George has been uncharacteristically quiet throughout the interrogation of the cleric and the exploration of his room, carefully watching the parties back trail and keeping an arrow notched at all times.
'I honestly don't understand any of this shit, but you all seem very excited. Any chance we can get moving? This place is crawling with zombies and I feel like a sitting duck.'

Thomas nods, safely packing away the newly discovered information. "Yes, let's continue looking through this den of necromancers. I'm going to go invisible while we scout. I'll sing out if I spot anything, but I'll be in front a meter or two."
Thomas casts Invisibility on himself and leads the group as they explore. Gamliel stays with the group, providing that needed extra set of eyes.

“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar

Sarah picks her way through the shadows, using her enhanced sight to find the most silent path. She also keeps her eyes open for any foes sneaking up on them.
Looking through the mess of papers on crafting scrolls, Sarah is very impressed. This... this could change everything. Alas, the lists of 'wants' was always greater than the means but she couldn't wait to try it out. If nothing else, the town could probably kickstart a scroll manufacturing business inscribing low-level utility spells. That could bring in a pretty penny trading with allied communities.
"We done here?" Sarah asks. "I take it we're headed eastward still to continue our sweep?"
Yes if you want, even though I’m sure you’ve forgotten something.
OOC - Is that a hint to look further in the chambers? :)

"It seems to me it is possible that there is another way to the 'center of power', after all, he did say the only way from 'here to there' was to use those spells; he did not say that they were used to move back and forth. One might even say the spells are like a one-way door. Is there anything in the book or papers that explain the spell, what was it, 'Merge with Stone?', I mean merging is not moving through stone."

A bit of tapping on the roof gives a hollow sound. You can't find any loose panels but this way seems much thinner than the walls.

"Well, well, well," Sara murmurs. "Breaking through that will be much less of a problem. I can create a hammer and give it a go? Do we have a way of muffling the noise? A blanket to muffle the blows or a way to block the entrance to stop noise traveling?"
Sarah goes to check the linen/supply closet for anything useful.

Grabbign the blankets from the bed, Sarah, changes her bow into a maul. Wrapping one blanket over the head of the hammer and having her companions hold the other spread over the 'wall', she takes a swing.

You sneak a short distance to the west and it open onto a ledge about 10' above 90'x70' cavern. There is a pool in the centre with and alter beside that. On the alter is a body. Steam is wafting up from the pool.
