X, Sildar walks forward but Gundren puts his hand up to stall him, before regarding you for a long while. He then grins, and nods. Excellent. That's exactly what we want. There's bandits and the like all over the High Road these days, it's no place for men who don't mean business.
I (Soron) finish the rest of my drink , go outside , take a breath of fresh air and then head to my room and meditate for the night, after i hopefully get an answer to my question (my season wont change unless i state that, currently : Autumn )
Mining supplies, mostly, says Gundren. Picks, shovels, some barrels of dried fruits. Phandalin's a mining town, so they've always need of good equipment. Here, you'd better keep this. He rolls up the map, puts it in a circular leather tube and hands it to you. You notice that he has a similar tube hanging from his belt.
(Soron, please add 'Map of the Sword Coast' to your equipment, in the 'Other Possessions' section')
Excellent!Steinarr stands up and heads towards the door. I'll collect my things and meet you in the morning. Gundren if anything happens to me you know where to forward my pay.
(Soron) I look out the window, is it morning ?If yes do i have enough time to run to a shop buy some incense and herbs(10gp worth) and then find some charcoal? If yes i'll do that
Before dawn, you assemble in front of the tavern. You are an unusual group, perhaps: a goliath, a high elf, an eladrin elf, a human and a half orc. Well, perhaps not that unusual; this is Neverwinter after all, a renowned city of adventure.
Gundren and Sildar are there to greet you. Sildar is holding the silver-coloured reigns of two fine horses, while Gundren makes a final inspection of the cart and the two oxen that will pull it. When you are all ready, Gundren speaks to you.
Well, once again, thank you for taking this job. Remember, south along the High Road, then turn east, then south to Phandlin. Sildar and I will ride ahead, we'll probably reach Phandalin a day before you. I've got some business to attend to there urgently. He smiles suddenly. You might find a fair amount of good work in Phandalin in the future, my friends. Something big is coming, something that will make a lot of people's fortunes. Sildar clears his throat and Gundren shrugs. Well, anyway, time to be off. There are some rations in the wagon on the passenger seat, help yourselves. See you in Phandalin. With that, Sildar and Gundren mount their horses and set off at a good speed towards the city gate.
The cart is piled with supplies, and there isn't really space for anyone to ride in the back. There are two seats in front; a driver's seat and a passenger seat. Everyone else will need to walk.
Whoever takes the reigns, please give me an Animal Handling check as you control the oxen.
Let me know who, if anyone, takes the passenger seat, and for everyone else, whether you are walking in front, behind, or with the cart.
Soron, as the cart moves through the pre-dawn city, most shops are closed. Make an Investigation check to find a general store that might open up specially to sell you some incense, charcoal and herbs.
(ooc- Filling in due to my absence last night. Pardon that due to trying to purchase a home...In the middle of a bidding war)
I had arrived early to deliver a package to Gundren as the remainder of the debt the Druidic Circle (which I am a member of as I have just passed my apprenticeship) owes him for helping us in the past. You see I am a female Elf (about 5 and a half feet if you were to guess) with dark grey almost black long hair with a few stripes of another color you cant make out due to the lighting in the room. You notice a set of extremely bright green eyes as I observe all of the party members one by one and as I look at you directly. In the very few movements I make looking from person to person you noticed a marking of some sort on my upper chest, but as I seem odd, nobody asks. During the time she looked at you closely, you felt both a sense of calming and reassurance, followed by what you can only describe as a mental probing, followed by a sense of relief as she looked away. As everyone leaves I remain seated and you all notice the green and brown cloak with purple embroidery written in a language you do not understand (Druidic). You observe the absence of drink the whole night as well as the fact I don't speak the whole night.
Soron, just as the cart is leaving, you notice a general goods shop that is opening up very early, probably to catch worshippers as they head in for morning service in one of the city's large temples. You are able to buy the items you need for exactly ten gold pieces.
(OOC: First roll and check of the campaign is a success!)
I jump down from the overhang of a shop as I was listening to our instructions from afar and introduce myself I am Kylara, it was interesting to meet your aquantinces. You can all call me Kyla.Looks directly at Solon for a long time. (changes to elvish) Except you Solon.
You all notice they there is blue streaks in her hair and she has a tattoo on her chest and on her arms to the middle of her hands. Her shield is strapped to her back and club is strapped to her belt.
I will not be driving these Oxen, I prefer to stretch my legs.(replying to Steinarr)I then move to walk beside the cart and keep about 30-60 feet away as the terrain permits. (as we leave the city I grab my club but leave my shield on my back)

Demetrio slowly stands up and before he heads towards his room for the night
“Be ready to head out early tomorrow, sooner we leave the sooner we get paid”
I (X) start heading toward my room as well You want to see business?.....You'll think I'm running an entire industry I say as I walk past Gundren
Interesting. I say pointing at Steinarr, then i turn and look at Gundren and say:
What is the item we are delivering? if you don't mind me asking.

Demetrio decides to walk ahead of the cart. Not to far ahead maybe about twenty feet in front of it.

Soron walks 10-15 feet behind the cart looking for an open shop
Soron catches up with the cart and say : I have no money left, but i'm as happy as i could be right now!
walking with 3 small-medium sacks trying to find a place in his backpack for them
I (X) will walk beside the cart, on the left side
I (X) will also be holding my warhammer in both hands as we travel
I’ll take the reins then unless anyone else wants to?
Steinarr clambers up onto the cart and flicks the reins to get the oxen moving.
Animal handling: 11
