Brom, the key fits and turns. The door opens, and you look in upon a small room.
Racks of weapons line the walls of this chamber, including spears, swords, crossbows, and bolts. A dozen dirty red cloaks hang from hooks by the door. The weapon racks hold twelve spears, six shortswords, four longswords, six shortbows, and eight quivers holding twenty arrows each.
"They really know how to keep stocked. Any of you have an idea for ways to take advantage of these cloaks they left here? Maybe a disguise or something?" Delmon says as he mvoes over to the weapon rack holding spears. He pulls one out and hefts it checking for how balanced it is. "These seem made well enough, perhaps I'll take one." He takes sometime going through the spears deciding which one seems to be made with less imperfections. (shaft that wont leave splinters in your hand, spear heads that aren't chipped or cracked from use, etc.)
"You're right, Delmon. These cloaks could come in useful should we wish to pass ourselves off as Redbrands - might be better than fighting our way through every meeting."
Leo will take one of the more intact red cloaks as well as a short bow ((I'm guessing there aren't any long bows? If there are then he would grab one of those instead)) and a quiver of 20 arrows.
Ophirinn looks at the room with concern. "The red cloaks might work for some of us, but there is not a chance of me and Brom fooling anyone. I don't like the idea that the Redbrands have this sort of weaponry at their disposal, but I had an idea for that. We fashion way of carrying or dragging all these weapons using the red clocks as the carrying device, and have the prisoners take them for defence... Once we have saved them"
"Might there be a way we can destroy the weapons we do not use? I agree Ophirinn, armories such as this should be cause for concern... it seems like these Redbrands have quite a lot of finance to hand. Are we to believe these weapons were stolen? Or financed through stealing from a few townsfolk alone?"
"I agree with Ophirinn as well, certainly some of us can pass as redbrands bit not all of us. And arming the prisoners only makes sense. Sure we can defend them as best we can but there is always a chance they may fall into a situation where they need to defend themselves, rather they have weapons then nothing at all." Delmon finally decided in a spear at this point, "Yes, this will work just fine." Turning to the group again, "So where to now? Do we know where the prisoners are kept?"
Nate listens on as the party discusses everything and is agreeing with basically everything.
"You guys are right about these weapons... this could arm quite a force and I think these will be best suited in the hands of the prisoners. I... I think I could pass as a Redbrand too given that I'm, well, human and all." Nate looks at Delmon and Omnia (the humans) "We could try and play dress up..."
Nate will grab one redbrand cloak.
Nate then turns directly to Delmon: "Good question..." and then turns to Droop: "Droop - do we have to go through that door out there in the hallway to the south with the bonemen to get to the prisoners? Is there a different way to get to them?"
Nate, Droop nods sadly. Yes. Only way is past bone men. No other way. They hurt goblins. They don't hurt red men, but they hurt goblins. Friend got stabbed bad and then dead. He looks sad, and definitely doesn't want to go through the door.
Omnia who has been watching and listening with intent will grab a red cloak and put it on "oooh a souvenir, right then if that's the only way we can go then that way it is. Think I will restock my arrows though before we go" she grabs a hand full of arrows and puts them in her quiver.
Ophirinn breaths in deeply. "So, this plan is to go into the next room slay the "Bone-men", rescue the prisons, get back here provide them with weapons, take the rest with us, and escape." Ophirinn goes to the other door "Are we ready?!?"
Nate is startled by Ophirinn's enthusiasm and is happy to hear that he wasn't going to have to fake being a Redbrand. (OOC: Unless we did want to try that?)
"Yeah!!!"Nate responds with equal enthusiasm, hoping no one else mentions dressing up as a Redbrand. He looks at Omnia with the cloak on and snickers a bit. "Ms. Redbrand!"
Looks over to Droop: "Thank you Droop. You might want to stay back in this room while we take care of things. Unless.... can you fight?!"
Delmon looks up from his new spear to the group, "I'm ready, though I do hope these bone men don't pose as much of a threat as the last group did. Thank you Droop for your help, thanks to you we know what to expect. I'd suggest you stay here, in this armory. Wait for us to get back and we can get you out of here, I promise." Delmon then heads to the door, ready to move on to the bone man room.
Nate looks over at the tank which is Delmon "Agreed. That smash you took earlier would've killed me I think. I'm going to need... a buffer. Oh and remember, I do have one other potion left if you or anyone else needs it after this. I will see you all on the other side..."
Nate's body shifts and almost looks like it blinks a few times and then he all of a sudden is a Giant Lizard. He crawls down the hall and waits for someone to open the bone men door (he can't with his Lizard paws. ha ha)
OOC: I was just thinking... The Giant Lizard might be too big for the hallway, and likely too big for the doorways. If that is the case, will you allow me to change that to a Panther instead? If the Lizard is ok though I'll definitely stay with that.
Sorry!

Delmon, you grasp the handle of the door, turn it and push. It's locked. Pulling doesn't work either.
Nate sees Delmon trying to get the door open.
"Brom - the key!!" Nate probably says this too loud because he's excited. Hopefully no one heard him in the south door.
OOC: door is 15 feet away I'm sure no one heard him :)
Leo shoots Delmon a little smirk, “The key might help... lucky Nate spoke up before you took that maul to it.”

Brom would try the key but careful not to try to force it and risk breaking the key and the lock

Nate is a bit excited looking at all of this stuff. "Wow... look at all of this stuff."
Nate will take one of the Spears.
"Guys looks like we might have to open that other door... maybe we should try knocking on it and then ambush-style?"
Nate watches on as the others go about the weapon room.
