Darrimus sits and finishes his meal alone(unless someone else comes up). He ponders over what may happen but accepts that there is not much he can do to change whatever plans these forces have for him. Darrimus gets up and goes to Moran and says, "It's time for a visit to the Jolly Flopper. I will go in first, you come in behind me a few moments later. Do not engage my parents and do not engage with me. We will leave after having one drink and head back to camp ."
they proceed to the Jolly Flopper stealthily and observing if they are being followed.
As the two scouts still dressed in disguise round the corner of a street they see the Jolly Flopper.
From the outside it looks rustic, cheerful and warm. Small stones and wooden pillars make up most of the building's outer structure. It's impossible to see through the windows, but the passionate voices from within can be felt outside.
As Darrimus enters the tavern through the huge, hardwooden door, he is welcomed by overall happiness and amazing, but familiar scents.
The bartender, who Darrimus immediately recognizes as his mom, is working up a sweat, but still manages to welcome you with a short wave.
It's as lovely inside as it is on the outside. While not quite as large as the Mead Mansion, it was still warm and clean. Several walls support the upper floor and the huge lamps attached to them. The walls are swarmed with flags of all sorts and sizes. Some are from nearby towns or provinces, others from the far corners of the world. The tavern itself is busy, but not packed. There are a few seats at some some small tables and some seats at the bar. Locals seem to be the primary clientele here who are content with sitting, drinking and talking. Several long tables are occupied by happy, excited groups of people deep in conversation while the other, smaller tables are busy doing the same. Darrimus looks behind the bar to see his father busy washing glasses.

Darrimus will go up to the bar and order a drink. He mainly wants to see if his mother recognizes him. “Excuse me miss? What do you have that’ll put hair on a mans chest?”
"Why certainly" she glances at the clock above the fireplace "it is 7 o'clock." Moran enters the tavern and grabs a seat at a small table on the other side of the room.
After about a hour all seems well. Some customers have come and gone, but Darrimus keen eye has noticed a something. There is a small table that is neither eating or drinking. Just nursing a single beer for the past hour.
Darrimus walks over the table and jovially says in his southern accent to the table, "Well hello theyar! If I must say so myself you all don't seem to Jolly to be at the Jolly Flopper! We must change that as tonight is a night of celebration!"
Darrimus waves at his mother, "Barkeep! Can we get a round of your strongest alcohol for my new friends here! It's on me!"
Darrimus then pulls up a chair uninvited to the table, "Ah yes! I do love to meet new individuals! You know I was over at the Mead Mansion earlier and now I am here. It seems to be a nice little town. What do you all like to do at night for fun around here?"

The two men, one with red, shaggy hair that almost fully covers a fine, frowning face and the other with black, coily hair slightly that reveals a strong, unwavering face, look at each other and then the one with red shaggy hair begins to speak "Sorry we don't really drink much. We appreciate the offer but we were just out a bit too late and were thinking about going home anyway. If you like to listen to music I suggest going back to the Mead Mansion."
Darrimus opens his arms wide. "Ah! Come now! The drinks have been ordered. I've got a hankerin' for a conversation before I get back on the road tomorrow. But, I might stick around to see this duel everyone's talking about. If you don't drink could I buy you a meal?"
The man with black, coily hair turns to Darrimus and says "We appreciate the offer, but we really must be going." Both men stand up and head towards the door.
Darrimus half smiles and half frowns, "I understand. Well I believe that's the end of my stay here. I might take your advice on heading back over to the Mead Mansion. Or search the streets for some female companionship! Not sure if I want to compete with that dwarf."
Darrimus gets up and stretches. He then begins to follow the men out the door. When the men are in front of him and not looking he will seek to make eye contact with Moran and nod toward his parents trying to relay the message for him to keep an eye on them.
Darrimus goes out and stands looking around the streets. What does he see? Specifically, where are the two guys going.
As Darrimus peeks around the corner slowly, he is greeted by the face of the red haired man about a foot away. The red haired man lets out a brief scream and jumps back a few feet and says "My Lord man, what do ye think ye are doing?"
"Ah there be no ladies down here. Now if you a'goin to the Mead Mansion, it is down that way over there." the man points with his hand. "And 'ay we were on the way home when we stepped in here to light a smoke."

Darrimus smiles, "Geeze! Well hope I have more luck at the Mead Mansion for loose women!"
Darrimus starts to walk off then turns back.
"Say, my breath kinda smells like a oxen's arse. Any chance I can buy a smoke of you? Don't worry I'm not one of those who just ask for everything for free."
You can clearly tell that the men were lying from before. They don't smell like smoke, nor do they have anything in their hands.

Darrimus considers his options and then makes the best call he can. He looks to both men.
Darrimus jokingly says, "Well... I guess I should have wore my boots today because the bull crap around here is gettin' pretty deep."
Darrimus then becomes deathly serious, "You see friends. You ain't the only one that's been lyin' tonight. I ain't here to have fun. I'm here on a job. You see, my mercenary warband has been contracted to keep this establishment and two individuals inside of it safe. All threats are to be neutralized effectively.
Darrimus then compassionately says, "You two seem alright and haven't posed a threat yet so I'd hate for ya'll to get caught up in this. There are much larger things at work than you can ever imagine. You all are some unfortunate pawns in this whole thing. Ya'll have two options. The first, you can really continue on your way home. You will go straight there and not communicate with anyone about what has happened here tonight. You will be followed by our men. They are very good so you will not see them. If you do anything that could be considered a threat or conspirin' to be a threat, you and anyone else in your home will be eliminated."
Darrimus then sighs, "The other option is for you to die like dogs here in this alley. I really hope you choose the first one as I'd hate to cut you stem to stern right here."
Darrimus then opens his cloak to reveal his two daggers, "But, if you wanna die then... Say When..."
The red haired man looks like he just pissed himself and says "We aren't gettin' paid enough for this I'm out!" as he turns to run away. The other man quickly turns and follows. Darrimus sees both men run down and exit the other side of the alley.

Your mom seems to distracted serving other patrons to truly look at you. She replies with "The ale is good and strong. Would ya like one?"
Darrimus tries not to smile back at his mother.
"Yes, please that's all for now. Actually, would you have the time?
