Gilari's grip unclenches slightly from his maul as Cirrus and his fellow Stonekin successfully bargain for the thief's life. It wouldn't have been his choice as to how to save the man, but then everyone but him seemed to have an answer that wasn't violence. Still it galled him somewhat to yet again be compromising with these goblins. "I'm going to see if Klarg had anything of worth to us tucked away" his face twisted by a snarl.
And he steps away towards the other cave.

Gilari trudges off to the other cave where Klarg had been. Looking through everything, a little bit at a time, Gilari see's that for the most part, it's small weapons shipments of average grade weapons of every kind. A few trunks of armor of varying but average grade quality. Spices, salts, around 80 days of rations for a single person, Some other generic supplies, toolkits etc. However, nothing in particular stood out as special, though all of it was available for taking
(if you want to try to find anything on the Adventuring gear, to tools etc you may roll to see if you find it. 1d100, and if its 40-60 on the roll, it's there, with a 1d4 to determine how much. Up to a total of 8 items. other than the ones I already mentioned)
There is also some(where, one, thing) you can loot. Only clue I'm giving, and I don't normally give these clues. Hint Hint Nudge Nudge.
(Well I cant out DM a nat 20.... My own rules on that is nat 20's and 1's are always worth something...)
Herman goes with Gilari, easily sensing the mans rage the entire time. Helping him rout around in the stuff. After a few moments, Herman pauses... realizing that Klargs Morningstar was here..... in the room. That massive club..... If it could damage the stone so much, such a thing HAD to be powerful, or atleast made of better quality than expected. Walking over to it, lying near Klargs throne, was the Massive morningstar.... Either of the Goliaths could use it..... Though Vimak was readying himself outside the cave, gettign ready to move the goods, And vimak was still seething.
The question is.. which one gets it?

Aside from the morning star, Herman finds a sack behind the throne, Filled with 70 gold.
Herman is more interested in the 70 gold (and that's actually the perfect loot since I was planning on switching characters. I now have a good in-character reason to!).
Herman happily slings the gold sack over his shoulder and examines the morning star a bit. He then decides that he doesn't want to be the one holding the morning star if two angry goliaths want it so he will give it to Cirrus and tell the Genasi to decide who to give it to. As for the gold, he will obviously share it with the other 3, netting everyone 17 gold and 5 silver.
(No, the morning star has nothing to do with my new character. I was talking about the gold sack because Herman likes gold. The handing the weapon to Cirrus was just RP. Herman wants nothing to do with deciding who get the weapon.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gilari wets his finger with his tongue and samples a few of the spices for their flavour, with a tenative sucking sound. Finding a couple to his liking he slips them, and some salt and 5 days worth of rations into his belt pouch thinking "useful to trade, share or just to make that last bit of yak jerky somehow more palatable."
He searches through the stacked trunks of armour, knowing that though unlikely, he might just be in luck for some Splint Armour to avoid a few more of the knocks and scrapes he's encountered on the way. (GM not sure if you want a roll or not for that?). Turning through the remaining supplies, he uncovers some interesting finds, which in the spirit of endeavour and self sufficency he slips into his back pack to hopefully better aid the group at a later stage. (Looking for: Portable Ram: 86; Spyglass: 6; Manacles: 9; Signal Whistle: 96; Caltrops: 14; Alchemist's Fire: 44; Mirror, steel: 3; Healer's Kit: 73; )
EDIT: SO looks like only the Alchemist's Fire to roll for; of which I find 4.
With the unconscious thief tied to the cart, and a Morningstar now in his hand to figure out who to give it to, Cirrus waits at the mouth of the cave for the rest of his party, listening in case anything goes awry (passive perception: 14). In the meantime, Cirrus has the chest with the silk coming out of it and takes out his knife. He will try to use his knife to saw a hole in the top of the chest. At best, he can reach in and grab whatever is in the chest, at worst, he can look into the chest and see what's inside it.

You can't drown someone with Create Water. If your lungs are containers than your bones are objects. Any Siege monster that attacks you deals double damage because it’s attacking your bones.
Vimak puts his shield and ax within easy reach at the front of the wagon. He rolls his shoulders and flexes his fingers, reaches back to grip the wooden sway bar, and begins walking the way the party came, pulling the wagon. He whistles Dwarven drinking and eating songs as he goes.
Gilari shrugs after trawling through the piles of quite ordinary goods and turning up a few meagre supplies. "Well, you were King of very little, Klarg..." He smirks, and slopes back out of the cave.
He takes in Vimak pulling the cart back from whence they came, and Cirrus scrabbling at a chest on which was leaning a weapon of incredible size, one that Cirrus himself might even struggle to handle. He walks so that his shadow casts down over Cirrus' work. "It is time to get moving again. Any luck with that?" Cirrus almost manages to pierce it, but it slides off the top at the last second."It would appear you need more time for that, but I fear further delay at this place." Gulari flexes and stretches his back for a moment, then leans down grips the morningstar, and then scoops the chest under the other. "Let me help you with these, you can tinker later." And with that he strides after Vimak.
Next time the Herman passes by Cirrus, Cirrus will stop him for a moment to speak. "I just wanted to... well, thank you for saving my life. I'm on a mission of sorts, and I'm eternally grateful that you have allowed me to continue my search. I hope that one day I can truly express my gratitude and reward your selflessness."
When Gilari takes the things form Cirrus, he says "Thank you Gilari, when we are able to get a breather in Phandalin, I have an idea for how we will decide who will get to keep that Morningstar."
Cirrus takes his second costume and uses it to help Sildar be decent. However, it is an ankle length skirt with rose patterns embroidered in it, so it may not do much to recover his dignity.
Cirrus heads to the cart, wolves trailing behind him. Cirrus makes sure that Vimak is heading towards Phandalin, and directs him accordingly if not.

Herman will say to Cirrus, this time the mask completely obscuring anything he might be thinking. "A mission eh? Hope it's worth almost dying for." He pauses for a bit and says, "Yeah, you definitely owe me one for saving you there. You can make it up to me by buying me Elvish Ale when we get to town."
