporary employee identification cards, and 4x Sending Stone (Red) in the room. If nobody wants them, they'll be left there. 1x Sending Stone (Red) from the orcs has been added to Tanakir's inventory.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wes will take whatever good he can, a red stone, an employee card. The determination in Wes’ eyes morphs into curiosity. Being a tinkerer and a wizard seeing machinery and glyphs all at once is quite exciting.
He will look figure out what this machine/glyphs are-
Having picked up a red stone and an ID card Karst follows on, when they get into the next room Karst wil stand ready just outside in case of traps or similar.

Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
OOC: Sending Stone (Red) and NAGPU Identification have been added to Wes and Karst's inventories.
Each character has received 66 XP for defeating the orc guards.
Remember to periodically refresh yourself on the goals of the heist. Fumbles is trusting the party to be on top of things while he concentrates on how to unlock the vault.
Fumbles moves to the north wall and presses the key to the door for Tanakir. A similar sight greets the genasi; a mechanical grinding apparatus with a sack at the output, and two goblins currently snoozing along the back wall. There is also a wooden box a few feet away from the goblins, sitting open.
_______________________
Wes and Rycider examine the apparatus and glyphs while Karst stands ready outside. The sack on the apparatus contains a single ring inside, and appears attached to the machine by a vice-like lock. Around the corner of the machine, Wes finds a wooden box sitting open. From the indentations on the inside it looks to be designed to hold a staff or quarterstaff.
The glyphs are recognizable as anti-magic, and it is unlikely that any magic would work inside of this room.
At Rycider's question, one of the goblins gives her a curious look while the other rolls its eyes and returns to the dice in front of it. "No, NAGPU. On break," the first goblin says, holding up a piece of parchment similar to the identification cards on the orc guards.
Petunia will reappear, Wes will retrieve the two rings in the basket he saw earlier. He would the assist or “help” the investigation if allowed.
