(It looks like you didn't add the feat to your character sheet yet. Also, would your bonus be +4 instead of +5 on that roll? The outcome is the same either way.)
Martin lines up a shot, firing across the street to the rooftop of the building where the assassin is frozen and exposed. One arrow strikes true, piercing the assassin just above his clavicle. The other pierces the man's leather armor, but does not pierce flesh.
(Yes, I’m sorry, I’m realizing I looked at the wrong thing in adding numbers. And I don’t actually own the content to add feats, so I just didn’t add one in my character sheet. I think I wrote it in the description on my sheet, but it’s possible I forgot)
Althus pulls out his maul, moving towards the door of the bedroom. He knocks, "Miss Viviora! Miss Axonia! Are you alright?"
Unless the door opens, he does not go in, choosing to stand guard at any of the entrances to the room they're in and try to intercept the face of anyone trying to break in with his maul.
Bulwark looks out of the window, attempting to see the assassin. If he does so, and he's withing 30ft, he'll launch himself from the window and run towards the assassin, taking his maul out if he makes it to him and taking a swing, raging as he does so. He'll use his Action Surge to get within range if he doesn't make it using only his movement.

Bulwark squeezes his massive frame out the window, taking 0 damage from the broken shards of glass. It all falls away as he grabs onto the windowsill and dangles his feet a full story below him. He lets go, falling 20 feet to the ground with a shuddering thud and taking another 3 damage from the fall. He races across the street and reaches up, grabbing the windowsill on the second story and beginning to climb.

Tock switches his weapons and then pokes his head around the corner and fires at the assassin, landing an excellent shot in the man's chest. He then swings out the window behind Bulwark and begins to scale down with a little more finesse than Bulwark managed. A drain spot on the corner of the building is within reach and he makes use of that for the first 10 feet, nearly pulling it off the side of the building.
Tock, feeling the drainpipe groaning under his weight, tries to make it back to the windowsill on the second floor. His grip strength gives out, though, and he plummets almost 20 feet to the ground, landing roughly on his legs and taking 6 damage. The only upside is that he manages to hobble to the middle of the street before Gash...
"Althus, get ready. You're up. Get as close to the window as you can."
Gash backs up and takes a running start and leaps out of the window and casts Misty Step and appears next to the assassin. He points at Althus, and says, "You ready for this?!" and uses Benign Transposition to swap places with Althus.
Benign Transposition:
Benign TranspositionPHB, pg. 116
You can use your action to teleport up to 30 ft. to an unoccupied space that you can see, or you can choose to swap places with a Small or Medium willing creature within range. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest or you cast a conjuration spell of 1st level or higher.
(ooc: i know the assassin is only 30ft away already i just wanted to add a little extra flare by jumping out of a window lol also sorry Dog! this coulda been you :( i was waiting for the perfect time but it never happened.)

(Althus is more than 30 feet away for the benign transposition, since he wasn't standing right at the window, but you can ready it for when he gets in range.
Before Althus can even move into position, Martin sends an arrow into the assassin's chest and a second one through his eye. He slumps over, dead.
Anyone who searches him first (Gash is closest):
He has a +1 crossbow and 5 +1 bolts as well as a used vial with a label that reads "Oil of Sharpness" on it. He also has two mundane daggers, 15 mundane bolts, and mundane black leather armor.
“Crap...” Martin laments the lost opportunity for interrogating the now dead assassin. He moves to the door where Viviora and Axonia went. ”Everyone okay? I think you can come out now.”
The assassin freezes in place, failing to outmaneuver Gash as the goblin lets his spell fly.
The assassin's turn-
WIS(15) saving throw: 5
The assassin continues to be held by Gash's spell. Althus, Bulwark, and Martin are up next.
Martin gets to a position to see the assassin and shoots twice, aiming for the head (sharpshooter shots)

Tock, on his turn, takes a shot at the assassin:
Attack: 22 Damage: 23
He then swings through the open window (or opens it first) and starts just climbing down the building, move + bonus action Dash.
"We're safe," says Axonia in a muffled reply. "Take care of the assassin!"
Bulwark is up.

It is a 30 foot drop to the street and then 20 feet to cross the street and then a 30 foot climb, unless you plan to leap to another building!
Tock will try to lower himself down as fast as possible, taking risks if needed.
