Most of the 'honor guard' have dropped disguises and they're ALL Drow with a mix of other 'savage' races like full Orcs, hobgoblins, and actual goblins! Then a rumbling erupts from the center of the arena as two ankhegs burst from the sandy floor of the arena pinchers snapping as the potential Order now running for their lives attempting to scale the walls into the seats above away from the terrors below!
OOC how many of the other Order members are resisting in any way, are there pockets of fighting or is everyone else just dying, more importantly are there any near us we could team up with?

Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
The Order looks dead or dying. Some pockets of fighting but they're a good 40ft away near tgw arena ever! All seem to be defending the 'voice' of the Order.
Initiative if attacks are planned!!

Sometimes a Nat 1 tells a better story than a Nat 20 ever could.
Let's clear the path and get the hell out of this nightmare, mutters Nat to the others. Tired, confused, a little queasy, the triton is ready to fight his way out.
Retiog sneers and spits on the ground at the orc. "You are about to find out!" He pulls his shield off his back and bangs it with his fist holding his sword as the fire lights in his eyes.
Initiative 10
(As a reminder, if your target is next to Ret you get advantage on the attack - wolf totem.)
(OOC: Or are we far enough away from other 'honor guard' that we might kill these two and make an escape before their friends could reach them?)
OOC: They seem to be the only stragglers up in the area. You can certainly try.
Orc 16
Hobgoblin 6
Intiative order:
Nat
Duc
Orc
Retiog
Drake
Hobgoblin
ROUND 1
Nat up!
Duc on deck!
OOC: No map tonight folks!!
Imagine a set of stone steps that are in an isle that's 10ft wide with the Orc and the Hobgoblin spread with about enough space for Drake to squeeze through them. The 'seats' in the arena are stone and are about three feet stepped going up and down. The door to the Rusty Anchor is ahead about 50ft and trying to go around the two seems pretty impossible and will call more attention to your party!
Nat moves to face the hobgoblin, hoping to draw its attention and allow Drake to get behind it and flank. He draws his shortsword and dagger. He strikes the hobgoblin:
Attack: 26 Damage: 9 Attack: 14 Damage: 3
So, what the hell is this? he asks his opponent. Who are you? Sorry, we're new, and don't know all the different scum in the city yet.
Nat's first attack hits (damage noted) but the second misses. The hobgoblin howls and grits his yellow teeth!
Duc's arrow whizzes past the hobgoblin and then her bowstring snaps, she will have to spend the next round fixing it or use another weapon until she does!!
OOC: Nat's close quarters. Duc's at a distance. Where would the other party members say in relation to the bad-guys in distance and each other? It's an open arena remember so theatre of the mind is going to have to stand until I can get back to my laptop. I'm camping onsite and weather is far too unpredictable and these tents are WAY too old to trust my already shitty electronic lol I SWEAR 2020 is the year I invest in a new laptop y'all!!

Duc unslings her longbow and takes a quick shot at the hobgoblin while Nat is distracting him. "Work together, two on each one of them."

(OOC: I kind of thought Drake was behind / past them a few feet. On his turn I was going to have him attack from behind from stealth)
(Nat needs to add some sneak attack... Ret would be up next to the orc. Which would put me adjacent to the hobo as well right?l
(If allowed, then Nat's sneak attack damage on the hobgoblin would have been 5 and 5)
Not too bad...
(2d6 for the crit.)
