the woman from the ship steps into the room where you all are. Now that you have a chance to get a better look at her without the chaos of a fight and crashing ship you notice a few things. The first is the two pistols sitting in holsters on her hips followed by the rifle looking contraption on her back. The most eye-catching thing, however, is her left arm or more accurately lack of one as it appears to be made purely of metal. The design is sleek and well crafted. some of you have seen people with prosthetics like this before but none of them were as sleek and well crafted most were large or easily distinguishable this looked almost no different save for the shine of the metal and the glowing arcane runes. Sarisa and Augustus you both recognize this woman.
Next part is meant for Sarisa and Augustus I won't be mad if you read it but if you don't want to know more than your character don't read
Sarisa, this is a childhood friend of yours from Ebonfall Bianca Faust a tinkerer and inventor much like yourself although last time you saw her she had both her arms. You remember that as a child she was a bit of the quieter type not quite as outgoing as the other kids but was also incredibly optimistic in her own way. Augustus, you recognize her from your time home at Pinewatch, your parents introduced you to her (the reason is entirely up to you) when she last came through there on "business" as she put it you remember she was rather straight forward and to the point in your meeting
The woman walks up to stand in view of you all and introduces herself. "My name is Bianca Faust and I'm sure you all have a lot of questions, to start we are in the town of Coghaven, about halfway to Gearport, as to how you all survived the crash that was thanks to me as well, I've picked up quite a few tricks in my time, thirdly as to the state of your equipment the villagers and I salvaged what we could but some things were destroyed in the crash, and lastly you've all been out for about three days now." The woman grabs a chair and turns it around resting her arms on the back of it.
Roarken finishes his food as Bianca speaks to them all. He sets the plate down on the small table beside the bed and begins to speak. As he does so, the sheet covering him falls away, leaving him completely naked as he grabs the provided clothes. He does not seem embarrassed, but neither does he seem to be preening. He acts as if being without clothes in front of strangers is perfectly normal.
"I thank you, Bianca Faust. I am Roarken. I come from Frost Vale, a small town at the base of Ice Spear, in what you southerners call the White Cap Mountains." By now he is covered from the waist down. He pauses as he pulls a tunic over his head. "I am simply exploring the world, and was traveling to this southern city of, um, Gearport, yes? I have lost very little in the crash. I did lose my lute, which can be replaced, but my scroll case holding maps of the places I have been must be lost. Replacing them may take too long for me to accomplish. Again, I thank you, and the people of this town, for aiding in our survival. I am curious, though. Did any of the pirates that attacked the ship survive? I would like to speak with them if they did."
Smiling as I recognize this ephemeral from before, I say "SO nice to see you again, Bianca! I must say, it was most unexpected to see you aboard the airship before our untimely descent. As for whatever tricks you have that saved my tender hide, I'm very thankful. Were you on the airship for the same kind of 'business' as before in Pinewatch?" He asks, looking at the other injured passengers in the room. Finished dressing, he looks around for the majority of the gear she mentioned, interested in seeing what survived. "Where'd you put my gear? I'd like to check it out."
OOC - Storyline : She was hunting bounty and tracking a pretend tinkerer that had moved through our city weeks earlier. Turns out he was an assassin, but had been caught in the act by our city guards and was being put on trial, so she hung around and was feted by my family for a week as a compensation for her trouble. His head was delivered after the trial, so she could collect the bounty at a slightly reduced amount.

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
"We were the only survivors of the crash though I'm sure there are more of that band out there." She stands and stretches then goes and retrieves five bags and places them at your beds. "This is what I could salvage from the crash." Bianca walks over to a large table and rolls out a map "there's a river convoy headed to Gearport in a day I'm taking it and if you all wish to get to gearport anytime soon I suggest you do as well." She makes a few measurements and marks on the map before rolling it back up. "Yes, Augustus my time on the Monarch was for business though not the same kind that brought me to Pinewatch though. Apparently, the secrecy of it was not well kept as the attack on the monarch proves. The boat leaves in a day if there's anything you want to do I suggest you do it now."
Varel gave Bianca a broad smile, "Well I suppose I must join the choir of thanks for what you did back on the airship. What with being stuck in the ship's confines as it was going down would have been troublesome for me to deal with under the circumstances, so please accept my thanks as well as some healthy respect for your skills. I'll have to compose a ballad or some such in your honor" He looks over the clothes offered before nodding and pulling them on over his underclothes. He glanced askance at Roarken quirking an eyebrow at his momentary nudity but he chose not to comment just now. He didn't miss the mild subtext behind some of the conversation though. "Thanks aside, are you saying the targeting of our ship by pirates might have had something to do with you?" It was a bit more excitement than I had expected.
"Quite possibly yes though doubt your being on the ship was a coincidence. did you ever wonder how you all just happen to come across tickets to one of the most luxurious airships in all of Arcadia." Bianca leans back against the table crossing her arms. "I for one do not believe in coincidences I think whoever got you those tickets wanted you on that ship with me. I don't think they planned the attack but I think they mean to draw you all to them. Question is what are you going to do about it?"
With a small grin, Augustus digs into the bag holding his gear, doing a quick inventory before frowning as he notices the missing clothes. "Oh."He says. "My good clothes are missing. What do I wear when I'm not travelling?" A slow sigh, and then he takes off the plain clothes and starts dressing in his traveler's gear. "This'll have to do for now. I need to do some serious shopping when we get to Gearport." With that, he packs up all his gear and dons the basics of his armour and weapons. "Let's see what's here, but yet, you can sign me up for the next boat out."

