The Devil's Ride, as you rev the engine, roars with infernal power. It's like it's being fuelled by fire itself, and handles magnificently. It has massive horsepower and accelerates extremely rapidly. It's soul fuel will run out at the end of the day. The Tormentor, the four man vehicle, is even more impressive. Armed with a harpoon launcher, it can even defend itself and has grooved tires for ramming into other vehicles. The engine is enormous, and roars as you push down on the accelerator.
The Devil's Ride has room for one, and the Tormentor has room for 4. Those who do not fit have to walk the 10 miles back, or someone can take the Tormentor twice, for example, and make two trips.
Lulu is excited to get the main mission underway, but understands you all need rest. From this point on, you can return to Base and end the day, or press on and explore a location on Avernus.
You all return to Home Base, and may have a long rest. Thus begins

Remember: Evil pervades the Nine Hells, and visitors to this plane feel its influence. At the end of each long rest taken on this plane, a visitor that isn’t evil must make a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw.
You may choose a location to explore on the map of Avernus, OR you may head right to the main mission objective and follow Lulu. Whatever you decide to do, remember you can either travel by foot, or use the Devil's Ride or Tormentor. Devil's Ride holds 1 person, and the Tormentor holds 4.

Which he promptly threw out the nearest window. "So, right. Think after that last foray, I think I'll what this whole support the troops business is about. But I'll catch up with the rest of when I can, ya dig? Right now... I need something a little 'less' high stakes about it."

AVERNUS, DAY TWO AWAY TEAM: LULU, MISHA, AMELIA, CORRIN, ALLYNNA, JILL, GORF
THE HELLWASP NEST
You ride fast, and hard. The roar of the engine loud, and powerful. (Think Mad Max) Two angry vehicles roaming the Avernian landscape. Looking at the map, you drove towards the Hellwasp Nests. After about a three hour drive, A gigantic sac of wet, papery material floats high above the surface of hell. Angelic figures with feathery wings stick to its surface like flies in amber, their bodies struggling futilely underneath layers of gunk. Iron chains at the bottom of the structure tether it to the hellish landscape.
Misha looked up from the Tormentor. She had heard and seen these things back in the War. Throughout Avernus, aggressive hellwasp colonies shaped enormous nests from the cocooned carcasses of slain angels and other fallen celestials. Such structures were magically buoyant and must be tethered by chains to the surface of Avernus. The cocooned angels then writhe unpleasantly from the motion of the larvae gorging on their insides, creating the false impression that they still live. Because of this, the mere sight of a hellwasp nest has been known to drive mortals mad. Misha gazed upon the structure with hatred, and sadness.
"We must be careful here."she turns and says. "Their stingers will paralyze you."
N1 - THE ENTRY LEVEL
The nest’s entrance is on its underside, where one or more heavy chains tether the nest 100 feet above the surface of Avernus. After an sweat inducing climb upwards into the nest, even Misha is sweating just a little from the exertion. Strangely, this level mostly clear to avoid blocking off the hatcheries above, it seems. You can see piles of discarded gear that has accumulated here among the gory effluvia expelled from the wasps’ devoured captives.

N2 - THE DRONE CELLS
This level is honeycombed with octagonal cells crafted by the hellwasps from a regurgitated mulch of bone, sand, and fat. Three hellwasps are here, working. They detect your intrusion, and attack with their sword like talon and stingers
Just before they continue forward on the mission, Corrin (using her passive perception 17) spots something in the pile of discarded equipment and picks up the pack, storing it away to open it later. First, it was time to kill some wasps!
