She then checks on Granny and sees if she needs anything. It had been a hard blow she'd taken. Once all is well, she will try to sleep until her watch.
"Yes, I think exploration is in order, but very carefully," Aleister say cheerfully, and he hasn't even had any tea yet. "We need a map and some eyes over head, Ofn and Terfysgeath can keep a high watch for things moving on a broad scale." He will send them up as overwatch - anything like mutant elephant assassins should not be tooo hard to spot (one would hope). "Keep your eves out for things similar to bike wheels, cobbling together trailers for the bike would be useful. Anything that looks like composite metal/carbon, light cord or rope; gads, but I could go on with a laundry list that would make "War and Peace" seem as though it were a short story. Sigh! I suppose there is much we'll never notice or be able to use immediately."
He shrugs, "Kid in a candy store syndrome."
He will keep a sharp eye out for anything that remotely relates to medical arts.

Gamliel is active and communicating what he sees as the troupe progresses through the buildings. Thomas refreshes the spells on the group, even adding a Mage Armour aura to the dog for added defenses. He leaves a few of the Magic Mouth alarm stones at obvious routes and junctions to be collected later when the group leaves to site. "I'm going to lock our stuff in this building magically so we can leave the loot safely. " He states, as he sets yet another Magic Mouth alarm on the storeroom door and locks it with Arcane Lock. “Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
"What shall we do with the drunken sailor, weigh-heh an' up she rises early in the morning!" Aleister chants softly as he looks askance at the 'open' door. "Mayhaps therein lie monsters, eh?" He chuckles, limbers up his dart-thrower, and tries to peer into the doorway.
"Let's find out" Thomas says as he takes a minute and prepares a new stone marked with a [spell]Magic Mouth[\spell], set to announce loudly if there is anything larger than a rat moving in the room, then tosses it into the open doorway.

Inside the building you find a lot of dead bodies (over a year old). They had been beaten to death long ago. The are lots of useless computers and some filing cabinets for hard copies. One set of cabinets is labelled subject Sparta and is untouched. There is another set of cabinets labelled subject Athens that has been broken open and set on fire (also apparently a long time ago).
"Athens and Sparta? Huh. I want to say mind and body but... Let's find out," Sarah suggests. "Granny, some divine guidance if possible? Any maybe some help?"

Athens and then Sparta. Do you want a second roll?
Each is different so a separate roll. The Athens files have been deliberately destroyed. Your investigation reveals only that this subject is not designed for combat but is instead an infiltration unit. There may be more there but this is very difficult to reconstruct DC25 Investigation.
These files are undamaged and a quick look shows that they are about the creature you killed. All sorts of stuff, some of it very technical genetic and medical information. The most important piece of information is that there was only one of them. A prototype.

"I'll take second," Sarah suggests.

Aleister hums happily as he sews, stitches, staples Max back towards normality. "This might sting just a wee bit, my friend."

George gladly takes the third watch and settles into a quiet corner to drift off.
Max is his usual stoic self "Tis but a scratch."
The rest of the night is peaceful. Do you want to explore the other project buildings?
"We should check out the other buildings. I don't want surprises but more likely there are materials that might be useful," Sarah suggests.

I'll assume that you start with Project Francis as the other programs are all electronic tech; and therefor bricked by the change.
You check out the outside of their building and find one door that is open.
Sarah readies her bow and takes a look about.

Your group paranoia is admirable but unnecessary.