Grabbing his sword, he swings it over his back.
"I'll go gather some materials for my mutagens. Don't die till i'm back."
"Bianca Faust, of Ebonfall how are you going? Its been a long time hasn't it? What, have you done to your arm? Metal I see well it still looks elegant on you," She says with a smile then gave her a quick hug. But pulled back revealing an annoyed look.
"Thank you, Bianca for saving me and you are right you left me with more questions and answers. I've rather conveniently been left without my choice clothing, and some of my weapons namely a nice hammer.
"I don't suppose you can tell me who the attackers were that raided the Monarch. I would rather learn about them sooner than later. Very, well then Bianca you have intrigued me enough. I will be coming with you on the pleasure cruise to Gearport. Do try to not leave out the word 'pleasure,' this time," She adds.
"Oh, and I don't suppose you will be able to reimburse me for the inconvenience. Like restocking my weapons and armor,"?
Sarisa said a little tired. She, reluctantly signs up for passage on a boat to Gearport.
(Sarisa didn't read the spoiler this time! If she knows Bianca now is the time to tell! Sarisa has recovered all of her spells, and her hit points. She however, has lost her light hammer, clothing, abacus, crossbow. Does she still have one +1 hammer for melee purposes to use?)
Exploring the place where he has made this inadvertent landfall, Augustus looks for interesting groups or places to relax and dance the night until the wee hours, then back to bed, ready to script a new dream during his meditation hours.

He rummaged around his pack for a bit before pulling out a rather elaborate pan flute. "That being said, I heard mention of a tavern which will give me a bit of much needed practice. Have to shake off the rust my three day nap has undoubtedly caused." As he moved to catch up to Augustus. "Stick with me, and sure as my name is Varel Shelton, we'll earn enough coin to set you up right proper . . . probably." "He gave the elf a roguish wink as they set out.

Bianca sits next to you (Sarisa) and leans back against the bar. She pulls out a pack of cigarettes and pulls one out. She then stows the pack back in it’s pocket and holding the cigarette in her right hand before flicking her left thumb and a creating a small flame. She lights the cigarette then takes a drag. “Been a while since we last saw each other huh.” It wasn’t a question exactly more of a statement. “How have you been?”
Spending a bit of time scouting out the boat (and it's passengers), Augustus peruses the offered entertainments on this utilitarian craft. Seeing nothing of immediate interest, he bemoans the loss of his chess set and ponders if he could find a deck of cards and a few unsuspecting, wealthy opponents.

As they have a few hours before they need to board the ship, Roarken asks Caroline to assign him some tasks so he can feel he earned his care and food, not to mention the basic traveling clothes provided. He helps move some heavy items and cleans the bedding the group used. He then thanks Caroline profusely once more, then finds the ship. He has no money so he asks if he can work passage to their destination. He is not terribly used to shipboard life, but again, his strength and endurance make him useful. He is not surprised to be assigned the late night watches and shifts, but seems to accept his lot cheerfully.
With a lack of other amusements, Varel kept himself occupied playing his pan flute. As he played, golden musical notes danced around him, spiraling to the tune of his melody. He closed his eyes, engrossed in his playing, and feeling a bit more like himself since the disastrous encounter aboard the airship.
"Yes, it has been a long time Bianca I think we we were barely teenagers. I have been keeping well thinking of becoming a pilot. Heard that it can become a fruitful venture. You, always did manage to get yourself into a lot of scrapes. So, what do you expect to find in Gearport fame and fortune again,"? She said, looking with interest at her artificial arm.
"But, still I would like to know who was responsible for the raid on the Monarch? The, same thing could happen to us on this steam ship. Well, we will just have to wait and see,"Sarisa said taking another drink from her pint of ale. Offering her up a smile.

"I've spent most of my recent time in ancient civ ruins. Luckily I've been able to find quite a few employers and benefactors interested in my research about the ancient civ, of course, the work is rather dangerous as are the ruins themselves and finding adventures competent enough to assist my excursions is difficult and the nature of my research is incredibly valuable to certain parties so I have to be careful of what I do. Honestly, that's probably part of why we were attacked. but other than the occasional scuff like before things have been going well." Bianca notices Sarisa looking at her arm and sets it on the table "this is the result of one of my more recent trips a loss of my arm but thankfully I recovered some blueprints on how to build a replacement, it's quite the upgrade from the original and includes a few extra tricks."
