"Well, well," Aleister says and grins. "I never was partial to missionaries, pounding on my door wanting to save me, like they couldn't see I was doing just fine. Bothersome, that's what they were, bothersome! So, I wouldn't mind turning the tables on a few and give them 'bothersome' in return."
He peers closely at the Dark Lady's 'friend'? Using Speak with Animals he will greeting the critter, "Fine looking spider you are, met a few of your cousins while I was hunting guerillas in Nicaragua."
"Looking at the lady, "Do you suppose these 'missionaries' will be better with onions and garlic, or just salt and pepper?"

Sarah will suit up in some of the armor from the PPA. She is careful to remove any specific heraldry that might link back to the fallen fort. The PPA will know eventually who infiltrated it and if someone reports troops harassing the CUT under that banner, they would probably make the connection to Yachats. The Eye, however, was kept. She also concentrates for a moment and the longbow in her hands slowly folds into the form of a heavy crossbow. Retrieving a quiver or two of bolts and putting on a helm, she's ready to go.
George does the same (dropped a similar note in the mail chain) carefully donning enough PPA elements to look convincing.
If there is a crossbow he'll pick it up and sling his longbow for the attack.
Thomas goes a more specialist and utilitarian route - his uses his Disguise Self to mimic a set of nondescript armor. Appropriately attired, yet still comfortable in his high-tech gear.
Ooc- dont forget penalties for using armor you are not proficient with. Some of us cant wear heavy armor well.

OOC: George is just pulling on cosmetic elements - think a tabard and belt - not making any changes to his underlying armor
Ooc- Thomas will also store lots of crossbow bolts in an extra quiver.

Aleister smiles broadly at the spider, and laughs. He then will join the others in making preparations for the coming metal party. "I suggest we heal anyone who needs a bit of touching up." He will use his healers kit and herbal kit to do that.
"How many of these bothersome critters are we looking to, huh-em, 'dissuade'?" he asks. He too will don enough of the stuff from the sack of the castle to be a fairly convincing PPA goon. He will also ask the dark lady if she can improve the intensity of his oleander bomb to help ensure anyone wearing armor will suffer a disadvantage as they try and fight and deal with the "burning and itching of hemorrhoidal tissue", as it were. He will also make sure 'Limerick' and 'Poetry' are nice and sharp.
He will brew up a last batch of Goodberries if there is time, just before they festivities begin.

With her new disguise in order, Sarah approached the Lady once more.
"Is it possible for you to magically locate these 'missionaries'? Or give us an idea of where they would be found?"
No magic required. About three days travel to where they where last seen. Any other preparations? Or shall we begin the trek.
Oh, The Lady trusts you so she will send the prisoners back to McKenzie territory with so warriors as escort.
'We appreciate your trust Lady. We'll be on our way to finish this task.'
Em will send Ernie back as well to parley with Clan Mckenzie and bring news to Detroit.
Em removes his hoodie revealing a chain shirt underneath. He'll reorganize his outfit to fall more in line with the PPA men-at-arms attire, as he doesn't know enough about their hierarchy and code to convincingly portray a PPA knight. He'll swap his baseball bat for a longsword as well.
Pulling up his gear and falling in line Em looks at the rest of the group, "Like the missionaries we're about to hunt, let's spread the word," he says smiling.
Edit: wondering if The People had atlatls and javelins/Spears I could borrow for this mission.
This lot are light cavalry and are armed with lance and horsebow (shortbow)
I'll just opt for my longbow and the longsword then.
"So, as to the denouement of our attack, we need to think of the sort of sign we leave behind. Do we want a wounded survivor carrying tails of PPA hostility back to the bosom of their fellow brainwashees? Or perhaps just some broken armour and weapons that say 'Made by the Portland Protective Association Amourer Slavers' or what have you?" Aleister queries. "Maybe if we carved a lidless eye on the forehead of each corpse?"
Any help from the Lady boosting the potency of Aleister's Oleander bombs?

"Leaving behind some PPA-tagged tabard or such would be fine, in addition to the one or two we left go free.Or set up the dead with some kind of SCA-style honour ceremony/grave. Do the PPA do that, like the LARP groups in the UK used to?" Thomas asks.
